The Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess
Zelda_Rulez replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
That was the second best boss of the game after Stallord, who was just a lot of fun to beat. -
No, the eyes are closer and Meta Knight is too wide to fit in there. It's not him.

The Subspace Army "The Subspace Emissary" storyline introduces a force of formless enemies called the Subspace Army. They are ruled by their commander, the Ancient Minister. The Ancient Minister. The enemy’s primary offensive strength is in creatures called the Primid. They come in many variations. Their objective is to cut apart the world and carry it into Subspace. They use what are called Subspace Bombs to do so. The Robotic Operating Buddies (R.O.B.s) on either side of the Subspace Bomb are needed to detonate the device. When a Subspace Bomb explodes, a section of the world gets excised and swallowed by Subspace. Kaboom! The stadium is engulfed! This is a new, never-before-seen form of aggression...but now is no time to stop and stare. Everyone, everywhere, is beginning to move against it.

I'm definitely getting Persona 3 when it gets released here. I already have Nocturne, DDS1 and DDS2 and I love the series.

Yeah I never got that as well. I got 2 fish in succession of each other, didn't even have to try. -
Forgot about him. :p

After all the good reviews and impressions for this game I caved in and pre-ordered it as well. I'm getting the PC version, because it should run fairly well on my PC.

Link: Special Moves The design for Link is taken from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, so his special moves have also been designed a bit differently. Side Special Move: Gale Boomerang Gale Boomerang! The Gale Boomerang deals damage when thrown at an enemy, but when it comes back, it also lightly pulls the foe’s body. Standard Special Move: Hero’s Bow The Hero’s Bow! It’s fast. Down Special Move: Bomb Are these bombs made by Barnes? Up Special Move: Spin Attack You can charge up the Spin Attack! Grab: Clawshot All this and the Clawshot, too! You can use the Clawshot to perform life-saving tether recoveries by aiming at available ledges. It was difficult to aim in the previous game, but this time it automatically flies to the closest ledge, so it should be pretty simple to use. Of course, it doesn't mean a thing if it can't reach its target... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well at least we get all the special moves in one update instead of only two. I bet they'll do that to all returning characters.

The Wii will have a world wide lead in a couple weeks if the trend continues. But Halo 3 could delay it for a bit. It's still inevitable though.
-
The achievements part sounds cool, but I wonder if they'll add more through WiiConnect 24. That'll add a lot to replay value.

It'll be great if you could choose the Phazon Suit.

Super Smash Bros Brawl v Super Mario Galaxy
Zelda_Rulez replied to MadDog's topic in Nintendo Gaming
SSBB for me, because I've had a lot of fun playing Melee with my friends. I'm sure it will be the same with Brawl. It's a really close one though because Galaxy will be amazing as well. -
Not until they announce a harddrive which I don't see happening anytime soon.
-
I'm not going to watch that. It'll be hard but I'll try not to get spoiled until I get the game.

Rumor Control - IGN's Nintendo Voice Chat

Good news about Prime 3. I'm expecting a 9.6 from them. The Animal Crossing part is a bit worrying. I was hoping that the game would have a lot more features and would really be a step up from the first ones. But they could be wrong too so... -
The ammo system grew on me during my replay. At first I barely used the other beams, but later on I started using the Light and Dark Beam a bit more. At first I only used the power beam which made every fight last for ages. I'm glad the ammo system is gone in part 3 though. Have fun on the first part, I've already played it start to finish about six times and I never get bored. It's truly the best game of last gen and up there with OOT IMO.

This game is a must-have for me. NoE have listed this game with a release date of 07/12/2007. Edit: The date has been confirmed today. http://www.nintendo-europe.com/NOE/en/GB/news/article.do?elementId=BlLKOnA-aopYvCsZRl2LihEbnZHEvl1c

Well, I'm not really surprised Toad isn't playable. I didn't care for him anyway. I hope Peach won't be as annoying as she was in Melee. :p
-
No, just Q4 2007 for now.
-
He could turn out to be the Pokemon trainer in a different costume, just like Daisy was in Melee.

Mine are: 1. Ridley - Metroid 2. Marth - Fire Emblem 3. Sonic 4. Megaman 5. Geno - Super Mario RPG

Yeah, and maybe some more characters will be able to use this technique this time, like Sheik with her whip maybe.
