That Guy

This is looking very promosing so far, although if I do get it I'll buy it for Xbox 360.

I think I might start joining in with some more Gears games as I was actually ever so slightly better last night than before (seriously, I used to get fuck all kills, at least I had 2-3 last night :p). After using the shotgun a ton I didn't get chainsawed as much. Couple of questions: 1. Are your shots more powerful if you get a perfect reload? I'm sure I read that somewhere. 2. If someones down and you're far away can you shoot them to properly kill them?

Oh christ, everyones gonna be amazing at Halo aren't they?Anyone that's never played Halo before?

*Adds Gizmo to friends list* I enjoyed Gears tonight, even though I totally sucked. I'm such a n00b. Who's kill did I steal? Sorry 'bout that.. I hate the fecking headsets, I can never hear people properly. I'll try and actually talk next time :p

Lol, I'll be lucky to get 2 a game. Half the time I get killed straight away or stay alive til the end and don't get to kill anyone. I suck at Gears.

Just played PGR3 and it looks so much better than Forza 2, it really surprised me. Was also a hell of a lot more fun.

I had to though, because I was going through getting 4* ratings in everything, and now I've achieved it I don't need the gangs there, I just want to search for orbs and now i'd have to go through and kill everyone again.

One thing that annoyed me about Crackdown now is that you can't just put crime back on. It's either no one or gangs. Then once gangs are back on you can't turn them off.

Wounded. I don't think that will have done anything to your 360. Especially if everythings worked right now.

I don't like Forza at all. It plays just like Gran Turismo which no doubt people who like cars will love, but I don't like it. I'd much rather play PGR3. Might cancel it and pre order DiRT.

Spurs 1-1 Blackburn. Apparantly Hossam Ghaly (came on in the first half for Malbranque) when he got substituted for being awful, took his shirt off, threw it on the floor, and rubbed his hands together. Hopefully the end of his Spurs career...

Yeah man, can't wait for the new Crackdown stuff. Forza2 is taking a fcuking ridiculous amount of time to download. I'm at 8% adter half an hour.

I actually think this is quite a good thread, some good debates. Personally, as much as I'm loving Zelda right now 25-30 hours in, some of what you said would have made it a better game. I think some of the things in Gamespots infamous 8.8 review are right, some outdated presentation (I don't mean graphically, I think the game looks amazing at times, and I own a 360 with a hdtv), but with the sound (lack of voices, not Link but all the other characters, the lack of orchestral music) let it down slightly. I also totally agree with what you said about it not feeling like a 'world'. It feels a bit like a bunch of random locations, where there's about 3 people in each. Really looking forward to seeing what happens with the next Zelda title.

Anyone still up for Gears at the weekend? I might get some practice in over the next few days cus I was crap before and now I've got 3 months of not playing...

I still enjoyed it, like I said I still thought it was great, but I thought the other ones were better.

Yeah, it is a bit. I always use my Gmail one, but I've also got a .mac one, and an o2 one which only gets used on my phone. Also my one at work.
