dannbrownn Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I grabbed myself the wii version just because it is a game i wouldn't pay real money for and as other people have said 'trade in' It will be interesting to see how the Wii Points to Stars exchange does end up working out, Just think of the miilions of stars that must be in existence at the minute... and if they convert them to a currency that can actually be spent on the VC instead of real money... every single one of those stars is going to be lost revenue in effect! Still at least they don't have the financial issues that the PS3 has... giggle
Ginger_Chris Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Either way, I got 1000 points for 789 stars. That wasn't a bad rate. But my guess is still 3000 or 3500.

flameboy Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 No way. You'd better have heard wrong. Afraid to say it does appear to be a common consensus, think about it Nintendo aren't going to just let people buy as many as they want otherwise you'll have a ton of people who are will never need to buy Wii Points again...

Well you can only have 10000 at one time, and it'll be very few people that can use only stars to buy enough Wii Points to last for the entire console lifespan, particularly considering that the exchange rate is likely to be awful. It does seem like NoE though.
