Boomstick
http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=8862628&publicUserId=4549175 "But both companies are legendary for their cheapness (see: Tecmo's repurposing of a 5 year-old PS2 game -- Rygar -- as a $500,000 quickie port to the Wii, a project which proved so disastrous and unportable that Tecmo had to go back to the drawing board with it, at nearly three times the cost of what they were trying to achieve in the first place), and cheapness in development generally begets cheap-ass results, both critically and commercially"
...
It seems as if most of the Wii titles target a younger or more casual audience -- who do you think the audience for this title is? KK: I think definitely this game is slightly geared more toward hardcore gamers. Not too hardcore, but more toward a hardcore audience. When you look at the user profile of the Wii system, they tend to cater more to casual type of people that tend to enjoy Zelda and that kind of thing. This guy sounds a bit stupid... Anyway, IGN Hands-on: http://wii.ign.com/articles/913/913847p1.html But... no Euro release date??

I heard a lot of good things about the original and wanted to know if this was worth picking up considering I didn't get it before.

I have checked around and Game and Gameplay don't have it listed but Play.com have it down as the 26th June and seeing as a release in June was mentioned earlier its a good shout. K-project
Crikey this is going to have to be a budget release to get any interest. It's a tenner game at most imho. I used to have it years ago on the PS2, and while I kinda enjoyed the atmosphere, it's really let down down by some clumsy gameplay. I'm really surprised to hear they haven't even added in a widescreen option, or indeed anything else that might have justified the Wii release. Really, after watching the GameTrailers review above, it sounds like a disaster of a port and a completely unnecessary one at that. If you see it for £30, I would advise against the purchase personally.
