  1. But if someone else took a hit for the queen then they'd be out of the game.

Yes, but the write-up clearly states Yvonne chose not to kill whoever's the Queen, hence he apparently chose to not help the town as he left, the bugger. :heh:

Also, it now makes sense why he was so keen to figure out people's characters! I thought it was weird; I should've realised what he was up to, given that I tried the exact same thing back in the first Gentlemen's Mafia! :p (I love how Yvonne's role was basically exactly my role back then; I'm a bit gutted he succeeded so quickly when I laboured all the way to the end and still failed! :heh:)

  2. If Yvonne wasn't killed by the Mafia then that means the Mafia failed to kill.

This needs looking into. I am very much inclined to believe the mafia (by crazy happenstance, admittedly) chose to kill Yvonne; otherwise I believe Sveta would have just left the Court and we would have another mafia kill on our hands. (By the way, I love the reference to the first mafia where Angus's symbol was a small cross on his mask!)

Now, is this another Hunter's Chance situation where the Queen performs the kills and the other mafiosos take her place in the event that her life is attempted upon? I believe the write-up suggests it.

In related news, my theory on jayseven and his note: It seems to me Jonnas picks a player to leave a note from, and last night he picked jayseven, either by happenstance - or exactly because he knew he was going to remove him.

Now, if he didn't choose jayseven by random, what about the night before? Was Magnus Peterson perhaps the one with the fewest posts at that point?

If you've read The Grand Design, I wouldn't recommend it. It covers some interesting points, but it is outdated. If you haven't read The Grand Design, you should first read A Brief History of Time as a kind of 'introduction'.

It is a good read, but I wish I hadn't read The Grand Design before :(

Ah, that's too bad; I was considering reading that because I loved The Grand Design so much.

  4. WHOA, okay, I missed a lot.

I know very well that it looked like I was claiming protector, but who in their right mind would do that so early in the game

This is exactly why I did question you; it was such a weird way of phrasing it. I actually honestly didn't think "protector!" exactly because you're not daft enough (heh, I subconsciously capitalised daft :heh:) to give it away like that, hence I enquired as to what you were trying to say; I thought your power might have an unknown aspect to it that you were trying to confirm.

I would like to sayeth that I am saddened to see-eth a potential lynch on what is a half fair YET half shabby reasoning. Protect from negative abilities - I sayeth of thee FAIR.

That I jumped to answer Peepseth of being of innocence! I sayeth NAY!

I have answered truthfully all questions placed upon me, regardless of tag or nay. Sayeth now I also offered my second nights target, I have been most forthcoming and plead you to cease and desist such violent accusations.

OOOOHHHH-eth! One more thing! To be accused of a paper thing mafia tactic is but the most painful thing of all. Twere I mafia, my methods would be-eth more cunning than thas!

Hm, this is fair enough reasoning. My biggest worry right now is that you do come off as less active than I seem to remember. It may be because you've been out of the game for a while, though, so I am unsure whether to follow the lynch. My chronic lynch hesitance is still going strong. :heh:

    I'll Withdraw Vote for now.

As for Yvonne's question, I am indeed new and even unrelated to any old characters. As people have probably gathered, my character is based on my avatar: I am the Lawyer, Phillip Wright.

However, why he suddenly embarked on this line of enquiry leaves me a bit suspicious, especially considering he seems to have been less active than usual when town until focus was moved to him.

  5. Hmmm, this seems awfully strange. Is there any such thing as somebody who can blind someone from seeing someone be targeted? Maybe the person who blinded you did exactly that, @Fierce_LiNk. We already established that the swordsman was the roleblocker but there was a person who also blinded you...

Hang on, who did what again?

Flink, did you not say that it was the swordsman who blinded you?

  6. The little people on the bottom right signing all the way. :blank:

It's not short attention spans messing with reading subtitles. It's that you miss the action when focusing on the subtitles. Well that's how it works for me. I could quickly read the line then look up at whatever's happening, but I feel like I'm missing out as I prefer to follow the words as they're being said to understand the emotion.

    Dub that shit for me.

Again, this is such a strange thing for a Dane to read, considering all movies ever are subbed for us. :heh:

  7. This is what I mean. It SOUNDS Mafia but I'm pretty sure Flink is town.

Ah, fair enough. As I said, it's very inconclusive; a split vote might also be beneficial for the town, and most powers can be used for good and evil.

I'm fairly sure this was said well ages ago! As for the rest of the current discussion, I'm too lost to partake so...I shan't!

Wait, you understood that, but can't keep up with this? :heh:
