I'm immune to the hurling due to booze. In the many years I've been drinking (going back to parties at friend's houses at 14/15) I've 1) never been drunk and 2) never thrown up because of drink. And I must say that when I do drink, I drink ALOT. Worst I've had was tipsy once. Anyway, my day so far has consisted of doing two computer based assessments for my biology modules at Uni which I got 100% in both and reading the second act of King Lear. I'm contemplating just leaving King Lear as it's too bloody long. Also spent an hour on the third level of de Blob. Controls and camera are starting to annoy me.

I no longer drink fizzy drinks, and haven't drunk one in months, but I know that there is a definite difference between Coke and Diet Coke. Obviously, Coke has a more caramelised flavour due to the sugar present whereas Diet Coke tastes like fizzy brown water with a slight Coke flavouring. Very distinct difference. But then I can tell the difference between DIet Coke and Pepsi Max even when they are in unmarked cups.

Mrs. Doubtfire Brilliant film. I've seen it so many times but it's still funny. 'It was the drink that killed him.' 'oh how horrible. He was an alcoholic?' 'No. He was run over by a Guinness truck.' Classic. Still as funny now as it was back then. 8/10

I hope they stick Baten Kaitos Origins on this. As it was never released in Europe it would be awesome to see it get a Wiimake release. Fingers crossed. Hell, even if they just put the first one on the Wii it would be awesome.

Bought my copy earlier today. Played out the first level which I made last 34mins. Controls aren't as great as I'd have imagined. The flicking of the 'mote to jump is kinda annoying. Would have been nice to have just had it on the A button.

My days been alright so far. Spent this morning finishing up season one of the OC and starting season 2 (28 episodes down, 60-something left to go). Went out and bought De Blob and had a little go. It's alright. Controls aren't that great though from my hands on. I then sat and read the first act of King Lear as I need to read it for Uni. I don't know how many people have read King Lear here but by christ it's bloody long. Took ages to read that first act.

^ $360 for a Pandora? I didn't think they'd be that expensive. A lot of potential though in the machine. Very powerful but I know it'll just end up being used to run emulators.

I must be the exception to this. Even with Uni started now, I'm posting more than I was. Not really had any creditable work to do so plenty of free time.

Urgh.... really not looking forward to seeing all of the Joker costumes this hallowe'en. I would like people to be a bit more varied and original but I doubt it'll happen. I was thinking of doing a Joker costume but then I would be the exact same as probably every other guy. hmmmm.... could do a Kiss costume. Just don't know where I'd get the platform boots to fit with the thing. Or a fruitf**ker costume.

I started playing video games when I was about 4 or something. As I got older, I started to play more but recently I've been playing less and less, although I've wanted to play more. Everyone has their reason for playing games. Mine has changed over the years from fun to a getaway from the horrible things I went through at high school. If I'm playing games now, it's mainly just to pass the time or for enjoyment. There are still times when I play to hide away form things, people, life. Urgh.... sounds so depressing thinking about it like that but it's all to do with things that have happened in my past.

This looks sharper than the first one and the graphics have been improved upon (even the above water ones on the boat). I enjoyed the first one but it would be nice to have some more freedom.

Today was good. Had my first english tutorial and realised I didn't need to read Twelfth Night for this week. It's for next week. Typical. Have to read King Lear now though. Also, was talking to a polish girl who's into body modification (piercings and stuff) and we started talking about tattoos. She had a sweet tribal ace tattoo on her wrist (I didn't scorn her for it seeing as we had only just met). But it was a very nice tattoo. Had a 3 hour lab practical using microscopes to look at headlice and other things. Was ok. Sooooooo awkward though. 5 people sitting at my bench, including me and the two sets of people on either side paired up to work together so I was stuck on my own. I didn't even see anyone I knew in the lab which sucked as I thought some of the people I knew would be doing the practical at the same time. Oh well.

The comment by Cammie is believed to be a mistake. It's believed she was supposed to say 'exclusive first person shooter' not 'exclusive first party shooter' but it doesn't mean that Nintendo are out of the picture in terms of publishing it. It is likely that HVS could become a second party development team with Conduit published by Nintendo.

So yesterday I sorted out my student account with Lloyds after the fiasco of last week where I was told I wasn't getting one from NatWest. So you can understand my disbelief when my mother hands me a letter this morning (it arrived yesterday and she 'forgot' to give me it) from NatWest saying that they have accepted my application for a student account and that it is now active and I should be able to pick up my card et al at my branch in a few days. What the hell? I now have to active accounts and really don't need both. With the NatWest one I'll get a student railcard, or at least I should do but they haven't asked for a photo so I don't know how that'll work, and with the Lloyds one I don't really get anything apart from a £20 for opening with them. However, I've already deposited money into my Lloyds account so I don't have a clue as to what to do. My parents said just to keep both but it just seems stupid and it could result in the accounts being terminated seeing as with both accounts I said I didn't have another account and so I'm probably breeching my terms and conditions on both.

Looked cool in the montage and with those screenshots, I get a very Rez-esque feel. And someone mentioned Burning Ranger.... I wonder what's happening with that. I remember Sega saying that a sequel was in the works for the Wii.

That's absolutely disgusting. There's no place for racism in school, or anywhere for that fact. But violence isn't the answer to sorting it out, although a swift kick to the balls would sort them out. Anyway, my days has be looooooooong. Sorted out my student bank account and then had to go to uni. Had a psychology experiment, tutorial and lecture. So it was all psychology today. Then I had my stupid buddy group thing. That's the last one as I've had enough of getting home at 7:45pm. So it's been an alright day, just too long.

^ trust me. Graphics whores/360 fanboys will always moan about Wii games regardless of how they look. Unless they are over saturated in brown then they don't care. Unless it has guns, they'll not try it. It's a shame that so many people are like this because they miss out on a hell of a lot of good games.

A lot of nice stuff shown for the Wii. Sin and Punishment 2 looks sweet. Lets hope that it gets a western release this time instead of one a few years down the line. Another Code looked nice as well. I enjoyed what I saw of the new Endless Ocean. Looks a bit sharper and looks to have more polish to the already good graphics. Not really fussed for Punch Out!!! I've never been a fan of boxing sims. And plenty of other good stuff shown that I don't know the names for as they appeared in Japanese. I still need to look through the DS stuff. Just a shame there was no Kid Icarus. Kinda hard to moan what with the amount of decent games shown btu all that noise and artwork for it couldn't have been over nothing. Argh....... I'm sure it'll appear at some point. But I'm happy with what was shown Wii wise. The storage solution was kinda a no brainer but Reggie had built it up to be something different. Perhaps there'll be something else announced later down the line. And I hope it doesn't just let you save onto the SD slot. It better let you stream/load stuff off it otherwise it's not much of a solution at all. -
These release's aren't under the banner 'Let's Tap.' This seems to be getting confused on quite a few news sites. The 'Let's Tap' title refers to a title being released by Sega for the Wii, which I believe is the game in the montage where you have to make the woman/girl pose in accordance to the pictures that appear at the bottom. These are getting released as the 'Play on Wii'. Just thought I'd let you know.

Just finished watching the first episode on BBC2. Very nice. Seems to be a bit darker this time round. Unfortunately I won't be watching on BBC3 because it then leaves next week with nothing to watch. But yeh, good start to this series. I hope it keeps up like this the whole way through.

Right, I've got my tracks and I'm just sorting out their order. What are people using to edit/minimalise the silence between tracks? edit: giving the mix a listen to now to see if the order is good. The mix is, to put it nicely, all over the place in terms of the music with there being 6 male fronted band songs and 6 female fronted band songs. But it's mainly a showing of what I listen to with a few lesser known bands thrown in so as to help possibly spike some interest in them. -

Was only at Uni for an hour for one lecture. Kinda takes the piss even though I did get a half fare on the trains. My sister finally reimbursed me with the money I'm owed so I'm contemplating going out and spending it. And to cap it off, I bought myself 2 Bounty bars. Haven't seen them in ages and they are sooooooo nice.

I wouldn't hold out for a new Ice Climber game as Nintendo stated awhile back that they felt after the NES game there was nowhere to take the series and that it was virtually perfect as it was. But I'm sure Nintendo could come up with something interesting if they did decide to do a new one for the Wii. And I'm surprised no one has mentioned Earthbound yet . It's been awhile since that has appeared and it has been heavily rumored like Kid Icarus.
