I would prefer Smash Bros a lot more than Mario Kart. I'm really not happy about this news as I was hoping to see Smash in 2007.

They could also do a prequel, with you playing as Mithos, Kratos and the others. But I'm guessing it's going to be another game in the Tales series, not directly connected to Symphonia.

Tales of Symphonia is one of my favourite games on GameCube. I would love a sequel and would definitely get it. Also there's a game coming for Wii called Sword of Legendia, which is supposed to be a spin-off of the Tales series. I hope this is another game, because that would mean we get 2 different games from the Tales series.

Indeed. I'm really hoping this will be true. Tales of Symphonia was one of my favourite games on the GameCube. As for the Nintendo franchise that will be returned from the dead. Kid Icarus anyone?

This game has just caught my interest. It's something I haven't seen done before and I'll have to see how it turns out.

Well the exterior of a castle, is most likely Dolua Castle, as the flag looks almost exactly like the flag in Fire Emblem 1. And I've seen some comparisons of the inside of the castle to Fire Emblem 1. And it seemed to be the Fire Emblem castle with the same logo's and all, and the throne room organized as it is in the background of the stage. I don't think it's from Kid Icarus.

That's most probably Dolua Castle's flag, the final stage of the first Fire Emblem for the NES. That was the Fire Emblem in which Marth starred. So he's most likely coming back.

This is going to be a great week of updates, if the first two are any indication. The part about characters being different could hint to some clones getting a new moveset, most likely Ganondorf.

It's still a rumour, it hasn't been confirmed yet. But it's extremely likely as Sakurai said he didn't want any clones anymore. And seeing that Roy was just put in Melee as an advertisement for the new Fire Emblem, his chances of being in again are not high. Add tpo that, the respective Fire Emblem game wasn't liked in Japan at all. I expect Young Link, Pichu, Dr Mario and maybe Falco are not returning as well. But I can't see Ganondorf not making the cut, he'll probably get a new moveset.

It hasn't been officially confirmed, they've just hinted it until now. They also said they were having some difficulties getting it lag-free. I still hope it goes online though.

As F-Zero has Samurai Goroh, I can see Ridley being an assistant as well. I wouldn't like that as he should be playable.

Looks like Wario's side-B is something like Yoshi's. Except he can lose the motorcycle. Mario seems to be holding it in that picture, I wonder if you can use it as an item? And the Wario Waft which a lot of people expected to be his Final Smash is just his down-B. I wonder what his final smash will be then? This was a really good week in updates, a lot of new stuff was shown. I hope next week will be good as well, to build up to E3. They have to have got some surprise for E3. I'm expecting Sonic to be announced.

I don't like what that THQ guy's saying. Why don't high-end core gamer titles belong on Wii? It seems like they're not taking it serious, could just be me though.

This update really shows that there seems to be no pattern to them, with Yoshi's song and stage confirmed and not Yoshi and then suddenly adding Zelda. So maybe new characters will come sooner than expected. On the subject of Sheik I can see them adding her as a new character as this Zelda is based on the Twilight Princess version.

The game is looking great, I like that exploration is still a big factor in the game as that's my favourite aspect of the Metroid series. I can't wait till it gets released here!

Zelda Just like Link, Zelda’s design has also changed. She has a slightly more subdued colour scheme. Her movement capabilities are not that good, but her magic adds power to her physical attacks. There’s a reason why her hands and feet glow, after all. This was a great update to start the week. Finally someone we haven't seen before, I wonder if she can still turn in to Sheik this time?

They're bringing Harvest Moon: Magical Melody to the Wii in Europe as well. It's coming in September. I'm looking forward to that one.

Yes, all the levels that have been shown on the site are just a main platform with one or two platforms above. But they have just shown 5 stages, and seeing that Melee had 29 I think there will be other types. The Mario Kart stage looks to be different than these as well, and so does the Fire Emblem stage.

A new Monkey Island definitely. I loved the first four games and the Wii controller seems perfectly fit for those kind of games. I would even like a compilation of the first four.

Same here, and with being hearing impaired I would probably be having difficulties understanding people. But I know others really want this feature so I hope Nintendo still adds this in the future. If it gets added I'll try it as well, but I don't expect to really use it a lot.
