I am keen on expanding my entertainment centre and after buying a HDTV my next stop is a Surround sound system. The thing is I already have a very capable High def Samsung DVD recorder and have more than enough DVD players in my house (7 to be exact). So I was wondering if it is possible to buy a Surround sound system with just the speakers and the Subwoofer and without the DVD player included so I can just connect it to my existing player? PS. Is it possible to have the surround sound on when watching ordinary TV or SKY digital instead of only when watching a DVD.

Nothing is going to be fixed yet I was just wondering if I should swap the Nvidia for the ATI.

Actually it was this graphics card SORRY MY MISTAKE 256MB ATI Radeon® X600 HyperMemory graphics card EDIT: THIS IS THE CARD THEY WERE ORIGINALY GONNA GIVE ME BUT BECAUSE THEY WERE OUT OF STOCK I GOT THE NVIDIA 1 MENTIONED AT THE TOP.

If thats true Im swapping it ASAP it was only 256mb though

Why should that matter surely my card is an upgraged card? BTW I was getting a radeon 1600 (I think) but they had NONE in stock so they gave me this saying it was better

I was wondering If games like Elder Scrolls 4 will run well on my PC. If someone has extensive knowledge about graphics cards can you tell me how good these type of games (DOOM 3, Half Life 2 etc) will look on my existing GPU and if it needs updating. I have a Nvidia Geforce 7300 LE 512 memory Im not very good with GPU's and the ATI ones Im told are usually better?

I have exactly what you need. I have Aol silver and it works flawlessly with my DS, 2nd PC everything. Bought it at Comet only cost about £100 and its one of the highest performance modem/routers on the market. its the: NETGEAR Super Wireless ADSL Modem Router DG834GT its the newer version hence the GT. Essential for higher speeds and bigger ranges. Hopefully it works as well for you as it has for me. Highly rated. EDIT: comes with a 108mb usb adapter for Wireless internet on a 2nd PC

PS3's Graphics never really impressed me that much. So when people go on about it Im like SO WHAT. When Sony can recreate Finding Nemo graphics then I'll have a legitmate reason to spend £400+

I think that is Nintendo's plan. They don't want us to expect much from graphics (gameplay main focus) so when they do deliver because people weren't expecting much it will be a pleasant surprise.
