After Jonnas's game, I'll be ready to start another Cloak and Dagger mafia. If Sheikah isn't going to be ready for a month, I'll have time to fit mine in before his starts - depending on when Jonnas is ready to go. I am potentially ready to start mine whenever but I don't want to run it alongside his, because they're both likely to be quite involving.

Was ridiculously obvious that I was mafia from day 1. No idea how I wasn't lynched. Not only was there a town roleblocker but there was a town double vote too.

I think most of the villains are underwhelming. Enemies like the Daleks need more than a couple of episodes to establish the real threat they're supposed to cause. In recent times it's just been ep 1 - DALEKS ARE HERE and ep 2 - DALEKS ARE GONE. There's no real danger.

I suppose it would help with teamwork values. I only suggested waiting because it'll allow you to accumulate more funds, giving you more options with your purchases. You get 1m sponsor bonus each week and the cup will go on long enough for you to add 3m to whatever you've got already. Of course, if you can already afford the player you want then there's no reason not to go for them. I'm hoping for a decent midfield youth but if I don't get one I'll have to buy one as well as a new youth forward. So I guess I'm more reliant on econ!

Well my experience of raises so far hasn't left me with the greatest of confidence in double jumps. The fact that I've had players on consistently high DV and not even got a single raise out of them across seasons really puts me off relying on a double jump somewhere down the line. Also, it's no good to me a few seasons from now. I'd rather spend that time developing a player with more potential. Flink, seeing as the cup is coming up (and you'll get no dv from it - or near enough), you should wait and buy your players just before the new season starts. That way you'll have more money and more options :p that's what I'm doing.

I know but as they're still young and low in skill, I can match them with 18/19 year olds with more potential. I'd rather swap a 24-6 for an 18-5 any day. Don Martland is a 21-5 and may well be a 22-6 next season but that's just not good enough. He's slipping behind the curve and I'd rather replace him now. An 18-5, or even 18-4, is always better than a 21-5 :p

This season was do or die for my youth. Most of them just couldn't keep consistent form though. I got Timmy Grayson and Don Martland to high enough DV but neither raised, so they're out. Chris Foster had awful form all season and only got to 11 DV and he's just not worth keeping anymore. Everyone raised and I got no decrease so I should be happy but I'm obviously disappointed with the lack of visible raises (only 6). None of my forwards visibly raised and they were all 13/14. Cletus Blessed was on 16 and didn't raise and Horace Biggins was on 15 and didn't raise. They played most of the games (Blessed played nearly all of them) and kept good form all season, there's no way I could've got them any higher. Unfair. Still, it gives me something to do before next season starts!

--- Well I still think Tales is mafia as I know I'm town, which means Animal is town too in my eyes. If Sheikah is mafia too, then it's a standard mafia play as Sheikah was leaning hard on lynching Jonnas while Tales was against it. Classic ploy to get a townie lynched and make them both look good if you play it right.

I didn't consider it to be a roleblock at all, I just assumed I couldn't target Yvonne because he was dead. Now that you point it out, it does look like I could've been roleblocked. Because I was still under the impression that I was only redirected and not roleblocked, I needed it clearing up. You've done that for me now though. I sent my target way before you if that's the case. If you remember I was REDIRECTED to Yvonne, so it isn't a case of which of us has priority over the other because I didn't end up targeting you at all.

Increase of 10 and no reductions but disappointing on the whole... bit of pruning for me to do before next season I think!

What lapse? If you're going to paraphrase what I've already said in the thread, at least get it right =\ I originally said I was redirected to Yvonne (with no mention of a roleblock) because that's what my PM says. I have since been told by Jimbob that I was roleblocked and that's what I said in my last post. I am still waiting to hear back from him so I really don't know if I was redirected or roleblocked or both. There's been no lapse at all except for in your own memory. Of course, without me defending myself, who would bother to check the actual facts? Let's just dump on Peeps because he's easiest to get lynched.

Is it going to be your only car? As boring as it may be, you'd have to go for practicality really.
