What if he wants a competent, feature filled system with the possibility of future upgrade, decent tech support, full compatibility and a full choice of games with powerful video hardware to run them? Posted December 31, 2006 Shorty pretty much said everything but I just did a quick comparison from apple store and dabs.com Basically: iMac: 868£ Similar pc from components on dabs.com: 779£ (could probably be under 750£ with minor changes to the setup) So is it fair to pay ~100£ for the apple logo? The new chips have 2Mb more cache and are called E6320 and E6420. The pricing won't change so the E6430 will cost the same amount of money as E6400 does now.
