  1. There was no way they'd miss the chance to make a sequel I still think the first game is overrated after playing it on Switch. I will, however, give it another go on PS5 somewhere down the line and see if the trophy hunt might change my mind. It already helped with a lot of games, so maybe Hades is one of those, as well.
  2. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

Fine, I'll give this game another go...
  3. Netflix

Still reading the books so I'll avoid the show for a while.
  4. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

Urgh, doesn't fill me with confidence that I will enjoy the games when/if I play them...
  5. Quick and dirty new thread for 2023. My first game of the year: Abzû Beautiful exploration game (similar to Journey - which is no surprise given it's from the same team). The music is exceptional, too. Highly recommended if you want to wind down and relax. And first Platinum of the year goes to: Seasons after Fall Enjoyed it, but it was a tad too long, in my opinion. Started playing Devil May Cry 4 in preparation for the sequel which I should be able to pick up next week. Also been playing Chasm on PSVita but man...it drags when you go for 100% completion. It's a pretty small Metroidvania, but even after a patch it received in 2020 which was supposed to improve backtracking, it's still tedious. This game will take me a while. Only playing 15-20 minutes per day (if at all) Waiting for my mate to pick up his copy of Far Cry 6 so we can indulge in some good old co-op gaming. Edit: Speaking of Far Cry 6. Did some stuff alone in order to unlock co-op and this happened:
  6. If you haven't played The Messenger, yet, GO AND PLAY THE MESSENGER Edit: Oh, and don't play The Artful Escape
  7. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

Zone 3 done with Aria. I'M A GOD AMONGST MEN and definitely didn't need heavy glass armor to tank 2 hits during the boss fight
  8. Source - PlayStation.Blog.Europe It's already out on PC and supposed to be very good. Always wanted a PS4/PSVita version so this news pleases me. The game came to my attention via The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Don't believe me? Watch this: I was watching some Isaac videos and came across The Beating of Isaac The song alone made me want to buy Crypt of the NecroDancer. I figured: "This has to come to Sony platforms at one point", so I waited. Great choice. : peace:
  9. 'ello! I'm looking for stand-up comedy specials to watch, so gimme your favs.
  10. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

Helpful hint: Don't play this co-op with a friend who's inept at keeping rhythm. Also: don't drink and dance.
  11. Balatro (PS, Xbox, Switch, Steam)

The experimental patch makes Orange and Gold Stake actually fun to play. I really enjoy the changes. However, one thing is annoying: The new stickers appear way too frequently. I hope it'll change once the update leaves the beta phase.
  12. I don't need to tell you that this game has taken over my gaming life This might become my new Slay the Spire, which means I will tell you a million times to buy and play it. SO BUY AND PLAY IT! Anyways, I spent 5 hours with Balatro last night and I got today off from work again... Managed to win a run with the first 5 decks and that unlocked Challenges (which add rules, restrictions, starting deck, etc.) - there are 20 but only 5 are available to me right now. The content this game provides is staggering. And the possibility for more exists, which excites me to no end Time to start a new run with Deck #6 Yes, I will post here from time to time and you will read it and you will enjoy it.
  13. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

You have seen my skills with bosses. I don't think it's as easy as you think it is
  14. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

Good job, Nintendo Man, you'd think once you've done Act 4 with Aria, the next one (i.e. Act 3) would be easier. BUT NO. It's just difficult in different ways.
  15. So...it's just like real life.
  16. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

Sadly, "drahkon" was already taken on PSN So I had to be "creative" Nah. Hate that boss, hate his song, hate moles.
  17. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

FUCK YEAH. Act 4 cleared with Aria. FUCK Fortissimole. Fought him only 3 times so far and I don't know shit about fuck. Thank goodness I had heavy glass armor to tank three hits FUCK Fortissimole. Pff, my name's not even on there.
  18. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

That was a decent run. Until I died for the first time. Then it was all downhill and you carried me Edit: I assume you leaving the session means it's the end? Perfect timing because I need to leave anyways!
  19. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

Well, that first boss fight was a disaster Edit: I hate myself
  20. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

Oh crap, I totally forgot. I could be online in about 20 minutes and have time for maybe an hour or so!
  21. Slay the Spire II (Early Access in 2025)

This is the best day of my life.
  22. Don't fuck with me, man. WHAT? Edit: Nevermind
  23. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

Eh, missing a beat is not the problem. I just get flustered whenever I get swarmed by enemies. I need to get their patterns ingrained in my memory.
  24. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

    Couldn't do it.
  25. Crypt of the NecroDancer (PC/PS4/PSVita)

And I struggle pretty badly But, the music is awesome! Gonna try to at least beat Act 4 with Aria today.
