Madpool 4-0 Mcoys Sons Madpool pulled off a riotous display against the normally tactically astute Sons side. Playing 4-5-1 against a 4-3-3 Sons side, Madpool dominated chances playing to their strengths. Quintal lost his marker and curled the ball in that youth midfielder Trainer headed home. Hiles teed up Carey who thumped a shot home to make it 2-0, Carey then set up another Trainer header to finish the game before half time. Quintal found Hadley with a set piece, Hadley volleyed in a shot that hit the post and went in to make it 4-0. Unbelievably every one of Madpools mid fielders had either scored or assisted a goal in this match. With 59% possession and 7 chances to 3 it was clear Madpool were deserved winners of this game. The Sons underperformed and were left licking their wounds after getting their tactics badly wrong. Madpool shoot to the top of the table and are looking good value for money. DuDs Baggies 0-0 Noodle Esporte Clube The Baggies are having a hard time keeping their momentum from last seasons shock 2nd place finish going. Noodle on the other hand will be pleased with an away point, both teams played 4-5-1. However Noodle created literally no chances while Baggies had 6 clear efforts on goal. Badderley up front by himself was unable to penetrate an impressive Noodle defense that frustrated him again and again. Noodle were awarded 3 yellow cards as their players tried to hold Baggies back sometimes literally. However it ended with Noodle gaining a deserved point, while Baggies midfield was better they did nothing with their extra chances. Silverdale Hotpot 2-4 Haden United Silverdale lost their first home game of the season in a dramatic clash with United who continue a strong start to the season. Silverdale played 4-3-3 while United went for 3-4-3, so it was no surprise this was a high scoring contest. Marconossi struck early with a low shot that pinged in off the post to put the visitors ahead, Riley found his way past Uniteds defense and leveled it with a close range shot. Youth striker Sbaccanti played the game of his life and deserved to be on the score sheet as he headed United back in the league before half time. However before half time, talisman from last season Durov was badly injured and will be out for Uniteds next game. United were furious with tackles aimed at them and rushed the referee when Marconossi was brought down in the penalty box. An angry Silverdale captain protested but the penalty was give, Marconossi punted down the middle for the win celebrating in the home fans end provocatively. 3 minutes later Silverdales star player Sidwell was brought down outside the box and curled home a ferocious free kick, the home fans had something to cheer about again. However United just had to many chances (6 to 3 for Silverdale) and Eveleens finished the game off with a goal from a corner kick. United are starting the season in style, while Silverdale are struggling to gain momentum. Dysonism F.C 2-0 Battlestar Odwinica In somehow the first game between these two sides, the current champions beat a youthful Odwinica side comfortably without demolishing them. Playing 3-5-2 against a Odwinica 4-4-2 Dysonism found themselves in trouble early. Stenholm was badly injured after 19 minutes and a defender had to come on to replace him as Dysonism had no midfielders left! Still Mclen blasted in a long range shot to settle Dysonism nerves before half time. The game was a quiet one with 5 chances to Dysonism and only 1 to Odwinica, Mclen struck again before the end to make it 2-0 and seal the game. Odwinica look to be picking targets to get points off and picking teams to develop youth with, this game was the latter. Dysonism will be happy but their lack of squad depth was exposed again. Most Important Result: Silverdale Hotpot 2-4 Haden United, United keep an impressive start going with an away victory against a struggling Silverdale. Turned on the Style Award: Madpool, simply sublime yet again in their midfield play. Player of the Day: Favio Sbaccanti, Haden United, showing he is developing into quite a striker with a good goal and assist.

Couple of questions. Is someone organising a 360 grand prix season for this? If so how many players can go at once? Also for someone who is awful at driving games (eg me) is this uber sim or more arcadey?

Madpools midfield will always always force saves! Haden United 3-0 Noodle Esporte Clube United got off to a perfect start at home against promoted Noodle. Noodle who have a good record against United never looked comfortable this time around, both teams played 4-4-2 but United made all the chances. What Noodle did do effectively in the first half is slow the tempo down and limit chances to only 2 making it 0-0 as half time occurred. However Eveleens carried on his good form from last season by tapping in the break through goal from a corner at 76 minutes. It took United until the 88th minute to put the game away as Weesle set up Marconossi to slot away a confidence boosting 1 on 1 goal. Durov curled one of his famous free kicks into the path of a running Eveleens who whacked it home to make it 3-0 in extra time. United were great in all areas it has to be said and have sent a warning shot to other teams. Noodle will want to forget this match, although they did develop some midfield youth which is a positive. Battlestar Odwinica 1-1 DuDs Baggies Odwinica vs Baggies was an interesting 1st game encounter for sure, they have an equal record against each other and both managers are highly respected. Odwinica was rocked by the retirements of two highly skilled defenders, the manager countered this by drafting in Grayson a high skilled older defender. Odwinica tried to play a balanced game using a 4-4-2 formation, while Baggies opted for 3-4-3 wanting to exploit uncertainty in Odwinicas defense. It was Odwinica that piled on the early pressure however, Baggies 3 man defense was unable to cope with an early attack and gave away a penalty. Bello who was so good last season for Odwinica stepped up to take it, it pinged off the post and was hacked away by a Baggies defender. Odwinica didn't give up and Oy fed Groves a through ball, Groves chipped the goalie for a great opening goal. Odwinica looked good value at this point but just as they tried to settle back down, Wooten lobbed the ball over their defense for a running Campa to chest down and half volley in to equalize. The 2nd half saw the tempo calm, both teams suffered bad injuries to key midfield players, Wooten had to leave with a minor injury while the Odwinica captain and head midfielder Malmsteen was taken off on a stretcher after a botched tackle and could miss multiple games a huge blow for Odwinica. This was an good encounter for the neutral and a fair result, the rematch will be one to look out for. Madpool 3-1 Roostophe Rovers Madpool saw their great start last season ruined by a poor 2nd half of the campaign, they will be hoping this time a good start is followed by a strong finish. They have certainly started well beating former champions Rovers 3-1, Madpools 4-5-1 formation was perfect for combating Rovers 3-5-2 set up. Madpool created way more chances 11 to 4, in a bizarre counter attack move Carey sent defender Galisteu through to net the opening goal. Carey again was to much for Rovers to handle as he lost his man and Hadley found him with a lovely through ball, Carey smashed it past the goalie to make it 2-0. Cuadrado found Mongington who nutmegged the Madpool goalie as it looked like a fightback might be on the cards in the 2nd half. However a clinical finish by youth midfielder Trainer to a curling corner kick put the game beyond doubt. Madpool deserved the win, they were a scary creative force and always looked more threatening they need to maintain this level of play throughout the season. For Rovers they are a bit of an enigma looking great one game then average the next, they will want to prove themselves to be at the top of their game this season. Mcoys Sons 4-1 Silverdale Hotpot Silverdale a team that has been a regular feature of the middle league for the past 5 seasons before winning it last season, made their debut in the top league. Silverdale went with a 4-4-2 formation against Sons 3-5-2, a boring first half was littered with injuries for both teams, Andervi taking a long term injury for Silverdale was a blow for the veteran midfielder. Fitzgerald who came on for the Sons to replace Harris fired in a long range shot in the 61st minute as the Sons started to look dangerous. Chances were few and far between for Silveradle, however Jerome toe poked in a corner kick to level the score with 11 minutes to go. What followed was a rout, as Heckingbottom set up first Jerome then Rufus to score a goal each in the space of two minutes. Fitzgerald rounded the game off by dribbling the ball past Silverdales defense to score a glorious 2nd goal. Silverdale will be very disappointed not with the loss but the way they fell apart in the last 10 minutes. Mcoys Sons not only survived last season but looked like a top tier side, with this superb opening display they are reinforcing that judgment. Most Important Result: Madpool 3-1 Roostophe Rovers, was important for Madpool to get off to a good start this season and they did just that. Turned on the Style Award: Madpool, the Sons may have scored more goals but Madpool were a incredible creative force. Player of the Day: Garth Carey, Madpool, a clean sweep for Madpool, Carey was simply an all seeing creative force in midfield today.

A double over Rovers and Bru and unbeaten against Haden United made a good season great. Mcoys Sons are a good second, they came 4th in their debut season and were the first team to beat Dysonism! Their demolitions of Rovers were an obvious highlight this season. Rovers themselves sporadically turned on the style, with Bru also showing flashes of greatness, the Baggies coming 2nd showed a team with more style than many expected. Player of the day award: Quintal Madpool, Quintal Madpool, Durov Haden, Sandford Dyson, Sbaccanti Haden, Agbonlahor Rovers, Grabinski Rovers, Hiles Madpool, Durov Haden, O Conner Elites, Jevons Mcoy, Twigg Dyson, Gaye Mcoys, Sandford Dyson, Brammer Elites, Marconossi Haden, Zipper DuD, Hadley Madpool, Madpool 4 Haden 4 Dyson 3 Rovers 2 Elites 2 Mcoy 2 DuD Madpools Quintal, Hadley and Hiles were great this season, indeed the midfield trios opening form led by Quintal seemed to put the team in a title challenger position. Their claim faded but Quintal was easily the player of the season. Haden Uniteds players also shone at points, this season was the time when Durov stepped up to be a huge threat. A mention also has to go out to Sandford of Dysonism who was on fire most of the time. Middle League Nominations will be handed out to Silverdale Noodle Oddy Important Results Award: Juicy, Led, Recall, Fish, Led, Rez, Juicy, Fish, Fish, Rez, Recall, Recall, Fish, Rez, Rez, Fish, Juicy, Fish 5 Rez 4 Juicy 3 Recall 3 Led 2 Bayern Fish secured promotion in their first season and what an achievement. This was capped by the way they did it, a double victory over Rez, an away victory against Phoenix and inflicting Recalls only defeat. If their form against lesser sides would have been better they could have won the league! Rez Rabies also deserve a mention for clinically securing 2nd place in the league after demotion. Recall United had some huge wins over Lederhead and Rising Phoenix, while Phoenix themselves ran riot on Murrchester and Domstercool 4-1 on both occasions. Player of the day award: Hammarskjold Fish, Siddall Dom, Bromander Fish, Niskanen Fish, Altstrand Dom, Umemto Mur, Lorimer Rising, Lorimer Rising, Takeo Mur, Wilberg Rez, Wallgren Recall, Hollingdale Recall, Benham Dom, Umemoto Mur, Takeo Mur, Gers Recall, Gers Recall, Mur 4 Recall 4 Fish 3 Dom 3 Rising 2 Rez Murrchester and Recall United share the player of the day award. Umemoto was a revelation this season, creating 8 goals and scoring 3. Recall United were of course led by Hollingdale, but Gers with 8 goals made a name for himself this season.
