I'd love to see Smash getting delayed. And I want a reaction video of Serebii seeing that news :p Nah, I hope it gets released in November. That's why I got a Wii U, god damnit! Also...couldn't care less about Toad's fucking adventure. I hated those levels.

I never finished it. Stopped playing - I reckon - halfway through. Played it when I started university and kinda had other things going on then. I figured the game needed a lot more attention I could've given it, so I stopped.

I have the game. : peace: Can't wait to see how it looks. And this time I'll finish it!

Rogue Legacy is available now. 12.99€ but I guess there is a 20% PS+ discount (it wasn't advertised but I got it during checkout). 10.39€ for an amazing game! GO GET IT, peeps!
-
Why Friday? The game comes out tomorrow? I'll go get a copy tomorrow at Gamestop. And Amazon.de have listed it for tomorrow, as well.

Got the Sound Shapes Platinum today. Actually, I've gotten every single trophy for that game today. Those fucking Death Mode levels. Pure random shit.
-
Done. Great game. Give me the sequel.

Was there ever a Third Party Golden Age?
drahkon replied to Falcon_BlizZACK's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I have to agree partly, but I think that was more to the fact that I didn't use the internet as much as today. I usually went to a store and saw a game and was like: "Looks awesome, I need to have that." So I remember them a bit differently than games from today. It's kind of a "Yeah, I found that game and it is awesome - sensation" Most of those games were available either on PS2 or GC and most of those third party games were exclusives to either one (never owned an original Xbox, so I don't know anything about that). If I really think about it...the golden age might be now. However, you have to do - let's say - a bit of 'research' to identify great games. Games like CoD, Battlefield, AC are good games, but nothing I'd consider 'golden age material'. There are however some real gems (especially in the Indie "genre"). Looking at my gaming shelf I can see Bayonetta, Resonance of Fate, Dark Souls, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Kingdoms of Amalur, Darksiders, Vanquish, Bioshock...I'll stop now. 20-30 third party games that are (in my opinion) incredible. Well...now that I've thought a bit more about it...third party games have always been great -
Woooooot. I owned a couple of matches with hand guns. And you should've seen my mate. He owned pretty much every match with his scout rifle. The fusion rifles...they suck.

Think I'll finish it today (I may be 1 or 2 hours before the end).

The new anime and manga thread! [Use Spoiler Tags!]
drahkon replied to Shorty's topic in General Chit Chat
Only seen three episodes. It's interesting, though not a lot of stuff has happened and you get a lot of information about time travel and a bit of quantum physics thrown at you with no real detail or further explanation. Looking forward to more. It's also insanely funny -
You're missing out on a great game

Think I'll trade in Dragon's Dogma (PS+ gave me a free copy : peace:) and Watch Dogs (have done almost everything, but can't be bothered a bout two trophies) for the Gamestop offer. I'll get the game at no extra cost then.

No, and neither is Rogue Legacy :p It has some aspects of rogue-likes (duh): It's difficult and has permadeath. However, there's a twist to the latter. If you die, you start a new game with a progeny, keeping your gold/items found. You can spend gold to upgrade certain character classes, increase your HP/MP, etc, making each attempt a little easier, or rather a littler more manageable. The level is randomized every time you start a new game (unless you do something, but that's yours to find out).

Quick reminder that Rogue motherfucking Legacy is out in two days Buy it. Play it. Love it. Hate it. Cross buy and cross save (PSV, PS3 and PS4). : peace:
-
Sounds good. Maybe when my exams are over in October I'll give it a try. But that's the month when shits going down on the PS4 so...meh.
-
Problem is: Whenever I pay a subscription I kinda feel obligated to play so I don't socialize that much :p How much for a month? And can you just suspend the subscription any time and continue whenever you like (preferably with some kind of a 30 day code you can buy)?
-
Sorry. But you should just accept that you suck :p
-
Can you finish the game in that month and also do extra stuff? Let's say, if you play a maximum of 10 hours per week?
-
Well, I think the balancing was fine. If you have good aim, you win :p But I get your point. It's a problem with all shooters, though. I think, however, that there aren't a lot of weapon types. So far I've encountered only two types of e.g. auto-rifles: one with a 24 mag and one with a 48 mag. The latter one has a higher fire rate but shit recoil. The first one feels generally better. For me it's much easier to score with that one. I guess it's more situation-dependent. They should add some kind of quick load-out switch when you're dead/respawning. You can change your weapon anytime during a match, but you have to open your menu screen.
-
Oh my god, so cute And don't get me started on that dog. :p Seriously, your dog makes me smile.

In normal PvP the weapon stats and your level stats (or whatever they are called) don't play a role. The only thing that matters is your weapon type and since you can get one that suits your playstyle quite easily it shouldn't be a problem. Only in the Iron Banner events (at least in the beta, no idea if there will be more of that in the full game) are stats considered.
