I thought Resident Evil VII received excellent reviews with comments that it had returned to its roots?

More games to the backlog. I'm really interested in Cities:Skylines. I loved Sim City as a kid.

I've never played a DQ game but this looks good. I do have both VII and VIII in their wrappers though. I ought to have a go at them.

Completely agree. Nothing will beat the initial experience in D1 though. Obtaining purple drops, experiencing the first ever raid. I wish they revamped D2 more so it feels fresh.

I am amazed by this also. Either it keeps selling big numbers or it doesn't take many units sold to be in the top 3 or so.

I had a go at this with @lostmario yesterday evening. The game looks very pretty and impressive. We had a go at the strike and ended up immediately tackling the boss. It was a pretty standard Destiny style bullet sponge. We then had a go at the strike again and this time we managed to start from the beginning. There was one big LOL moment - those cogs! My opinion is that its just Destiny. Nothing really further to say. After spending 100s of hours on the first one I am unsure whether to spend the time on what is essentially the same game. I am on the fence with this one. As its an online multiplayer, I would need to be in a group and play regularly to fully appreciate what the game will have to offer. After the effort of trying to create a regualar second group last time I may not bother.

I'm sure this game is more difficult than it was when I played it on my cousin's playstation. I have become close to snapping the pad on several occasions!

To be honest with Nintendo's track record lacking in the online arena together with the opinion that this app is worse than the voice chat options the xbox 360 provided then I don't have much hope that this app will offer what people are actually wanting.

I wanted to try this out. Is it only available to those that have preordered?

Until Dawn is a good game. I received it for xmas and really enjoyed it. Its a must download for those that have yet to play.

Just seen this, i'm really sorry to hear it. I do know (along with many others) exactly how you feel. Just over 2 years ago my then girlfriend of 2.5 years split up with me by text, never to see me again. I was in a dark place, a mess and needed a lot of support. Fortunately, I had a lot of support especially from close friends such as @Kav I thought I would never find anyone else. Two years later...i'm now engaged and have just booked our wedding for 27 April 2018!

Yeah there appears to be a game most years due to the remakes of the older games. Serebii's list seems to list the generational jumps so to speak.

Completely agree with this. Seems that Metroid hasn't been in development for very long which is shocking considering Retro hasn't been doing much since Tropical Freeze (assuming that Retro are developing) Where were the third parties? Where were the other games that are in development. No VC?

I definitely agree - PS4 + Switch for the ultimate experience. The majority of the games shown at that conference are either 2017 and 2018. Although safe it was a good conference. Game after game. What isn't there to like? I felt I was sharing the experience with the audience.

This!! I want to play a Monster Hunter that isn't based on the standard PS2 engine. I'm a bit bored playing what is essentially the same game everytime.
