I got mine yesterday with zelda. I had only seen anything in pics and movies on the internet. Both console and controller are very slick imo. I took my time to install it correctly and first created a Mii of myself, at the same time testing the controller. After that went succesfully, I inserted the wii sports disc ..... and heaven descended. Seriously, I thought myself to be with the hardcore side of gamers but I'm enjoying this game so much, my faith in nintendo's vision went from 100% to 200%. Imo, any reviewer that critizes the graphics should be shot as this was obviously not the main goal for the creators, and neither is it needed to look any different or *ahum* better. After playing about 2 hours I decided I had to go online, so as with my DS, it stumbled for the next hour getting my usb dongle to work with my norton anti-virus and the wii of course. It finally worked, software was updated and there was the shopping channel. Very pleased to see that I can simply use my visa card to buy points, and not have to go to the store to buy those points cards. I am tempted at the moment to download one, but I think I'll wait a couple of weeks to see if something more special comes around. A bit dissappointed that neither the weather or news channel seem available, but I'll guess it will have to grow. Long story short, it was so late already I decided to save zelda another day so I have the entire weekend to enjoy this gem. Nintendo rules in my book. Hail to the king.

Hehe, I got mine, shops in belgium kickstarted a day early. And I'm loving it. If played 3 hours of wii sports, it's really more fun than people state it is. I then lost some time messing with my usb dongle to connect to my wii, but it worked, the system updated, and I could enter the shop channel (weather and news channel showed nothing, guess that doesn't go live till tomorrow... that is today since 25 minutes ). Anyway, I haven't started zelda yet, gonna do that tomorrow night when I have more time to play during all of the weeking. WII RULES.

Well, I was gonna get 2 games, but with wiisports coming with the console (and it's not free imo, i was expecting something around 200-220 as a price), it will be wii sports and zelda for me at launch. Then I'll probably spend some money on a few vc titles, and after a week or so probably get another wii game, not sure either red steel or rayman, and the lastest call of duty movie looks really nice too.

I was under the impression that the 6kb memory was to store your Mii characters, as demonstrated at the 14-15 sept events.

I'm waiting, there's to many things that might not work right (console, wifi, wiimote, nunchuck, sensorbar), I like to be able to just return to a local store instead of having to send the entire pack back to the states. Games is something completly different, to bad about the regionlock, but I guess freeloader for Wii won't take that long.

hmm, no wifi/bluetooth, could there actually be a special event for europe with a wifi demonstration, maybe one of the Ubisoft france games???

I have a bad feeling about Iwata coming over... It's not because of a first launch because Reggie stated USA was the first, so for what? A apology for the delay to 2007?? a 2006 launch but with lesser games than the other terretories (because of unfinished translations)? I could live with lesser games, but 2007 would be like .... HELL. 3 more hours ....

I preorder a couple of weeks ago in a local gamestore chain here in Belgium, 3rd on the list. I was happy at first with the ps3 delay news, but now a small voice in my head is nintendo is going to do something similar, hopefully not so bad (like october US/Jap, december europe) but stil horrible for a real fan

Well, there is gonna be something a Leipzig that's for sure. Although the time seems perfect for launch details, the same thing was said before E3. It's strange though, when I saw the title of the nintendo conference at Leipzig "Wii prove our promise", I knew I had heard promise being said somewhere just a while ago in nintendo footage. After searching, it was George Harrison saying it at the start of his E3 presentation: "What we've given you today is a promise,..." . Either way, Leipzig may show some interesting stuff, who knows (and I'm crossing fingers), maybe Europe gets the Wii first. Of course , 32 player wifi f-zero Wii demonstration would be cool to :)

Definetly zelda for me, but besides that, I'm not sure. Prime 3 seems like must-have title (I loved the first two) but might be a big much to combine with zelda, I'll probably go for something lighter, maybe red steel or excitetruck, but that might completely change once the launch list is out.
