This turns out not to be true, we didn't pick up on that suggestion at all, or at least I didn't and it wasn't discussed

The mafia killer was immune to redirection and targeting, which I liked because endgame townie target swappers are often too powerful - compare a game state where 1 townie dies in a night versus 1 mafia dying. This meant there could still be a townie redirector in the mix without sacrificing balance. the double votes were in the hands of a townie (Peeps) and a neutral (Cube)

What a game! Great set up and running Jimbob, tons of fun. Just gotta keep those vote counts and you're golden MVP Mafia was clearly DuD I would argue though many might not agree, MVP town was Sheikah. His made up info early on really got the game moving. Not sure how it would have gone if it had been wrong, but it's the kind of move I enjoy making sometimes. The only criticism is that I would have held out and not have admitted to lying. For myself, I think I should have just killed Cube when I had the chance. No one gets worked up about lynching a neutral. I AM a pro lynch townie, but circumstances didn't work out for me on that behaviour nonetheless. All times where I claimed work was interfering with my playing were truth. I was outright lying about talking about game design with Jimbob - anyone pulling shit like that SHOULD be lynched on the spot. Take note!

It's the thought that counts! gg

Yeah or it seems like part of my role that Cube verified as typical of my character. You've claimed character cop, why not check it out? As far as I'm concerned, Jon Dedede and Magnus represent the remaining mafia. This is where Cube's vote is going to matter. I hope keeping him alive was not a mistake.
-
One down, two to go. And once again... vote Jon Dedede Jon's claims continue to be unverifiable. He targeted mr-paul last night, according to my PM. Twice he's killed, and no one is listening to my info. If you're going to let Sheikah's horseshit fuck the game up at this point I am gonna roast you in the after party. One wrong vote and it's game over.
-
If we remove Ganepark and Jon Dedede, we'll be in good shape. The outcome of that should inform the alignments of Magnus and DuD. Also I'm off to the pub now, so I'll see you all in the morning.
-
right now there are two more people claiming tracker in the mix. Do you think there could be two mafia trackers? Also with this many people who end up apparently untargetable, it makes some sense to have a glut of trackers around.
-
That's pretty flaccid. You say you suspect Ganepark, but the real goal of that post was to get people to vote for me instead of him. Defending someone without appearing to defend someone.
-
Oh yeah BTW the live action trailer in the OP was made by the company I work for, at the NY office....which I'll be in on monday! Woop woop
-
Yeah, I got Jon Dedede. He targeted Rummy, along with Cube and The Peeps, apparently.
-
Also I only bought three hours of wifi so I will be gone soonish
-
there's the third member then...
-
change vote Ganepark32 My character is female, Kazumi Goto, as previously revealed.
-
I am currently at 30,000 feet. My flight number is DL763. I would be up for a gane lynch, as long as one goes through...that isn't me, otherwise all of yesterday was a complete waste. Not to mention the $20 wifi charge...
-
yesterday was Sheikah fucking the dog, getting lynched for lying, with ass-all benefit to the town.
-
I didn't come out with it then because it's scummy as hell, and I was fighting for my life. If Jon is the yin to my yang, it follows that we are opposite alignments. Then again, this game has broken a lot of conventions. There could be a third person targeting Rummy. Can everyone's actions be accounted for?
-
@Magnus_Peterson who was your original target? Oh yeah I almost forgot. When Sheikah "came clean", he was still lying for some fucking reason. N2 I did not target DuD.
-
Hey, planes have wifi now! So I just spent $20 for this post, so listen up - Jon Dedede is the killer. I'm untargetable while tracking, just like he claims to be. His target was Rummy. If it's between Peeps and Jon Dedede, I'll take my chances with taking out Dedede. vote Jon Dedede With Cube claiming a non interested party now, he can be an absolute wildcard. We're probably too near the endgame to take the time to remove him, but votes are going to be drastic, so watch out for that.
-
Yo! About to get on a plane to NY, won't be around until the wee hours of tomorrow.

2nd post: unfortunate timing, sorry Jimbob

Sheikah's right, I am mafia.... ahhhhh just kidding. Man I am glad that worked out. Things will be much clearer when we see what his powers actually are. Would one of the four thousand protectors mind looking out for me tonight?

We didn't talk about this game in particular, it was just general notes; I don't know anything about the mechanics in this game, or Mass Effect at all. I get your point on metagaming, but doing the hours and being in the timezone I am, I'm put at a real disadvantage. I think that I'm going to end up dead today regardless, so instead, you should consider your actions following the innocent flip. Sheikah has really driven for this lynch, on false information that is being openly contradicted. I am being singled out from a group of people who lynched a townie, even though we SHOULD be lynching every day*, and the behaviour was consistent with my past town runs. I'm pro lynch, if it makes sense. That's why an open Cube should be a alive and a closed non respondent should not. On D2 I was thinking Jon looked bad, but now I'm not sure. I think there's probably a mafia on the Aqui1a lynch, so between Gane and Cube unless I'm totally wrong about Peeps. * actually in these theme games, a breaking strategy would be to massclaim on D1, because the roles are so often tailored to the characters that any oddness would be easy to spot. I suggest a massclaim tomorrow.

Good morning! OK so I'm going to lay this out now so we can put it to bed; Sheikah is lying. vote Sheikah Let's start with some show and tell. I am Kazumi Goto. “I'm the best thief in the business, not the most famous. Need to watch my step to keep it that way.” I can track and I can mirror track. The mafia gods spoke to me, and told me to mirror track myself N1 and N2. N1, my faith was faltering, but N2, I was given a message - Sheikah tried to target me and ended up at Jon Dedede. This is consistent with my role as I am told about redirections. I can prove these powers if people need verification. Now for Sheikah, 12 player game, two cops? And a cop that can ignore redirection? And get sane results while doing it? I'm an easy kill from the info that's come out, granted, and my living situation hasn't helped as I'm intermittent, but the reality is that Sheikah has invented his role and his information just like Cube's invented information in the previous game. If he's town he's playing a reckless move and if he's mafia, he's trading his life for mine, as presumably you will nail him tomorrow if I die. Further, a bit of meta information. I advised Jimbob about OP roles back when we messaged each other about design, and Sheikah's one is exactly the kind of thing I advised him to avoid.

Jimbob asked me about game designa couple of weeks back and character alignment came up. Don't expect game alignment to match here.
