Keep. Still got my original NES and GameBoy in their boxes, along with all the games.

The two main points you need to answer first are: What am I going to use it for? How much am I willing to spend? Also could you clarify if you are referring to a macbook, macbook air or macbook pro? My cousin recently asked this question, all she uses it for is web browsing and word processing. Convinced her to go with a £200-300 laptop thus saving her around £1000. If you plan on playing games, definitely get a windows machine. MacBooks don't even come close spec wise. Another idea if you plan on playing games is to get a (windows) laptop which has thunderbolt ports, then you could buy an external GPU enclosure and fit it with a beefy GPU. Then you could have a work laptop when out and about, plug it into your external GPU at home and have a decent gaming rig. This would cost more than buying a proper gaming laptop such as a MSI GL72 7QF 1007UK 17.3 Inch, but would allow you to carry a light and thin around with you, rather then something bulky. My problem with the entire Mac range is that they now use the same components that are in much cheaper laptops (cpu/ram/ssd's). Back when they used IBM CPUs over Intel/AMD you could make the argument as to why they were better for certain tasks, were as now that argument cant be used. I'm a spec-head and a "what can I get for my money" person. I've just compare the cheapest MacBook Pro 15" to a Razer Blade Stealth with extras: 15" MacBook Pro - £2,350 Razer Blade Stealth - £1,250 Razer Core - £500 Nvidia GTX 1060 - £200 2 24" Asus Monitors - £260 Razer Mouse - £65 Razer Keyboard - £75 TOTAL - £2350 Two things of note with the Razer build is that the Stealth has a screen seize of 12.5" and that I've taken the price of the Razer Core from the US website (which showed $500, so may or may not end up being a little cheaper). I like my PC games so I am very bias, but thought it would be a good to see what you can get for the same money. I also want someone to test out the whole external GPU thing as I'm thinking about going down this route

Where I work we have 4 Roberts and 6 Johns. The Roberts are all know as Rob, Bob, Bobby and Robert which everyone is happy with. With the Johns we just refer to them as 'Department Name' John or John 'Initial'. Two people with the same name shouldn't cause too much of an issue unless your name constantly gets shouted out in order to find out where you are. If people want to talk to you they'll come see you, if people need to refer to you when you're not in the same room they'll just use your surname.

Sorry if this has already been asked. Regarding the pro controller. Is it powered by batteries or is it rechargeable? If it is rechargeable, is it USB C? And also does it come with a recharge cable (I'd hope so for the £60 cost of it)? I'm really hyped about the Switch and all, but finding any kind of technical information is a bit of a pain. I had to go to a fan site to find out that the pro controller included NFC.

I've just had a quick look to see if a second dock is purchasable. The only place i can find one is on NOA's website for $90 (converts to £75). A quick search on Amazon and I found powered USB C to HDMI hubs for around £30. I'm not going to buy it, but I'd be interested in knowing if something like this would be compatible with the switch.

Got one preordered along with Zelda and a pro controller. Plus I'll probably end up buying FAST RMX and Bomberman. Although I'm not super impressed with the launch lineup, there appears to be enough to keep me occupied from month to month Zelda-Mario Kart-Rime-Splatoon2. I may even purchase Skyrim, as I think I might be one of the only people left on the planet who has never played it (or morrowind). I'm sure like many are, looking forward to Zelda. But i'm also excited to play Bomberman online. The last time I played Bomberman was on the SNES many years ago now and I can remember it being a fun game.

I cant believe how nervous I feel right now I'm going to sleep now, planning on getting up at 3:30, watching the presentation, then continually hitting F5 on multiple sites. Followed by a one and a half hour commute to work. Night all.

I finished watching this series a couple of nights ago and i absolutely loved it! My friends and family are still watching it and its killing me not being able to talk about it to them! So for people who have seen all of season 1... Contains HUGE spoilers for season 1, so don't click if you are still watching!

I do quite a bit of commuting and own an nvidia shield tablet. Every now and then when i fire up Portal or Borderlands i catch glimpses of people trying to work out what my device is, as i see them trying to take a peek at the back of the tablet which is covered by the case. Always makes me chuckle, especially when they own newer devices that cost around 3 times as much as my shield. I'm fully expecting either Nintendo or Nvidia to announce in the January update that the Switch is running off an updated X1 chip. I always found it odd that Nvidia were bigging up the X1 then all of a sudden going quiet. As i'm sure others have mentioned I hope Nintendo get the UI on the Switch right especially if theyre expecting it to replace peoples tablets for web browsing and media (assuming it has web browsing and media support). I wouldn't complain if they used a modded version of android, at least we then have access to a library of apps.

I'm currently trying to level up my pokemon as i have just completed the 4th island. My team is currently sat around level 60, what level should i be aiming for before starting the final trial? Is there anywhere is the game where I can get a Rocky Helmet?
-
Started playing Sun last night and oh man that entire first island is one big, long tutorial! Enjoying the game though, currently on the second island and my team is; A-Marowak, Togedemaru, Eevee, Dewpider, Crabrawler, Trumbeak Yes - I have dropped the starter. I chose Litten but i like the Fire/Ghost typing of A-Marowak. I got Togedemaru via a wondertrader.

I've just bought a New 3DS and a copy of Sun (LE Zelda 3DS, also bought Zelda LBW and Hyrule Warriors). I plan on starting Sun later but I havent played pokemon for a good few years so does anyone have any good advise for me starting out?
