Wii Freeloader Thread - FAQ & Info in First Post
Zelda_Rulez replied to DiemetriX's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Same way, I guess. Try it or wait for some other people to try it -
Then I guess Samus could be a Mewtwo clone as well, or is it the other way around. :p

How is he a clone? Almost all of his moves are different.

Well I'm waiting for some impressions before I'm importing, that way I won't have spent a lot on something that doesn't work. But if it works I'll probably get the PAL version later on anyway and sell this one. -

Probably not, you'd have to make a new one. -

Importing Brawl is getting very tempting now, I'll wait for some impressions of this to decide what I'll do. -
There's another trophy for getting 5000 m total I believe, or did you get that one already.
-
Oh like that, then you should charge the smash a little less so that the bag still lands on the platform before the time runs out. After that double jumping throwing the bat up and B shouldn't be a problem. Try this but instead of using the bat, use my method at the end to smash it away, noticed I forgot the Down-A move in the air in my strategy. :p http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Afvwe9I9Ryc

Surely you know how to use an Up-Smash????
-
If Animal Crossing uses that, I'm not going to buy it. I don't want to pay to play a game online.
-
Just use Ganons Up-Smash until the time almost runs out and then double jump straight up and throw the bat up and immediately use his B attack. It really isn't that hard.
-
First of all there are no cheaty methods. Did you try this one already, should get you far enough I think and it doesn't need any bat drop combos:

Final Fantasy IX ( spoilers inside )

That final boss really came out of nowhere didn't you think? Made the ending of the game a bit weird IMO. -
If you're talking about the homerun contest, you can only unlock one stage and three trophies total from it. The easiest way to unlock the stage (get 400 meters with one character) is to use Ganondorf and use his Up-Smash until the time almost runs out, and then doublejump -> throw the bat up -> Warlock Punch (neutral B). I think that should go far enough to get the stage. You take the picture link by rightclicking and selecting copy imagelocation. Then you should get something like this: http://www.vgcats.com/comics/images/080211.jpg Then you put it in your post like this, without the stars: [img*]http://www.vgcats.com/comics/images/080211.jpg[/img*] Then you should see this:

What I do after the bat drop combos is called the reverse Warlock Punch. You grab the bat jump over the bag throw the bat up move left and use his standard B. (All from the right side of the bag of course) When the bat comes down it hits the bag into your standard B and makes it fly really far.
-
No, the best way to score high is to use Bat Drop combos. This involves jumping over the bag dropping the bat and then performing some kind of mid-air attack to keep the bag on it's place. Then catch the bat again, rinse and repeat and finally hit it away at the last possible moment. Add some L-Cancelling and mid-air catches, and you can get pretty high scores. Ganondorf's World Record is a little over 3000 meters. I could get there if I could squeeze one more bat drop combo in, but I haven't been able to yet.

It's going to be fun to try and get some great records in that mode, spent ages on it in Melee. Got 2563 meters with Ganondorf in Melee, probably won't be able to get that high (with one Ganon) in Brawl judging from that video.
-
They really could have done better than that.

I wasn't expecting to keep my fingers crossed for that June 6th date last week. :p

Final Fantasy IX ( spoilers inside )

That was my favourite part of the entire game, the music there was amazing. -
I'm already mad.

So instead of the HDD we're getting decompressing on the fly? That surely will solve all our storage issues.
-
I don't really mind to pay for DLC, but a subscription per game could be a bit expensive if a lot of games are using this. I don't think a lot of games will use this though, Monster Hunter 3 will probably be one of the first.

And we keep waiting for ever and ever and ever....
