The thing is he appears to be a character investigator, and the sheer amount of information in the writeup means that we can pretty much piece together what everyone did each night. That makes character investigators very powerful. Rummy which character are you?

the man in the van is the killer. The mushroom's initial target was the man in the van. Who is the mushroom? We can literally kill a mafia today if they come forward with their target. If they do not, we know two mafia characters already. Magnus should be kept alive. The three men in suits know who the mushroom character is, though they may be mafia as they appear to be protecting the killer.

This game contains mr motivator?? I reckon marc is the Shaman, as he hasn't logged in since the 10th which would also strongly imply that he was town...

on-the-fly balancing should be kept to a minimum IMO. You design a game, THEN you run it. If there are balance issues, you already made your bed. You learn for next time, and you make an even better game.

Aye, when I'm GM I do sometimes find myself feeling camaraderie for the mafia team, but I usually confine that to the team forum. Again want to say, very nicely run and well designed game.

I'm not bothered by mislynching, it's a necessary part of playing as town - if you always wait to have concrete evidence, games end this way more often than not. Also I am not offended but to be honest it was that move that made me change my mind about your alignment, so it might be worth a rethink for use in future.

Very well run game. Adding an extra mafia player as a double voter is a big swing for balance, but seeing where we ended up, it was probably a better fit than just the 3 person mafia, which would have had a hard time. Some frustrating moments, but I at least feel good about my mafia detection skills. This is what happens if you slouch, town!
