I'll definitely be watching tomorrow night. I've been looking forward to the new series since the second series ended. Really can't wait to see what they have instore for this season. I've kept myself away from any info on the new season so I've had nothing spoiled (something that didn't happen with season 2 as I stumbled into a topic on another forum where it was being discussed and they didn't put a spoiler warning. My fault really). Won't be watching the second episode on BBC 3 cause if I do, I'll have nothing to watch the week after (smart logic )

Anyone know when the Japanese conference starts time wise on Thursday? If it's 9am Japan time (midnight UK) then I'll probably stay up. Although the last time I stayed up for one of Nintendo's conference's in Japan was when they revealed the Wii-mote and I was up at 3/4 in the morning getting the news in about it. If it's later than that, and I think it is, then I'll just wait till I get up in the morning and find out. -
good good. Won't be getting it from Play.com unless the get it in stock pretty soonish. I may just hold out till they get it in stock again to get it for £17.99 but then £29.99 isn't that bad a price for the game by the looks of it. I've spent more on worse games than that.

^ That's the one. I was trying to remember the name of the other band with a similar style of music but had a female singer and it was M-People. They were good as well. Need to look out their stuff. Think I have albums for both Lighthouse Family and M-People down stairs (my mothers CDs).

Watched some footage of this and I've decided I'll pick this up instead of Wario Land, which I hope to get at a later date. It just looked more fun than WL. Can you turn off the timers or is there a free roam section where you can just mess about? If not it doesn't matter.

Been going back into my archives of music and have recently (and currently still am) listening to a bit of Lighthouse Family, in particular Ocean Drive. Very good music. Nice for just chilling out to. I need to get hold of their greatest hits album.

^ And with the recent price cuts in the 360, Sony'll be at the bottom for a little longer. If those price cuts hadn't have come, the PS3 would probably be selling more units by now. I expect that the 360 may begin catching the Wii now because of it's lower price tag. But well done to Nintendo.

I really shouldn't get my hopes up but I really do hope that it is Kid Icarus. The fact that the franchise was abandoned up until Pit appeared in Brawl was shocking as Kid Icarus could be a great franchise for Nintendo to go with now on the Wii. Although I can see people will complain that it'll be 'too similar to Zelda' if it gets announced. -

I'm confused. There doesn't seem to be an option for 'No one'. Yes, that's right. I shan't be wasting my time voting in the next election or any election for that matter (there's an up-and-coming by election in my town taking place soon because our MP died). I honestly don't believe that any of the political parties are suitable for making the country better than it is and improving on the areas that need to be improved. All I see is a lot of talk and false promises. So yeh, I won't be voting. Always thought about seeing if I could get my name on the ballet paper to see how many people would vote for me. I'm sure it can't be too hard to do -
Had two lectures, nicely spaced out with a two hour break within which I had absolutely nothing to do. No work, no reading. So I tried to spend the time in town but only managed an hour and 20. Both lectures were ok. Just a pretty bog standard day really.

So even more rumors are appearing about this conference now. Gamekyo is reporting that Nintendo are set to reveal a new title that everybody has been waiting for and it's supposedly a resurrection of a classic Nintendo franchise. Not the first time this has been stated but it could be true this time. With all the rumblings over Kid Icarus earlier in the year, I hope it's that. But we'll have to wait and see. -
Thanks guys. I would like to get both but obviously, I only have the funds to get one at this moment in time (still trying to find a job that sits in with my Uni schedule). I'll give it a little more pondering and a bit of viewing on the interweb and decide later on.

The rest of my day after my banking fiasci has been pretty good. Just chilled, watched a bit of season 2 of The Dudesons and I'm currently chilling listening to some Lighthouse Family.

Would those that have this and Wario Land say this has more lasting appeal than Wario Land? At this moment in time, I can only afford the one game out of the two and want something with a bit more lasting appeal.

^ The US economy affects the whole world because many world banks borrow money from each other. And because of big banks in the US going under, banks around the world are being tight fisted about lending money. That's basically the jist of why it affects us. There are other reasons as well but I can't remember them.

Just got off of the phone with them. Apparently, my documents are being sent separately from the letter they sent me and I should give it until the end of the week for them to appear (which means that if they hadn't have put them in the mail yet, they now have to seeing as they have told me they have been sent separately). As far as a reason as to why my application was declined, the lady couldn't say because nothing was coming up on the system. She said that it could just have been a computer decision to not give me the account. So my mother got on the phone for Lloyd's and they said that it's probably been declined because I have no previous credit rating or bank account so they have no credit history to check on. So I'll be off to Lloyd's later on to sort out an account there.

^ I know it's not their fault. Probably won't bother phoning. I'll just in contact to find out where my documents are and why they haven't been sent back and then tell them to shove their account up their arses before getting an account elsewhere. I wouldn't call up somewhere and go ape shit on someone who wasn't directly involved in the thing. It's just bloody annoying that it took them so long to send me any information on the matter. Also need to get on the phone to SAAS and find out where the hell my tuition funding is or what's happening about it. I contacted them awhile back about it and haven't got a reply. Luckily, I have until the 1st of December to pay my University tuition fees.

The only think I'm hopefuly for is Kid Icarus Wii turning up. If it does, I'll be happy. If it doesn't, it doesn't matter as it may turn up later on. Realistically though, I don't expect much in the way of big game announcements. As Serebii said, it'll probably be pie charts and Wii music with a dash of Animal Crossing. -
Well today has just nose-dived in terms of how it was going. It was going ok until I got home from Uni. Have been waiting for my banking stuff from NatWest and there was a letter from them waiting at home. So I opened it only to find that they have rejected my application for a student account (they wrote NatWest Current Account on the letter which makes me think that they have not sorted out my information properly). I don't have bad credit (I've never had a job so there is no way I could have bad credit) and neither do any of my family. I am at University studying and they would have found that out by checking with UCAS. So why in the hell have they rejected my application? And they didn't send back my birth certificate and letter of confirmation from my University, which I believe they have no right to do as the documents are mine. I'm gonna have to get on the phone to them but I know that I'm going to a) be on there for ages trying to sort it out and b) go absolutely ape shit at whoever answers the phone over why the are with holding my documents. So yeh, I'm in a real happy mood right now.

My mix is now no longer an all riser. I just couldn't get one out of the music I had. I had about 5 or 6 songs which were acceptable for that kind of mix but that's not enough so I'll be keeping those songs but just mixing in some other bands. -
Had a listen to that Does It Offend You, Yeah? song that was posted and I quite liked it. What else am I listening to.... Got a bit of Rooney playing, some Rooster as well. And anything else I get my hands on.

Gamestation state that they won't be beaten on any trade-in price and will beat any if you can prove that somewhere will give you a better value for it. But they'll only beat it by £1.

^ I did what you were talking about, where I had a list of 30 or so songs and I've had to spend ages working on a decent mix. At the moment it's only 5 songs but I am looking through my library for the other 5/7 songs to complete my mix. It doesn't take overly long to do. It just requires dedication and if you love listening to music then there really should be no 'I don't have time' because the fact of the matter is that at some point you'll be listening to music. Anyways, I'm definitely in. I may be a bit late getting the mix out to people but I'm working on it as much as I can to make sure that I don't send it late. If it is late, I'll put in a little bonus to my mix in the form of an Uncommon cd for relatively unknown bands. I may put it in if I'm sending the mixes on time. I'll see how it goes. -
^ GAME won't give better trade-ins on those games compared with Gamestation. Trust me. I know Gamestation can be stingy when it comes to trade-ins but GAME is even worse.
