dukkadukka Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 i don't believe this at all. methinks that sony have a big announcement up their sleeves that they're saving for a time closer to the 360's release date. sony are a huge company, and despite what many people would like to think, they know what they're doing.
BeerMonkey Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 by the time PS3 comes out ill prob have a xbox360 and will have a rev with several games so theres not much point getting all 3 and the £400+ price tag isnt exactly consumer friendly. Also once microsoft and ninty find out the release 100% they may bring out a load of games around the ps3's release date
RoadKill Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Could this be a Microsoft vs Nintendo battle? I'd be happy that way since they cater for slightly differing markets and would complement each other well. Sony can fuck off.
pedrocasilva Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Rumours of PS3 delays debunkedEurogamer contacted BBC reporter and the resulting report may be quite shocking... By Bob Chance - October 31, 2005 Print Email Many of you may remember the release date rumour started by BBC a week or so back. BBC stated back then that the PS3's release date has been pushed back to 2007, but PSiNext is here to report that the rumour is now officially debunked. BBC has officially confirmed to Eurogamer that the 2007 release date was pure speculation. When the reporter was contacted, he confirmed that the release date was pure speculation--not any "inside" information as most people were led to believe. At least this put to rest the rumour that's been flying around. If everything goes smoothly, you just might see a PS3 in a store near you next-year (of course, most likely excluding PAL regions).
