Bah I think I really need to kick mr soul mate to the kerb. He's doing me no good mentally even with the positive connection we have. Its just getting the courage to cut ties....

I kinda keep my groups of friends seperate regardless of internet or RL. Like I wouldn't mix my work friends with people I met through my sister, gym people, or people I've met online.
-
I can't keep the hair on my head, its all falling out in places due to my psoriasis, and always will. Strategic placement.

Any word at yeeeee or have you all given up for 2013 :P
The above insane session has resulted in two massive bruises on my hand, one at the bottom of thumb joint (side of hand) and one on the inner aspect of my index finger. Pow. Hurties. I reckon I must've clattered it with the 24kg kettlebell

Theres my profile. Its a website you log your weights/exercise/activity on. Tells you when you get PB's, gives you points for workouts, and you can get badges, achievements and all kinds of things.
I think a lot of people here might get a kick out of it, as its quite gaming orientated. It's motivating me to do a bit more just to kick my friends arses and get MOAR POINTS.

Anyone on fitocracy?

I dread the day when I end up having to buy a newer car and its all shit and complicated.... bluh.
My fathers car has an onboard computer that keeps firing error messages for NO REASON and every time he takes it in he gets charged ridiculous.com just to hook it up to the system to fix it.... The most complicated thing in my car is the electronic dash and electric windows o_o (which incidentally are starting to fail themselves) (edit: i've a 2001 toyota yaris)
-
I'm guilty of that too and my car is old and not complicated

I know right?
@Oxigen_Waste it always surprises me when men like chubby girls. Personally, I see that girl as regular size, perhaps a little larger than normal.
Perhaps the media has warped me..
That girl isn't overweight by any means, that's what used to be considered the "norm" until skinny waif models started to appear on the scene.
The pic flinky posted, THATS overweight. Yet I'm sure theres plenty of people who would find her attractive.

its a conspiracy so you eventually give up and pay Halfords to install them for you!!!!

Actually theres nothing like a good massage post workout, I gots me a serious case of DOMS in my shoulders... any volunteers?
-
Personal training today... Am dying my shoulders feel like they're hanging by a thread xD
Doing more snatch work, kb swings (20kg kb) and lots of clean and presses. Tried 40kg but the flick in the arms just wasn't happening. Could do 10x 40 kg yesterday but that was on a full tank, did a few reps of 20 then just went up to 40kg. Then did the snatch work, building up each section of the move before gluing it altogether. Did the swing part standing, then swing then squat, then the overhead press/squat part, then glued it together. Using a step as a baseline to where my squat needs to get down to is handy. Then if fluff up the squat I'm not going to fall far and hurt myself
10 minutes xtrainer
kettlebell 20kg swings x10
clean and press - oly bar 20kg x 10
kettlebell 10kg swing x 10
clean and press - oly bar 20kg x 10
(that was warm up)
Clean and press 25kg x 10
clean and press 30kg x 8
clean and press 35kg x 5
-attempted the 40kg but by this point my body was beginning to feel the wrath so I couldn't get the flick up to the shoulders bit at all -
clean and press 20kg to fail - 12 reps
(10kg barbell)
snatch swing x 10
snatch swing & squat x 10
squat barbell on shoulders x 10
squat barbell raised x 10 - my shoulder were beginning to cry by this point
full snatch into press x 5 (incorporating all of the above in one seamless move)

ARGH my snapping hip has come back -_-
I did a very ungraceful ninja slide out of my car in the ice, probably pulled a muscle It only started hurting today (the first time I've done any weights). Did an ITB stretch there and it SEEMS to have helped it, got all me digits crossed that it stays away

I personally think getting into a good exercise habit does more good than anything. Ever since I've been regularly going to the gym, and strengthening my body (especially my shoulders and core) I feel SO MUCH BETTER. I have a VERY sedentary job... but I have literally no back pain because my muscles support my posture so much better. Massaging may work but its very likely to be a temporary effect, and require maintenance for as long as you have the problem/lifestyle.

Hmmm
Preference to a guy being at least my height (5ft10) although I have gone out with guys shorter than me. I seem to have a thing for the dark hair/ginger beard combo. (not sure why?) Recently with my interest in bodybuilding growing, I have become interested/appreciative in muscly men, but I do think they need to have a bit of body fat too (the REALLY muscly REALLY low BF competitive look ain't my thing, plus a guy needs to like food as much as I do )
Most of my attraction is in personality... They could have ALL of the above and if I don't connect with them it's a pointless exercise.

I no longer work there and you can no longer pre-order Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training.
