Stand-up. I always considered "comedy specials" synonymous to "stand-up specials"
-
Just play it. It gets quite difficult but the way the narrative unfolds...it's worth it.
-
Unlocked Aria again. Now the real game begins
-
I think the changes are for the better. Just went from White Stake to Orange Stake and will now see how all the changes will affect the highest Stakes.

Soooo...I managed to... I also found out that you can skip certain scenes by holding "start" (or whatever that button is called on the Steam Deck). Sucks, though, because I missed some story beats Anyways, THE GAME IS WEIRD. The puzzles are great, though. New mechanics every few floors and they break my brain every single time without fail. I do wonder where the game is going. There's some odd things going on and I feel it's gonna get meta some time soon.

The game right now. Anybody playing/going to play in September? I know I will. Haven't seen much. Haven't read any reviews. I've seen the score aggregates, though. Seems to become one of the greatest! In "preparation", or rather in anticipation, I recently played through Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition and am currently playing the sequel. The former was a little disappointing (still good, though), but the latter improves upon pretty much everything - at least from what I've seen in the first 7 hours. Can't wait for BG3 to arrive. Already switched my work days for that week so I can dive in for 5 days straight Gonna be interesting to see whether the DnD rules/mechanics are hard to grasp. I've never been part of a group and don't know anything aside from "roll dice".

Currently waiting for a meeting on work so I checked the Balatro Discord to see if there are any news on the next update. Aaaaaaaand... It's out on the experimental branch on Steam Downloading now. Can't wait to see what changes it brings! Edit: Patch notes: Some pretty great changes to Stakes and Tags! Also love the buffs/nerfs to Jokers. Yeah, gonna test this version a lot today. I hope I can reach Gold Stake with a Deck to see whether higher Stakes are more balanced now.

Aaaaand Blue Stake with every Deck done

Same here...I'm making so many stupid mistakes... Anyways, just beat Act 4 with Cadence Looking at my trophy list, I see that I've finished an All Zones run with Cadence, Melody and Bard back in 2016 (!!!). Simpler times back then

Trying to beat Act 4 with Cadence and I'm getting my ass beat by My brain needs adjusting to the new situation. Well, not 100% new as I beat the game years ago, but it's still tough
-
Haven't played a Tekken game since Tekken 4, so I doubt I'll give this a go, but it does look nice
-
He did He also voiced King Boo in Super Mario Bros. Wonder Yup, it was added later. I don't know when, though
-
There's an option to have him as the Shopkeeper in-game. I sure as hell enabled it!

Thursday afternoon/evening should work. Remind me then Man, the music is just too good. Still one of my all-time favourite video game songs. Guess I gotta create a Crypt of the Necrodancer Spotify playlist again!
-
Tomorrow is a no-go for me, sorry. Will probably have time on Sunday, though
-
Eh, defo not going to play with randos. But I'd be up for some co-op with you
-
Hm, is it time to buy it for PS4 and get back into the groove? I think it is! Gonna start fresh and get ready to be wrecked
-
Ooooohhhhh, my best friends will have babies next week. I was just told that labor will be induced on Monday. I'm super excited for them, I'm also super nervous.
-
Black Deck cleared on Blue Stake High Card for the win So much for me waiting for the next patch before trying to clear Blue Stakes
-
Did you just "let me google/reddit that for you" me? But thanks, that's good to know

I beat Mega Man last night. He's too slippery Other than that: Good game. Lot of fun, fairly difficult, solid start to an apparently legendary series. I also started Mega Man 2 and the dude is still slippery, though not as much as in the first game. Will the third installment be the one where Mega Man stops in place when you let go of the directional buttons?
-
Looks really cool. I'll keep this on my radar.

Cleared quite a few more floors. I don't really understand how the difficulty works. Some floors are ridiculously easy (and I'm not talking about the ones that introduce a new enemy), some are pretty tough to solve. It seems very inconsistent. Anyways, second page of my notes: There's also some kind of plot going on (or maybe it's in the past?) but it doesn't have any impact on...anything, really. It's odd. VERY ODD GAME.

I've been playing Mega Man via the Mega Man Legacy Collection today...was Mega Man always this...floaty? He seems to slide before coming to a halt. Oh and will I consider every game in the collection as a separate entry in my gaming list? You bet your ass, I will (haven't had an entry in all of March...gotta crank those numbers up )
