I imagine at some point she'll be completely madeover in the show and not ugly, at least for a while. A rather successful show usually lasts for 8 seasons. Will this show last that long? Unlikely. Also, I never said it'd last forever either, I don't expect more than 4 seasons from it, especially considering it's adapted from an already existing story which must have ended somewhere. Indirectly, having to drag out the show with predictable storylines etc. Doesn't have a good chance of lasting...
