Dante Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Nippon Ichi, the team behind games like Atelier Iris, Ar Tonelico, Disgaea and more may be moving into DS and Wii territory. During a meeting discussing their upcoming PS2/PSP projects, a NIS America exec was quoted as saying, “I’ve heard rumors–just rumors!–that NIS is preparing DS and Wii contracts”. Hopefully we will hear some sort of official announcement soon. I would love to see some of Nippon Ichi’s work on the Wii or DS. GoN
Shino Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 They've said a long time ago that they were interested in Nintendo Revolution.
Domstercool Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 That be awesome. I love their games. They already have Makai Wars coming to the PS3. The best thing is their games aren't graphics heavy. It's all about cool art. So no reason why they shouldn't be any on the Wii.
pedrocasilva Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Hell must have frozen, since Nippon Ichi never developed a game for any platform that isn't Sony Playstation brand since it was founded in 1994; well, that's pretty evident considering they're a Japanese and only now are asking for NDS developer licence. Still seeing these guys, plus the Wild Arms guys from yesterday (who never worked on a Nintendo console either) is reassuring to say the least.
Domstercool Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 There's also 2 new PS2 games coming from them and 1 new and a port of Disgaea for the PSP also coming to USA. Woo can't wait for them!
Sarka Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Ooooh, I hope they bring some SRPG action! Disgaea is so great. Though of course these are just rumours and chances are if anything comes from them, it won't be a big, several hundred hour, RPG.
Domstercool Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 Should check out the new game trailers. Soul Nomad sounds crazy. DESTROY EVERYTHING!! WOOO!!
Hellfire Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 I can't play disagae because my swap disc cd reader doesn't work for some damn reason. And it's not just mine, my friends' too. I've tried other CD games, they also don't work.... Damnit. Anyone that could help I would apreciate it.
