Hopefully (as in if I get it): Console Bundle Classic Controller Zelda Wii Play + Remote Extra Nunchuck Wii points card (maybe two) Games I've not decided on: Red Steel (I'll most likely get this) Super Monkey Ball (probably not) Rayman (Probably not) The games I'm not sure if I'm getting I'll probably get later, towards christmas/2007. -
Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)

Then the scrapped it due to putting it on Wii, probably. That would've sucked anyway, in my opinion. -
I had only one, but then I was told there was a shortage and I might not get one. Then I got another preorder at another local shop, but seeing as I didn't want to sit at home punching myself for not ordering one sooner on launch day; I got a third preorder at an online store. You're probably right though, but it's whoever ordered several before people started thinking there'd be a shortage who are to blame, not the ones who ordered several after they heard it. The shortage is probably slightly blown out of proportion due to it though.

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)

HOLY SHIT ARE YOU STILL ON ABOUT THIS. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!? -
Why would you ever want to move the sensor bar from above/below your TV..? It's not like you'll be using this case to carry your Wii around. Looks sweet though, might get this if someone explains to me what the things on the side are.

Gotta be said that Trondheim is pretty cool. Apart from the weather. I might even go as far as to say that it's perfect, apart from the damn weather. You English people complain about your weather all the time, but you have no idea.
-
Yeah, stuff like that. And their, y'know, just.. general insane attitude. The case they're fighting for may be good, but they act like loons. It just makes me lose faith in their case altogether.

You've got him wrong. He probably doesn't have too much of a hand in the development of games right now, but I think he tries to much more than he needs to. As he said at that one E3 conference, "On my business card I'm the president of Nintendo. In my brain I am a video game developer. But in my heart I am a gamer." Or something like that. And I think that portrays him well.

Well, I've got my preorder with Spiderman and I'm #40 there. They thought they'd get more than that but obviously as GAME got less units they're probably cutting them down, and they don't know how many they're getting (though they might get that many). So then I went and preordered with Spaceworld as well a few weeks ago. The guy there seemed more optimistic, but didn't know how many they were getting either. If I can't get one at either I'm gonna go around town/the huge mall outside of town with like 5 game-carrying stores until I find one. I'm taking the day off school, too, so I'll be out early. I refuse to sit home on launch day without a Wii.
-
Blender, you bastard.. If one of your preorders are with GAME, cancel that one, as I've preordered with Spiderman, which is being supplied by GAME. Adds a 0.0001% chance for me!

The comparison to a mouse is good, yes. And it just shows how much better the Wii Remote is, as it's 3D while a mouse is just 2D. A Wii Remote that would point at the screen would be the same as a mouse that you'd literally put on the screen and move around. However, you do not. You move the mouse around on your desk and the cursor on the screen acts accordingly. Even though you are not actually moving the mouse where the cursor is, it still feels like you are. That's what it'll be like with the Wii as well, except as I said in 3D rather than 2D. I'm no motion sensing expert (far from it) and I probably suck at explaining, but I really think this is a good thing. (As in having to point at the screen at all times would distract from the fun somewhat)

Their actions aren't crazier. Their behavior is. (not human rights activists in particular, really, just any activists as a whole)

You'll get the feeling that you're pointing there, once you get used to it. Don't worry.

Zelda: Twilight Princess Discussion (SPOILERS: BEWARE)
Yoshiking replied to EchoDesiato's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Ok, the last picture there. What the hell is that. Some sort of map/overview screen or something? This has been bugging me for a while. It just looks so odd. Reminds me of the start of SMRPG when the bridge is down and Mario is standing there looking at Bowser's Keep. Except this has two more areas to see, and still doesn't seem to serve any purpose. I'm confused. -
I already knew this, read it in a preview feature somewhere. I was relieved, to be honest. They said it took some time to get used to (as they too had thought you would be pointing at the screen), but after they did it was far better that way. And I think it will be too. I'm glad, really, don't see this as a problem.

.. You have a knack for taking everything I say a different way than it was meant. I'm not even gonna bother.
-
He doesn't think human rights is a bad thing. Being against human rights and human rights activists is a very different matter. 'Cause let's face it, some human rights activists (like any other activists) are crazier than the people breaking the human rights. Activists are bizarre.

Heh, that's actually a good question. See, in Norway we're not lame asses who get pissed off if there's nudity on TV (particularily local TV).. And let's face it, it's.. From a video game, so who gives a damn? We don't censor stuff in Norway, ever. Which is good, as I think censorship is BS. "Hey look at us we have freedom of speech. F**K!"

Ah, the weather is always the same anyway.. Crappy.

Birthday Threads (ie Pimp Your Birthday Thread)
Yoshiking replied to Ashley's topic in General Chit Chat
Of course it's not legal to drink when it's not legal to buy, that's ridiculous. If the drinking age is 18, that doesn't mean you can drink when you're 16 if someone else buys it for you.. Obviously. In Germany the drinking age as a whole is 16 though. -
I agree that a trial is needed, but I don't think you're listening to what I'm saying. The trial was not NECESSARY to know the OUTCOME. Though it was still right to have it, you didn't need it to know whether or not he was guilty. Jeez, you guys just don't listen to what people say do you.
-
When the camera pans towards his house in the beginning, through the trees there is where my house would be (but you can't see it ). That's nice though. And yeah, how'd you get them to come to you? I never watch that, is it just like they go home to random people?
-
What Ford meant was that you DIDN'T need the trial to know Saddam was guilty. That was all. (I think, at least)
-
Well, I was there a few times when your grandparents lived there (assuming it's been there for a while).. That's probably true though, the TV took most of my attention.
