What about the sound? I dont think there is an speaker in there. So you would have to bring a small speaker-system. And there dosn't seem to be an audio-out in there screens we have seen. Any thougts on this? The Square-Enix quote is very interesting. It seems is has to be something that does it portable.

I definitely think Nintendo has come up with some hardware that delivers more power for less money. Not that it will be more powerfull than X360 or PS3, but i belive it will show better graphics than we expect from the raw specs.

It is still a Cube title, so i think it will come out some weeks before revo-launch. Or else there is no reason to keep it as a Cube title. -
Ok, let's hope we will get som revo-info at GDC. It just seems like Nintendo keep pushing it ... i guess they are waiting for Sony to reveal their plans. BigTac -> Do you have any idea of what Reggie ment by this: "With the free-hand controller that we've shown, there will be an unparalleled level of play"?
-
In a interview with IGN, Reggie said that alot of info will come at E3, not GDC. http://media.revolution.ign.com/articles/689/689186/vids_1.html (It's only the interview with Matt they talk about games, the other interview isn't really worth seeing) So GDC will probably be about DS and maybe some Zelda. Btw. i have comment to the games list. Isn't Nibris the publisher of Raid over the river?

From the blog: He also says that the third feature has been developed with ATI. Strange, since it has something to do with the controller.

Wow Winning Eleven!! Even better than Silent Hill. I have really missed playing a good soccer game on the Cube. Does anyone remember what Kojima and Ubisoft said to the Magazines?

The Nintendo Revolution is going to be called the Horizon?
colormonkey replied to s3k's topic in Nintendo Gaming
This logo is better than the Revolution-logo shown at E3. The z-part looks good, could look like something Nintendo would make. But the Horizon-text looks very cheap. -
I have tried to make a list of the games we have heard of. Did i forget any? Ubisoft (2-3 launch titles) 1. Splinter Cell 4 2. Killing Day 3. Free Radical Project 4. TNMT 5. Brothers in Arms 6. N/A (FPS) - Exclusive 7. N/A - Exclusive (if No End Soon is real it could be title nr. 8 ... agree?) Sega 8. Sonic 9. N/A "Unique/different" - Exclusive (?) Nintendo (3-5 launch titles) 10. Metroid Prime 3 (launch) 11. Mario 12. SMBM (launch) 13. New IP 14. Animal Crossing 15. Zelda 16. Zelda TP (not confirmed, launch) 17. Kid Icarus (not confirmed?) Capcom 18. Like you said Liverpool has signed Daniel Agger for around 6£. That is the biggest sale from a danish club ever. Many says he is the most talented defender ever from Denmark. Overall biggest since Michael Laudrup. So here ind Denmark we are expecting a lot from him ...
-
He's been around for a long time and seems real. Many people questioned him at the start, but i guess we are beyond that now

What do you mean? Yes it has proven many things, and in many ways science has proven that the bible is correct. But science says so many different things so i guess that someone else would say it has proven it wrong. Yeah, but most of it is to be taken literarly. It's quite clear about demons and the whole spiritual world.

-> The fish. 3 weeks ago he said this: I don't know the name but developers have told me the Nintendo made the final decision on the name and they know it as well. And on the topic of something being leaked I just said that because I really think real info will leak out out soon. I'm thinking if normal controller shell has to have the remote inserted, wouldn't it get really heavy ...
-
Well it is very hard for science to explain something that isn't made of atoms, but is a spirit. The bible explanation of this, is that it has to be a demon. I guess that dosn't calm you down, but it won't hurt you unless you let it. So the best thing is to just ignore it ... Often demons is found near things that has a relation to the spritual world. Like books with supernatural content. It's like they need someone to open the door or have a reason to be there ...

Attending E3, visiting Ubisoft and EA ... busy? Some of us would call it vacation

I have an old joypad which is tilt sensitive. (Microsoft Sidewinde pro) But it is VERY difficult to use in racing games and such. It is difficult to make a sharp turn or keep it steady. So im hoping the rev-controller will do it a lot better.

Touch me baby! Or touch the Revolution controller!
colormonkey replied to Gaijin von Snikbah's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I have heard that the controller isn't hard plastic at the lower side, but feels soft, that sounds really good. Has anyone else read this? -
According to IGN it is not gonna happen. Nintendo may opt to change a couple of bits here and there, but developers have solid information about this console's power and you're not going to see a drastic transformation -- that is, unless it's delayed from 2006 to 2007 or 2008. IBM and ATI have been working on the CPU and GPU respectively and Nintendo has already briefed dozens of studios on what to expect. It's always possible that Nintendo may at the eleventh hour decide to alter something -- maybe add some more RAM, for example. Microsoft did it, right? 360 was originally set to include 256MBs of RAM and it wasn't until late in the game that Microsoft decided to go with 512MBs. A developer buddy of mine tells me that their group went out that very night and got plastered in celebration of the news. I think the revolution will do just fine with these specs, have to remember the more power it has available when outputing in standard definition.

But why has it suddenly x and y buttons? We havn't seen officiel images from Nintendo with that layout. So it must be the ductch-mans imagination .... -

Did any of you notice that this article says the secret yet to be revealed is something about the controller? Thats news to me. I wonder if he's assuming this or knows it ... What could it be? I'm expecting more than just a microphone ... -
Well they have announced that we will get more information this year. I guess thats why many of us hoped for dec. 2nd. Didn't they say we will know the name by the end of year?

Oh yeah right ... i forgot, and used the danish word for vector.

I made this Illustrator drawing of Mario a while ago. It took me VERY long time, but i learned a lot about Illustrators mesh tool (does someone here work in Illustrator). I'm pretty happy for the result, except the ear What do you think? Mario
