  1. i've read some indie developers interview on the penny-arcade forums they loved it imagine eternal darkness, when you go insane, the controller gets inverted and stuff personally i loveit, just thinking of whats possible with this thing, and they have people paid to do just that
  2. yes it is. the gyration is to do with gba games like yoshis gravitation the rev controller des not work on gyros, it has sensors inside the controller, which are picked up by other sensors by the tv, and that gives everything from up,down left right to forwards and backwards (triangulation of the 3) AND tilting of the device and like the DS's touch pad, its been about but never implemented in such a way
  3. and thats on gamespots SW's. the biggest congregation of fanboys on the internet, if it got a landslide win there...
  4. according to this poll, 90% of gamers like nintendos move (yes i know we are all nintendo fans here) and wheres trisha btw? anybody seen her troll ass?
  5. when have nintendo ever made an uncomfortable controller (hell even the nes is ok due to the d-pad and only 2 buttons) and shyguy is spot on, people are talking about how this will effect games, not so much how the games will look (although some still won't buy it if they are 'inferior'
  6. heh, you read little gamers?
  7. yeah and tycho at penny-arcade, i thought they wer ebetter then that i'm not saying they should likie it, but he just dissmissed it out right
  8. white will go with all my apple gear quite nicely in my uni flat
  9. not sure about sales and image, thats down to marketing, and if they are aggressive form day one, and get it into peoples heads just what the thing does, they could do very well for themselves. i was always going to take this with a pinch of salt, for one, the design is not finalised, but the idea is amazing. this is just an example/possible use of the controller, and how it could get me and my dad playing together; golf now, if these sensors are in every point, so it can detect every twist and turn, imagine how cool that'd be playing golf? (and yes i do play, don't bash it:P) you could play any course, and while its still not like the real thing, it'll be close, and it would replicate your swing exactly. there could of course be other options, from the swing determining the direction and power, to just flicking it in your hand while laying down. and you could do it anyday, any time, without the walking (WOO) this is just off the top of my head, think what a full dev team could do in games i think nintendo have done themselves good this time, a little bit of work, get the thing out there and the devs working, it could really do something new and exciting for games (and for anybody interested, what do you think of the golf idea? )
