Well you can't really blame Marvel for trying to cash in on the movie. As long as Brubaker is writing it I'll be picking it up They're doing the same thing with Thor this month. Still no Image books from last week at my LCS!! Need to wait till this Wednesday now.

holy shit Batman Inc #4 is out next week! No more quarterly (for now!) And vol 6 HC of Invincible as well (oh and the yanks get 78 a week after us )

so Invincible did come out this week (Yay!) good issue, nice game-changer at the end, but apart from that not much happened

at half time Diouf apparently tripped Scott Brown then started with the verbals as he passed the bench, stupidly he never saw who he was abusing and when he saw it was big Mjallby he hid behind Bartley with regards to McCoist and Lennon on the early Sky Sports News reports they had audio where you hear Lennon say "now that's not on" before he goes for McCoist who then proceeds to shirk away after Thompson (of all people) pulls Lennon away

Rangers didn't come to play football tonight, they came to kick us off the park because they knew any suspension wouldn't affect the league. It says it all when their first shot on target came in the 94th minute of the game.

I've been reading it in the oversized Hardcovers which cover 3 trades each, so makes for better value for money, and doesn't mess up my shelf by changing from Image to Icon halfway along Y: The Last Man has a good start, great middle, poor end in my opinion. Just felt like the ending was a bit weak compared to the rest of the book. Still very good overall though Oh another Image book that I've been reading is Sweets by Kody Chamberlain, it's a crime story set in New Orleans about a serial killer who always leaves sweets behind (ironic title eh?). Think it's 1 issue away from ending as well but I'd recommend it

Can't believe I forgot Morning Glories, yeah I read that, it's one of my most looked forward to comics of the month at the moment. I pick up most of Nick Spencer's stuff ============ oh and some comic related TV News Bendis and Oeming's creator owned series "Powers" has been greenlit for a pilot link here It's a comic that would work really well in a TV format, so hopefully Fox don't fuck it up!

with Image I'm more likely to give random books a try Who Is Jake Ellis? is only a couple of issues old and it's been good so far. Infinite Vacation which has only had 1 issue so far was also good Bulletproof Coffin which was a miniseries that recently finished which was weird but good plus there's the ongoing fare that I get of: Mice Templar (love Oeming, even though he's not on the art any more) Proof (now being done in mini-series runs) Chew Savage Dragon (and any side projects that Larsen does, look out for Herculian this week) Cowboy Ninja Viking (this seems to be on hiatus for now) and all the Kirkman books

I've been reading Legacies, mainly to get a background on the DC Universe. It's been a really good series, and made me want to try and get a few of the older stories that have came up in the series ==== Final issue of Joe the Barbarian comes out this week. Damn weird book from Grant Morrison (goes without saying) but it's been great and I can't wait to see how it's going to end
