I think that's pushing it a bit. Edit: after searching a bit, that could very well be the case. It sold about 2.45 million first day. http://news.filefront.com/current-halo-3-sales-figures/

I just looked (refreshed the main page) and one time it said 24/12 and the next time it said 16/11. Quick edit I suppose.
-
It says out on 24th of December now on NoE's site. I really hope this is a mistake.

Mario Galaxy could outsell Halo 3 in the long run and if it doesn't then we still have Wii Fit, which should do very big numbers.

This is a cool Final Smash, it looks super effective. :p

They could use the fishing pole, axe and bug catching net in their attacks.

G4TV has 'some really big news' tomorrow?

19th of October, I believe. Or was it changed again? This was added to their site today: -
I believe Sonic was the most requested third-party character and that was a different poll. I really like this update, Resetti is awesome. At first I thought he would be a playable character, as I only saw his name, but it's still good he's in. I wonder how many different lectures you can get. And about Diddy, I just don't like him. I find him a bit annoying.
-
I didn't mind it when playing in human form, I liked it especially in the 3rd temple boss battle. But it didn't fit at all in wolf form.
-
Maybe he'll have his guitar in a victory animation. Like Ganondorf had his sword in Melee.

Diddy Kong: Final Smash Rocketbarrel Barrage The weapons Diddy Kong wields are his Peanut Popgun and his Rocketbarrel Boost. His Final Smash makes superb use of both of these weapons! He has popguns in both hands! And his rocketbarrels are firing! He flies majestically through the sky! Wow! The controls make it feel like you’re flying with a rocket pack! It’s really fun. Tilt his body left and right to move. It’s a popgun barrage! Explosions everywhere! The Peanut Popgun fires straight down, so you change the peanut firing angles by tilting Diddy left to right. I strongly suggest mastering this. When the time runs out, the rocketbarrels explode! Plus, you can gobble up the peanuts that fall to the ground. Will you be enjoying some? No? Well, your opponents can eat the peanuts, too. So when your shots don’t hit, your opponents could end up recovering damage instead of taking it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Final Smash isn't very original, just a combination of two special attacks. It looks powerful though, but you have to make sure your opponents don't recover damage after the attack.

Confirmed by Sega:
-
Yeah, I hope that will finally be added as well. I think pre-Wii stars (basically everything added before the new privacy agreement) run out on the 1st of June 2008.

The NOE forums have closed down for new features to be added. There's a news article about it on NOE's site. http://www.nintendo-europe.com/NOE/en/GB/news/article.do?elementId=5OWvJBgv7nhltpYYUXq0HCjrUen3iiWh Especially this bit has me hoping for Stars->Wii points to finally be made possible.

I've seen the movie when I was really young, like 8 or 9. I didn't even know about Mario back then. I liked it back then, but I wonder what I'll think about it when I see it again, I don't remember much about it. The goomba's in the movie freak me out though.

It's an banana alien from Donkey Kong Jungle Climbers.
-
That doesn't really mean anything though. Wind Waker Link could just be a trophy as well. I don't think they'll add Wind Waker Link to be playable, I think it would be too similar to Link. Maybe a costume change could be possible.

Trophies What are trophies? These are solid objects that appear as prizes and offer explanations of characters! You can check out the poses and learn the backgrounds of a variety of characters. Characters in solid form, complete with explanations! You can view them from a variety of angles. Whirrrrrreeee... You’re going to get a lot of these, so we’ve added images of them to the list to make them easier to identify. You can arrange them by series. And you can line them all up. This can’t be outdoors, can it? Take a look at these, for example, if you want to learn more about a character you saw in the background in Smash. Or when your interest in a particular character’s back-story has been piqued, and you want to learn more about them. Having trophies that explain your characters is quite useful. And, in a bonus mode, you can even create something like this. Choose several trophies and place them however you like! You can even change the background. It’s all up to you. Since we’ve gone to the trouble of gathering all these universes together, I hope you’ll enjoy gaining a deeper understanding of these characters. It’s with that intent that we’re all working so hard. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Again a great update. I was hoping trophies would be back again and now they're confirmed. I liked collecting them a lot in Melee and they seem even more improved now. Maybe there are even more than in Melee. I like how you can see Snake hiding under the box. :p

L is real 2401.

He does look huge in that picture.

First trailer and a few screens here. It looks amazing. http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3163146

If he's in I know what I'm going to do to try to unlock him.

Well Tom Nook is in the background of the stage as well, and seeing that you can play with 4 of the same characters I don't see why that couldn't happen. Imagine playing with 4 K.K. Slider on Satuday night. :p You could name your town whatever you want in Animal Crossing so I guess they just chose this.
-
Yeah that icon is known since the stage got added, and since then we know there will be a character from Animal Crossing. So I'd say it's practically confirmed, every franchise which has a character has an icon. I'm guessing Tom Nook or K.K. Slider. Resetti could happen, but he would move really oddly being a mole and in the ground and all. Sakurai could pull that off though.
-
Yeah I think those have some good chances of making it in. Especially Sonic and Megaman. One other I believe could make it is someone from Castlevania like Simon Belmont. With yesterday's update we got Snake's icon as well. It's number 17, so it doesn't say anything about how many franchises will still be added, imagine if it was number 20. We now know there will be 18 with one still missing. Number 13 to be exact. But as that one's before the Ice Climbers it must be Mr. Game and Watch as that's the only veteran franchise left. And I don't believe they'll add a new franchise in the middle of the old ones.
