Dyson Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Does anyone else have this problem? Whenever I start a new chapter on Call of Duty 3 or get to a part with quite a lot of action, my controls lock up and it send me straight into a wall/enemy/grenade etc. The nunchuk and the wiimote both lock up and stop responding for 2/3 seconds before doing it again. Eventually it fixes itself after 10 seconds or so but it definately destracts from the gameplay. Any ideas would be much appreciated. NotE: This is the only game it happens to me for.
Hellfire Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 I was going to ask this too, because a friend bought it and haapens the same shit. I told him to trade for another game. Stupid developers.
4q2 Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Yeah, happens more or less everytime there is plenty of action on the go. No suggestion other than pretend your character has weird seizures as well as the occasional bout of shellshock.
Colin Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 I've also had this problem a few times with it, and again, when the action gets busy on-screen it tends to do it. I'm on some of the last few levels, and the controls lock up so I can't even progress, so I've given up with the game. The controls locking up and there being no multi are the only real complaints I've got with the game though. Shipping a game where the controls lock up to a point where it's unplayable just isn't acceptable.
mariosmentor Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Yup had this for awhile. Shame. If the poor control setup, multiplayer absence, random lock-ups and cheesy cut scenes were all fixed this could have amounted to a game. As it is, unfinished and unloved, it deserves the castration of the Activision team or at least a firm warning delivered at the end of a sharp pointy stick.
Letty Posted January 31, 2007 Posted January 31, 2007 So its the games fault? I thought it was just me, sitting too far away or something
