Cameras

I didn't want to spam the Meaningless post thread about this so I decided to create a thread here.

I'm looking for a camera which I can use on a daily basis. I dont want it too small and fidgety like you can get cameras now. The ones that all families must own because of its compactness. I dont want a big one that pro's use, I was something mid.

I can't remember who suggested it (sorry) but this Panasonic looks about the size I want. All I want it for is for going to town taking photos, going abroad taking photos, going countryside taking photos, but I want high quality photos.

I want a view finder on it, aswell as a little screen. The viewfinder just seem really practical sometimes.

So if anyone can help then thanks.

Cheers guys.

I'm liking the reviews of "Fresh's" camera. The Fuji looks nicer and peopel are saying its a great camera for beginners. However is that an SLR, I've heard they are hard to learn, thus this would contradict what I just said.

Fresh, what batteries does it take? AA? I'm thinking of getting some rechargable ones there if I buy it. Also what do you get in the box? I dont see it on the website, I'l search around more for it though.

On a side note, would there be a noticable difference between 5 and 6 megapixels?

I'm actually stuck between the two, the one in my link and Fresh's.

They both look good and their reviews are awesome.

The Fuji is cheaper and with added extras, it comes out a lot cheaper than the Panasonic by itself. But the Panasonic looks smaller and I dont know appealing to me more. If only I could find a review where they were tested against each other.

Its not a SLR it just has a nice lens, regarding how easy it is i would say that while it isn't as easy as some it its still relatively simple to use however it offers advanced modes as well. Also it take 4 AA battery's. Have a lok at my Deviantart is you want to see some of the pictures it takes.

not sure if its too compact but its a great camera, high quality photos and movies, easy to put on pc with usb cable (included) or SD card.

Very good camera and very robust. Have dropped mine a couple of times and it still works prfectly. Also has a 2 inch , high quality screen
