  1. I was leaning towards the name Yui, but, then I started listening to music by Yui and ermmmm it seems a bit weird now. lol Sora-Aoi..... No..... That's one of the reasons I said no. =P The mother and baby are still in the hospital because the pediatrition is on there own in the hospital today and didn't get round to my little girl.... I got kicked out at 8 as the hospital doesn't allow visitors even the dad after that hour.
  2. Not to mention the baby is half Japanese... =P I think the mummy wants a Japanese name... She has suggest Aoi and Sakura... I don't like them for various reasons. lol
  3. Aren't these ermmm..... Guys names? As for the title, I feel REALLLY tired and thought I'd use something that reflected my mood abit. I have got 3 hours sleep (not good sleep and split in two halfs) in 48 hours. lol Oh and labour is the most stressful thing in the world.... o.o;;
  4. Thanks everyone. And lololol...... Also, her last name is going to be Matsunaga.
  5. She is 8.2 pounds and was born at 3:50am on march 13th 1 week and 1 day overdue...... She doesn't yet have a name and I'm open to suggestions. Isn't she cute?
  6. Why on earth would you want to live in there?
  7. Ahhh wait I just read the press release..... Death Note will be available to download whilst it's on in Japan? Is it going to be subtitled? Will it be uncut? How much will it cost? Ohhh so many questions. o.o;;
  8. GYAH! Just noticed it got licenced. >.> Who is still subbing it? v.v;;
  9. Meh it's free, when you sprain your wrist you don't have to worry about it being serious enough to actually go.. You just go and waste there time without a care in the world (other then the pain)...... In most other countries this is not the case. Yup, before I posted the pictures a lot of people probably didn't know... It's them things that most people don't know that REALLY attracted me to the country. I mean i wanted to go there before, but, after being there I litterally fell in love with the country. So depressing not to be there. I have been around England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales... I've been to nightclubs, country fields, restaurants, football stadiums, cricket grounds, parks, Ice Skating arena's etc..... It's not like I haven't done stuff in this country. lol As for those quaint little areas where they have lots of things to do like the one you showed in your picture, I've had my fare share of them. lol I'm not really interested.. I do think that if what you want to do is go out to a club every night, then England is a good place to do it, but, if like me you're into something a little different to the majority of young people in England you're a bit stuck. Oh and as I pointed out, whilst I referenced London a lot, I only did this as I live here...... I have ventured the 4 corners of the UK and I prefered Japan. lol I wouldn't say they are improving really, atleast in recent memory, but, as I said, I do like the service..... As for hearing about the bad, well it's a way to put pressure on people... Give people complements and they slack. You haven't gotten around much have you? "Fuck off you Japanofile!" "Stop living in a world of cartoons and fairytails!" "blahblahblah get out of your house blahblahbalh!" "Go out and actually experience your countries culture before talking shit about it" "Get out from behind your PC and experience real life before you blahbalhblah" Seriously, I've taken more shit over wanting to live in Japan then anything in my life. rofl Luckilly this was on the internet so I don't really give a crap what the dudes saying, but, still.... It's not exactly a big a portion as you think. It's funny when it's people outside in the "real life" telling me how cool and fun it will be to live in Japan and the apparent "geeks" telling me how stupid I am for thinking such things. lol How the tides have turned...... Internet is great.
  10. Not exactly...... Not everyone is misserable and considering it's a hospital you would expect it to be filled with disease....... Tall buildings and neon signs are awesome though. lol Try walking around in a place like Tokyo for 3 weeks and then coming back to London..... It's a very strange feeling..... Everything is really dark and the skyline is so low it makes you feel kind of nervous (not sure if that's the right feeling)..... Not everything sucks in England....... I love football and my friends/familly are here......... Oh and the traffic lights are slightly less confusing. lol
  11. I just find England very boring...... :-/ No point in blindly loving a place just because you were born there. :-/
  12. Well, lets assume the shit you're talking about is hating your job or whatever... That's more to do with the job you are in needing to be changed not really the country..... If you have an attitude which is life sucks then you need to change your attitude..... If your problem is that you don't really like the country then you change the country. It depends what you like to get out of life..... The one thing I really miss is having something nice to do in my spare time.... This is something Japan gave me in my albeit short time there. I saw things that I could do on a weekly basis... If you find a country that offers you this then that's really where you should try to be.
  13. That's a really stupid thing to say.... You can say it to some extent about places like Scotland, Wales and England which are really close together and in general pretty similar, but, to say it about two countries so far apart with such a different climate and culture is stupid........ :-/ I'm not talking about just Japan in this sence, it's any country...... Blah if you think all countries are so similar to wherever you live (I don't know) that it doesn't make a difference then you seriously need to get to travelling. lol
  14. What's wrong with immigrants? Oh and I made a mistake..... The big parfaits were in Shibuya not Shinjuku. ^^d
  15. Like I said, it had the same effect on me. ; ; Oh and I think I saw the place that served them exact desserts (as in that big) it was in Shinjuku I think.
  16. Yeah it's not the only place in England, but, there is nothing overly special about anywhere else either. :-/ Yeah whilst I was in japan two Hurricanes just missed the places I was in... We got a bit of rain...... It's not really scary though.... They are also in one of the most earthquake prone places in the world... To counter this they also have one of if not the best warning system. *shrug* Not to mention Englands rather strange weather recently I'm not too worried about it.. London zoo is alright, I've been there lots though..... Alton Towers is the last place in England I really want to go to that I haven't been to..... Oh not including the Emirates Stadium. I don't see how you could over do it so to speak though... If you haven't already overdone England how could you do it in Japan? lol
  17. I didn't say there wasn't.... Infact that shortcake was from a french website I think... The thing is that in Japan restaurants put more effort into deserts then they do atleast in England... I'm not saying there is this one place with really nice deserts.... I'm saying that pretty much everywhere I went did... In England it's not the case.. Well to live there you would have to work there no? Also my point is that in England there isn't that much to see/do..... In Japan it's hard to see everything the country has to offer.. There will always be things to do on days off etc... And Ghibli museum I would defo go again. Same thing goes for the food museum..... In this food museum you don't just look at stuff you go there to try different food... And it's all really nice.. Why wouldn't you return? The city pictures are also common place so if that's what you like then that's what you get.... Temples like I showed if you wanted to go to one and you wanted to live around such beautiful places you could.. It's not like you have to go far out of your way to get to them.... Infact that picture of Harujuku is just 2 mins away from a nice temple. :-/ Next are the beaches.. Loads of people move to countries for beaches, why would Japan be any different? Sapporo festival I was kind of showing for a contrast in what you can get in the country... You can go from that to a tropical beach by travelling only half way accross a relatively small country.... Hokkaido is in general a very beautiful place..... Now the onsens, there are lots of people who would love to live near them.... My girlfriend is one of these people.. :-/ The food, please tell me somewhere in London I can find that food and actually made well..... I know one place I can find Okonomiyaki and it's fucking expensive.. I have to a) make it myself or b) spend a lot... In Japan it's a very cheap food. :-/ Seriously I can find many reasons in there to live in the country. :-/ Oh and them things becoming the norm? Yes fucking please. o.o;;;
  18. Earlier on I was giving a couple of reasons of why I would want to live in Japan..... Here are some photos. Sapporo snow festival: Basically every winter they have a festival with massive snow statues and these are some of the cool ones I quickly found on google.... I couldn't go because I went in the summer, but, when I live there I will make sure to go. Okinawa tropical beaches: Yeah ermm, pretty much self explanatory..... Okinawa has some amazing beaches. lol Jigokudani (hell valley): This is a really cool place if you like the whole volcanic activity thing. Jigokudani onsens: They seem to enjoy it. Temples: Tokyo..... Shinjuku: Harajuku: (Ok at this point I'm really starting to miss Japan.... ) Ikebukuro (my home away from home in Japan.... My hotel was here so I really got to know the place ^^): If you turn to your left when looking at the picture there are 3 awesome arcades. If you turn around and walk down the road you will come up to Milkyway an awesome restaurant that has the best milkshakes ever, eventually you come up to an all you can eat Okonomiyaki place where not only is it all you can eat, but, all you can drink as well (much like many places in Japan as it's normally you just pay for a bottomless drink) the really impressive thing about this is alcohol was free as well.. If you can get there with 4 friends it is really worth your money. Oh oh oh and straight ahead there is a building, inside on one of the floors there is a cool Aquarium which has seal shows like every 30 mins.... It also has a food museum..... Sounds strange, but, it basically has lots of food you can eat.. Very very nice food. Mitaka: Mitaka is from what I saw a really nice and quiet area which I got the impression was on the outskirts of Tokyo (I never looked it up, but, that's the direction we were going on the train =P), it also happens to be the home of the Ghibli Museum. ^^d Oh and this. :-/ Oh and here's Akihabara: Yeah that tall building on the right is an arcade..... One of the worse arcades that is...... Yeah, still kicks the poop out of the Trocadiro. ; ; This is another of there 7 floor shops (like any of them aren't atleast that tall) guess what they sell........ =P Food: Okonomiyaki: So nice! Don't let the look put you off. lol Omu Raisu (Om rice - I don't really know how you're meant to spell it =P): Egg, rice and ketchup you say? Give me more please. ; ; (I get it made for me quite a lot ^^ Shabu-Shabu: Beef/pork + boiling water (might not have been water.... Oil?) + mystery sauce? Yes please........ You can find all you can eat Shabu-Shabu places as well and it's really nice. I nearly turned it down.. So glad I didn't. Ramen: You all know what it is..... You might have problems ordering it at a ramen place cause a lot of them you order through a machine....... It's all written in Japanese. lol Parfait: In Japan you will discover they are really big on nice/pretty(?) deserts over there... The parfait is one you will see a lot....... I ate more ice cream with random fruit, sauce, creme and ermmm corn flakes then I have at any point in my life. =P Crushed ice: Ok I can't find a picture of this, but, it's pretty much ice that's been crushed and flavoured.... It's everywhere in Japan during the summer...... There are some really nice flavours and they aren't stingy with it.... You don't end up with just ice... There is also a special kind of this sold in Akihabara which is beautiful.... Before one friday smap episode that was aired in Japan whilst I was there there were only two places that sold it.... This is the 3rd I know of. Shortcake: This goes back to my thing with them really liking deserts... Short cakes are another example...... Very nice cakes over there.... Creme puffs: They have actually finally made it over to London, but, there is a lot more choices in Japan..... Ok, I'm going to stop now because I have to go out soon, but, these example are just the tip of the iceberg really..... I think I covered my examples from earlier quite well though.
  19. There are so many reasons to want to go there...... How about the food? The weather? The amazing cities? The beautiful scenary? I can't see why some would not want to if not live there at least visit the place. It's really amazing. It's a hell of a lot cheaper then London. :-/ Seriously, so much cheaper then here........ :-/ Oh and the the word "waps" is really stupid. :-/ That's the reason why a lot of people want to go there yeah.... You would need to find more then that to want to live there though........ It's not think, it is true that a foreigner can get a women pretty easilly there....... It just depends on what kind of women you are looking for. :-/ Oh and I plan on moving to Japan myself when I graduate.
  20. Please lord let this be good! PLEAASSSEEE!!!!!!! Mina is the coolest character ever to star in a show as a model ever! As I'm a big densha/Mina fan I'm preying this is going to be good.
  21. Zelda and Gears of War are obvious choices...... Seeing the list people have been giving me it doesn't look like I missed a too eventful year tbh. :-/
  22. Episode 11 was cool, I already knew the outcome of that episode though...... Seeing Harajuku in that ep made me miss Japan again. >.>;; I never did get the trainers I wanted from there either. ; ;
  23. I really can't wait for Bleach and Naruto fillers to end! It's so close it's unbelievable. lol How long have Naruto fillers been going on btw? lol
  24. Ok I did this last year as well, but, with my trip to Japan costing pretty much all my money I was hoping people could give me some game suggestions! ^^d Anything that was worth buy from the end of last year to this year suggest it here. I'm then gunna have to take the best of the bunch and suggest them to random familly members as they have been pestering me to tell them what I want. o.o;; This is like my only chance to catch up on this years games to some degree so yeah. Thanks for any help. ^^;
  25. Not really, it's entirely possible it is something else, but, to say we aren't doing crap because it might be is just the stupidest thing I've ever heard.... It's like playing russian roulette. :-/
