Tellyn Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 It's tiny but I've just remembered it. Remember Iwata said we'd get a message when someone on our Friend List bought a new game? Where is it? It seems to me like WiiConnect24 is just being used for messages, and not half the stuff Ninty said it would do. Like downloading firmware through Connect24, and sending us demos (which to be fair hasn't been announced yet, but I doubt they're going to use WC24).
Emasher Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 can the wii still connect to a computer moniter someone said at e3 05 that it would be able to do this. though the wii connect 24 things could esily be added.

raven_blade2006 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 I think this is a feature that would appear when the online gaming service really gets going(I hope). Right now it wouldnt seem to have much purpose as the online network is not ready. Seriously I just want to know what they are planning.
ShadowV7 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Don't we all, after all this time we still know nothing.
ZeldaFreak Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 But aren't game demos mostly around the 250Mb upwards so I doubt you'll be able to.
Tellyn Posted February 13, 2007 Author Posted February 13, 2007 But aren't game demos mostly around the 250Mb upwards so I doubt you'll be able to. A Gottlieb Pinball Classics demo was promised by System 3 (it might be streamed) and Iwata promised DS demos.
ZeldaFreak Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Ah demos for ds games. My likely guess is that it won't be available- after all look how far we have had to come to online and that isn't fixed yet. And they wouldn't stream it talk about bandwith killer!
Hellfire Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Since the Wii is updatable we can see many new things in the future.
Charlie Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Yeah all consoles can, you need an adaptor. Yeah, but there isn't a VGA adaptor out for the Wii, there is for all other consoles.
fanman Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 New games available through the shop channel are definatley coming in the future. I think that was reconfirmed quite recently.
Kurtle Squad Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Well there are monitors that take TV & PC wires
Speedfreak Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 It's pretty obvious that all this crap is still coming. The console's been out LESS THAN THREE MONTHS.
ShadowV7 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 You know I totally forgot about this. Not a huge issue but nice little feature.
raven_blade2006 Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Ive got a 2GB SD Card sitting in my Wii. Game demos must come as soon as physically possible. They are not in HD so they will take less space than demos on the other consoles.
