AshMat Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 I just got this new pc and there are supposed to be 2 hard drives in it, in my computer it only shows the C:/ drive any help of how to show the other one if it is installed?
Raining_again Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 the only thing i could think of is that the disk space hasnt been allocated to a drive as yet. Control panel > admin tools > computer management > disk management. what does that say
RoadKill Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Do what Raining Again said, Disk Management is the first place to stop off at. (Although I would have told you to get there by going start>run>diskmgmt.msc) If you're not sure what's useful, take a screenshot. Press the print screen button on the keyboard, paste it into paint, save it as a jpeg file and upload the file using http://www.imageshack.us.

Guest Offerman Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 Yea, that will show you if you do have two drivers, and one is unformated. If so, then it wont show in My Comp, but will in Disk Manager.
christophicus Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 are you sure there are actually 2 drives in it? have you checked?
RoadKill Posted October 21, 2005 Posted October 21, 2005 smarty pants Sadly, it's the only thing I'm good at.
