  1. Has come as a bit of a surprise though. The initial X-men 3 figures were high in the first week, then slumped in the second. So, maybe it's just that everyone who wanted to see this saw it very, very early? But still, is this movie really that bad? I can't recall any of Aniston's movies ever doing this well.
  2. Wii Hardware Discussion

A summary would be very nice to help non-tech people out.
  3. Rate the last film you saw

I watched two good films the other day. X-men 3 and 1 hour Photo. 1 hour Photo was pretty good. Robin Williams is fantastically cast, and it's a shame that he doesn't get the chance to do more serious acting. A few people may be put off by this kind of movie, but i loved it. 8/10. X-men 3 was also good. I'm glad scott died because for some unknown reason i don't like him. Great ending, and good throughout. Some of the fights could've been longer, but we can't have everything. 8/10 as well.
  4. User Image Gallery

Hmm, true. Looks like your on your own with this one. :p Naah. Maybe somebody has got a picture of you at like a party or something. Like, a shot where you only had like a second or two to prepare for? Like, here's a piccy for my girlfriend and I in a restaurant. Crap quality tho. To jordan: In the name of Arnie: STOP WHINING.
  5. User Image Gallery

Try and get a shot of you taking without any preperation. Like, a spontaneous thing. Sometimes they come out really good and capture the real person.
  6. User Image Gallery

I think you need to post another pic, Ash. To clear things up a little.
  7. Growing long hair

Sayid for Lost, if you're wondering.
  8. The Official Big Brother 2006 Thread

When will they realise that Grace is the manipulative one?! *goes off to cool down*
  9. Suggestions

The idea is kinda like this: General discussion takes place in the Zelda thread. When official information is announced, the first post in the thread is updated. For example, if it was announced that the game would feature online features, someone would update the first page to feature this information. Or, seperate threads would be pretty good as well. Like, Zelda controls, Zelda characters, etc. I miss our discussions too. :'( I'll PM you my new email addy and you can add me to msn if you like.
  10. The Official Big Brother 2006 Thread

I'm really liking Richard and Glynn at the moment. I hope these guys stay in the house for a long, long time.
  11. Japanese Developers Talks Next-Gen Consoles

I can't believe the PS3 is still being applauded and supported for its direction. It's essentially the same step they took last generation, but with nicer visuals.
  12. Fuel to the Wii UK release date rumours

I agree with DCK. Even if this information is not exact, it's mostly what we can expect. Now, we just gotta wait for the Big N to give us final word.
  13. The Official Big Brother 2006 Thread

Did anyone else feel really sorry for Glyn last night? He was stuck in the middle of it all. The part that made me go awww was when Sezar and Richard were arguing and Glyn put his hand up and said "can i say something?" and got totally ignored. Poor guy.
  14. Responses to Time Magazine’s Nintendo article

The fact of the matter is that Nintendo are currently targeting non-gamers, and their strategy is proving to be very, very successful. This is evident in Japan sales, and it is also true for us Europeans as well.
  15. The Official Big Brother 2006 Thread

Nikki's funny. She talks with her hands and it always makes me laugh when girls do that. They should tape her hands to her back and see if she can talk then. Haha.
  16. Cons!

The SNES pad is fine. So, i'm not at all bothered with the shell. Maybe a little worried with the analogue placement, but that's all.
  17. Lost Prophets, Nu metal band

I'd say i've become the opposite since getting into music. I listen to way more genres of music now than i ever did before, and i think it's a good thing. It'll no doubt be different for every one, i guess.
  18. Lost Prophets, Nu metal band

No, i'm just curious as to how talented you are. You do seem to be very opinionated about your bands and types of music.
  19. The Official Big Brother 2006 Thread

I really hope Sezar goes. Lea (leah?) is quite a nice person, and Richard is pretty decent. I was a bit unsure about Richard, but i do think he's a nice guy. Sezar is just too cocky for his own good.
  20. Lost Prophets, Nu metal band

The Bard: Can you provide us with a recording of you playing your instruments?
  21. For our course night out, a few of us decided to dress up as pirates or sailors. I was a little disappointed that not many of us turned up that night, but that was due to a large fallout between mates. Still, my girlfriend, flatmates and other awesome folk provided enough entertainment! Great night out. Here i am, avec un mean pose: Next up is my mate Alistair. He dressed up as a sailor. Unfortunately, he's been super lazy this year and is not coming back next year, due to failing the majority of his assignments. I really wished he tried harder. Here is my best mate from my course. Her name is Cerys, and she's awesome. Despite her name, she is not Welsh. This is Cerys's flatmate, Steph. She's cool. We've really only started getting to know each other over the last few months, but she's awesome. We generally just talk about stuff like fun house or old children's tv. The moment you've all been waiting for...me and my girlie. Some of her know her name, but for those who don't, she's called Rebecca. She looks quite awesome in this picture. Great outfit, great woman. Another good one of me and becky. This is a fantastic picture of my flatmate Ben and Cerys. Ben looks absolutely amazing as a pirate, and he really put a lot of effort in. Awesome guy and a great friend. Plus, he only lives in Cardiff, so will be seeing him lots over the summer. I love this next picture. Here is my flatmate Maike on the right with Cerys. Maike is lovely and this is one of the only good pictures i have of her. Me and Cerys getting our leg over. There were 6 cameras on us at once, and this isn't one of the better ones. I'll replace this with a better pic when i find it. Another picture with Cerys (she's everyone, isn't she?!) and Alistair. A good shot of everyone. Well, almost everyone. Laura, who's taking the photos, isn't in these pictures. She's in a later one though. Hahaha, becky looks funny in this picture. We're all the way at the back of the bus when this shot was taken. Quite funny. Ben looks demented. Again, there was more than one camera shot when this was taken. Hence why we're all looking elsewhere. Still a good piccie though. We're now at the honeyclub which is in town. Quite a nice club. Another funny one. Becky looks pissed already, and i'm like "wtf" at the camera. Cerys looks fab in this one. Here is my flatmate Lauriane on the right, with Maike in the middle, and Marie on the left. Lauriane and Marie are french and are leaving for France next week. I'm really going to miss them. :'( This is Marie, Ollie and Maike. Marie looks lovely. I don't know Ollie that well, but i know that this picture makes him look good. Here's a nice one of Lauriane and Maike. I don't have many pics of these two, unfortunately. I'm so glad that this is a good shot though. Here's Ben and James. Coursemates. James is a lovely bloke and he's probably Ben's best mate on his course. Nothing needs to be said about this one. A great group shot of everyone (bar laura). This is my coursemate Claire, with Alistair. Finally, the elusive Laura is in this one. On the right, with her flatmates. Another one of Laura's housemates. This is Simmy, she's on my course. Not a great shot, but still, it shows she was there. That's it folks. Bearing in mind that this is all off the one camera. There were 7 of us with cameras, so there are lots more photos. I just hope you enjoy these photos. I sure as hell do.
  22. Angels & Airwaves - We Don't Need to Whisper

I understand what you're saying. But, music does not have to be complex to be enjoyable. When you said you could play the entire Blink catalogue in one day, does that make the music any less impressive? Some of us like to look for simplicity in our music. Take, for example, the YeahYeahYeahs. Drums, Guitar and Lyrics. Simple. But, there is professionalism. Brian Chase is an amazing drummer, and Nick (guitarist) is pretty damn good, himself. Music does not have to be complex to be enjoyed, and this is where bands like Tool just lose their edge with me. I can listen to their songs, i can appreciate them as 'art', but i just can't appreciate it as music as it's too complex, technical, and just generally not good listening.
  23. Favourite album ever!

This album > any other album released since. Anywhere.
  24. My Night as a Pirate (YARRRRRR) *56k warning

    Expect more pictures soon, people!
  25. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Spoilers Topic)

I don't think "gay" is an appropriate word to use there. :p Although Street Fighter 2 turbo was a great game, is wasn't the main reason people bought a snes. Mario Allstars, Super Mario World and many others probably helped a lot more.
