  1. I dunno if we have any dropouts which would be great! Noodle said he would be back. However invite people to come! We can have a bigger lower league if needed to fit them all in
  2. Congrats Dyson, Happenstance and Nikos! Forgot about my friendly poor Dinsdale on his last game lol. Not a bad season for me but need to do better next time dunno if I deserved 3rd tbh. Gonna just do awards for rest of games. The top 3 from the lower two leagues will get a pick to when we do the draw. Will make a bigger post soon, change report soon!
  3. Training is Reassuringly Expensive Madpool 0-2 Mcoys Sons Madpool suffered yet another defeat as the Sons gained a much needed away win to boost their season. Madpool went for an aggressive 3-5-2 formation against the Sons 4-4-2. Madpool suffered an early blow when youth midfielder Sedgewick was badly injured and had to be replaced by a defender! 2 minutes later the Sons were headed into the lead by Jevons. Jevons was a danger again, as he crossed in a corner that Gee found and whacked past the Madpool goalie. While both teams had nearly equal clear chances, Curtis was a rock for the Sons against Madpool in defense. In the end Madpool couldn't make a breakthrough and very meekly gave away all 3 points. The Sons will be very pleased with this victory it enhances their chances of staying up greatly. Haden United 1-1 Roostophe Rovers United were frustrated by an impressive Rovers who held them to a score draw. United went for a familiar 4-4-2 against a midfield heavy 3-5-2 Rovers formation. The game started off quite messily with 3 yellow cards and a free kick being awarded. Sheldon shocked United by curling home the free kick and putting Rovers ahead. In the 2nd half Eveleens was injured and was substituted with Dinsdale, the veteran who is playing his last season put in a rare and quite poor performance. It was Mozzini who inspired a goal when he found Sbaccanti had lost his marker. Sbaccanti took it past the goalie and slotted it into an empty net to pull United back onto level terms. United had more chances but Rovers held firm and in the end looked the more impressive team, a draw is probably a fair result. Uniteds inability to win home games has stalled their title defense, Rovers will be satisfied with this result. Bayern Bru 0-3 Battlestar Odwinica Odwinica are becoming a problem for Bru, they proved this today by completing the double over them in style. Bru played a 3-5-2 formation against a counter attacking 5-3-2 Odwinica set up. Bru picked up two injuries quickly as Lindpere and goalie Jurado were knocked about by the Odwinica players. Despite being outnumbered in midfield Odwinica made more chances by lobbing balls into the box. The 22 year old Odwinica midfielder Coles scored with two headers in what was the game of his life. Oy linked with Bello who whacked in a shot off the post to make it 3-0 with 10 minutes to go. Bru had over 60% possession but by the end of the game were booed off the pitch. They lacked a creative spark, were poor defensively and never tested Odwinicas defense. With this result Brus championship hopes may have evaporated while Odwinicas may have been reignited. The 64s 3-4 Dysonism F.C 64s look further set to drop as they lost in an intense home game against Dysonism. The 64s played an aggressive 4-3-3 formation against an even more offensive 3-4-3 Dysonism set up. The 64s started very brightly as Yaketi set up Osman with a great through ball for an easy tap in. They then doubled their lead as Osman was now the creator feeding youth striker Panadopolos with a ground cross that he smashed home. They looked to take that lead into the 2nd half but 2 minutes before the end of time Arber curled a long range shot past the 64s goalie. 64s retreated into their shell in the 2nd half and it was Dysonism who were making all the chances, this bore evidence when Sandford found Twigg on a hurtling run into the box with a sweetly timed pass. Twigg with one touch slid it past the 64s goalie, 9 minutes later Boland the captain lobbed the ball in for what he thought was the winner. However Panadopolos with 5 minutes to go shaped his foot around the ball for an incredible curling long range shot. But in great drama, with the last kick of the ball Sandford fed a corner in that fell to Twigg he made no mistake and nutmegged the 64s goalie. Dysonism fans were ecstatic, for the 64s this loss sums up their season. Most Important Result – Bayern Bru 0-3 Battlestar Odwinica, huge win for Odwinica maybe even a bigger loss for Bru Turned on Style – Dysonism F.C, championship winning performance? Could well be. Player of the Day – Lucian Sandford, Dysonism F.C, while not performing with a consistency of previous seasons he is still among if not the best in the league on his day.
  4. Please don't that era was awful and has literally been erased can't you play a bit less good? Well Im staying up! My dev values arent great tbh I wont be expecting miracles this change report.
  5. Please win!
  6. All these games that I've played Mcoys Sons 3-0 Haden United The Sons scored their first victory against United with a comprehensive 3-0 win at their home ground. The sons played a 3-5-2 formation against a 4-5-1 United set up. Things started off badly for the Sons as Heckinbottom was badly injured in the 22nd minute, however a serious of decisions went against United. Firstly the Sons were given a penalty, Rossall converted it, then United were given a flurry of yellow cards. Avallone gained two and was sent off, after this the Sons scored twice more via Gee nas Fitzgerald. The Sons would have won anyway but United will be annoyed at the margin that they lost by. A good win for the Sons sees them move up the table while the good work done by Uniteds double is undone partly here. Battlestar Odwinica 0-0 Essex Elites Two of the teams that both have the best defensive records and worse offensive records in the league came out unsurprisingly with a 0-0 draw. Odwinica and the Elites played a balance 4-4-2. However their defense was just to strong for their respective attacks. The Elites midfield looked markedly better than Odwinicas and created a couple more chances but Odwinicas defense was in fine form. Both teams had injures but apart from that their isn’t much to say about this match. The Elites should be happy with a point while Odwinica may wonder why they didn't push for a win. Dysonism F.C 1-2 Bayern Bru Bru shocked an under par with a famous away victory that throws the league wide open. Dysonism went for a balanced 4-4-2 against a customary 3-5-2 from Bru. Dysonism had more chances in the first half but failed to land a killer blow as Twigg cut a frustrated figure. In the 2nd half 18 year old Alnoudji in his debut season scored his first ever goal for Bru hitting in a side footed shot from a free kick cross delivered by Lindpere. Lindpere set up another goal soon after as Heinze blasted in a shot off a Lindpere through ball. Dysonism were given a penalty that Dunwell converted however it was to little to late. Brus midfield limited Dysonisms chances to 6 and made 5 for themselves, Dysonism will wonder how they conceded 2 with 4 defenders led by Brobeck. This was a really bad result for Dysonism, for Bru it is a great triumph as they secure the double against Dysonism. The 64s 1-3 Roostophe Rovers Rovers all but sunk 64s chances of staying up as they inflicted a big defeat on them at at their home ground. 64S played a cautious 4-5-1 against an aggressive 3-5-2 Rovers formation. Both sides started cautiously but the breakthrough for Rovers came when Sheldon found Tartara just inside the box, Tartara turned his man and clipped a shot above the goalie into the net. Key 64s defender Sori who was assigned to mark Tartara was given a straight red as he took Tartara out when he was the last man. When the 2nd half started it seemed a matter of how many Rovers would win by. Mortimer found Tartara making a speeding run and fed him a ball that he smashed in first time. Sheldon again found Tartara terrorizing the 64s weakened defense, Tartara took it past the 64s goalie and slotted it into an empty net. Redfearn a youth defender scored his first ever goal for 64s with a bundled in shot from a corner but it was just a consolation goal. Rovers looked wonderful as they set themselves apart from a now desperate 64s. Most Important Result – Dysonism F.C 1-2 Bayern Bru, Bru score a wonderful away victory against Dysonism to gain the double over them in the league this season. Turned on Style – Mcoys Sons, 3 great goals against United they looked back to their best. Player of the Day – Fabián Tartara, Roostophe Rovers, a hat trick for the veteran forward as he tormented the 64s.
  7. We have players here including myself that have years (literally!) worth of experience so just ask. It is a game that is simple to pick up but has lots of little details that give it great depth. I would recommend firstly you would look at the rules on the site. Then when the season finishes challenge a few people to some friendlies. Great news! You are a legend in these parts.
  8. Hey guys just want to thank all of you for another great season. With 2 games left to go we still dont know the title champion for the top title or everyone who is going down and up in any league very exciting! We have had some great banter in the PR, a very exciting top league, some old faces returning in the middle league and some impressive newcomers in the lower league. However to keep this league as good as it is we need new members! If all of you could just try and find one person to give it a go (someone on NE would be doubly good) then that would be superb!
  9. I knew you would guess my formation Moria lol. But it was the best one to develop certian players :/ ah well got a vital point. Have a huge game against 64s. Tbh if I went down I wouldnt be to mortified would give me a great change to develop my sqaud.
  10. Tactics to rent The age of the understatement Before your team ferments Play me properly and pull me apart Dysonism F.C 1-0 Essex Elites The Elites after being surprised by an early goal dominated Dysonism at their ground but didn't have the firepower to punish them. Dysonism played a 3-5-2 formation against a careful 4-5-1 Elites formation. Just after the kick off Dysonism were in the lead, the ball fell to Twigg in the box who slid it past a dive from the Elites goalie. After this superb performances from the Elites midfield saw them outperform their Dysonism counterparts. They made 6 chances to just 1 for Dysonism, sadly with just the 24 year old O Connor up front they were unable to capitalize on these chances. Dysonism had a set back when Stenholm fell awkwardly, the 34 year old talisman for the club was taken off the pitch with a bad injury. However Dysonism saw the game through, they will be glad to have got their early goal as that was their only chance. The Elites will rue going behind as they would have liked to have slowed the game down even more without the pressure of playing catch up. Essex Elites 1-2 Dysonism F.C Dysonism completed the double with a close but well earned double against the Elites. Both the Elites and Dysonism chose to be more attacking, the Elites played a 4-4-2 formation while Dysonism opted for a daring 3-4-3. The Elites went ahead after 18 minutes when Basti crossed the ball in for to head in past the Dysonism goalie. The Dysonism forwards looked very dangerous however, a mere ten minutes later put Twigg through who took it past the goalie and made it 1-1. It has to be said that after half time the Elites began to look poor, Dysonism ended up with 57% possession and looked the better team. Thus it seemed just when Spirito found Sandford with a well timed cross, Sandford looped a header past the Elites goalie who had come for the ball to give Dysonism the win. Dysonism saw the game out as again the Elites forwards were lacking. For Dysonism this double is a title affirming boost, for the Elites it pushes them towards the other end of the table after a previously good run of results. The Sixty Fourthers 1-1 Mcoys Sons The 64s were unlucky to come away with only a point in an action packed game against the Sons. Both teams played a balanced 4-4-2 open to trying to get any result from this game. Hagolahi proved his worth as a free kick taker again for the 64s as he shot them into the lead via a free kick early on. Sons suffered injuries to a defender and forward as the game got rougher. However through this adversity Jevons found space, losing his man and slotting one past the 64s keeper. Jevons was later subbed off with an injury however it was the 64s with the only chance of the 2nd half which they failed to convert. In the end an interesting game but one that the 64s will have wanted to have won. Mcoys Sons 3-3 The Sixty Fourthers Both teams changed their shape and style and everything else in the game changed but the final points distribution. The Sons went for an attacking 3-5-2 formation while the 64s played a possession orientated 4-5-1 set up. On 33 minutes the young Sons striker Rufus forced his way past the 64s defense and pinged a shot past a diving 64s goalie. Lone striker Kamal also broke away from the 3 Sons defenders including youth defender Abrey, Kamal smashed it past the Sons goalie. In the 2nd half the tempo increased and Rufus was there for a corner to volley the Sons into the lead again. However the Sons did not look secure at the back and Hagolahi sent a through ball past the back 3 to Bakir who chipped it over the Sons goalie. 5 minutes later Rufus dinked past a 64s defender and curled in a beauty of a long range shot to get his hat trick and surely win the Sons the match. But no! With 6 minutes to go Baralla the 64s midfielder hit the ball in after an awful Sons clearance from a corner. The Sons manager was furious. The 64s celebrated a great draw were they would not give up. After the double it has to be said no one will be satisfied apart from the neutral fan. Week 1 Most Important Result – Madpool 1-2 Haden United, United bounce back to form with a great away victory against Madpool. Turned on Style – Haden United, looked very dangerous with their counter attacking tactics. Player of the Day – Kunder Lindpere, Bayern Bru, inspired his team in the closing stages of the game with a goal and assist. Madpool 1-2 Haden United United just beat Madpool away from home to win the first leg of the double. Madpool in this match played to their strengths but also went on the attack with a 3-5-2, United went for a counter attacking 5-3-2. Things started well for Madpool as they created more first half chances and Quintal swung in a free kick for Carey to push past the United keeper. Straight after the break though a bad tackle resulted in a United penalty, Durov stepped up and sent the goalie the wrong way making it 1-1. United seemed energized by this and made chance after chance, their 3 man midfield beating the 5 men of Madpool. Marconossi pulled away 2 Madpool defenders and then found Weesle in the box who headed the ball past the Madpool goalie. United fans were elated while Madpool heads sunk. It was a different style from United but their long balls and packed defense won the day against a midfield centric Madpool team. Haden United 2-1 Madpool United beat Madpool to win the double in a tense match that summed up the close battle between Madpool and United in both games. United went for an attacking 4-3-3 line up while Madpool settled for a more conventional 4-4-2. Naranjo scored a tap in as United suffered from an early defensive error, Mozzini found Weesle by the edge of the box just after the restart, Weesle blasted it into the top right corner of the goal to equalize the score 2 minutes later. Weesle got injured and substituted for a defender as United were playing all 3 strikers, despite this they scored the only other goal as Sbaccanti headed the ball in from a looping cross. Quintal was sent off as any chance for a Madpool fightback fell apart when he challenged late for a 2nd yellow card. United deserved to win but it was to Madpools credit that they made it so close. For United this restarts their season on a high, for Madpool things are looking grim after this double defeat. Bayern Bru 2-0 Roostophe Rovers Bru beat Rovers in an unusual match were Bru had 7 chances against 0 for Rovers! This may be explained by their formations, Bru played a 3-5-2 while Rovers opted for an insane 4-2-4 formation! Rovers attack did look terrifying however they never got a shot on goal. Bru on the other hand had 7 chances but struggled for long periods to make them count. In the end Lindpere inspired the breakthrough, as firstly he headed in a corner. Then he delivered a great corner for Brusling to volley home. A good win for Bru but Rovers lack of consistency this time cannot be blamed on anything but their tactics. Roostophe Rovers 5-1 Bayern Bru Rovers came back in style to destroy a poor Bru who crumbled after a sending off. Rovers changed to 3-5-2 after their failed 4-2-4 experiment, Bru stuck with 3-5-2 as well. Brusling started were he left off from the last game and scored via a header 7 minutes in. However a mere 2 minutes later Sheldon found the net with his own header to make it 1-1. In a moment of madness MacCalman squared up to a Rovers player and headbutted him and was given a straight red. More ill discipline from Bru gave Rovers a penalty that Agbonlahor dispatched making it 2-1 before half time. After the break a Sakuri header then a Haspolatli volley meant the game was finished by the 57th minute. Agbonlahor got his 2nd just before the end of the game to complete the rout. Rovers will be thrilled by this return to form while Bru will want to banish this game from their memory. Week 2 Most Important Result – Essex Elites 1-2 Dysonism F.C, great double victory for Dysonism the away win is especially important. . Turned on Style – Roostophe Rovers, were in devastating form against Bru with 5 goals. Player of the Day – Wyatt Rufus , Mcoys Sons, a great hat trick from the young striker should have won Sons this match. Our interview this week is with former champion and double cup winner. Dyson! 1. After much talk about your ageing side you brought in three defenders to renew your team. Having said this you still have quite an old sqaud is Dysonism secure in its future? The Dysonism F.C. squad is one that is constantly on the lookout for new talent to join the team. However, we recognize that our youth academy just isn't as developed as some other teams and as such we need to focus on our current team whilst we build those facilities. Our current team is very strong and the new blood we've had from our academy has been promising, but we will build on this by picking up some big signings in the future. 2. While the first question may seem negative the second is not. Your team with the last 1/4 of the season to go have another championship in their sights, how do you account for this success? If I'm honest, it's all about instincts. I am by no means a good tactician when it comes to working out what to play, how to countar and such. My gut feeling is what tells me how to go about playing upcoming matches. I have found that in the past, I have tried to meticulously work out what tactics to use and what the opponent may throw at me, and it generally tends not to work. Basically, I'm a bit of an oddball. 3. I would like to hear as a manager your comments about Brobeck who has been a rock for you and is now playing his last games for you. And also on Twigg who is a hero at your ground, with 73 goals. I have nothing but praise for these two players in particular, but let that take nothing away from the rest of the squad that have played very well this season. Brobeck has been the best player that Dysonism F.C has seen and he will certainly be missed, but it's time for change and new blood to join one of the strongest squads out there. Patrick Twigg has come through the youth system to be our best striker at the moment. He's got it in him to be at a superstar level, if he's not already close to achieving that. As a final comment I'd like to point you towards Futura Sprito, a player who was brought on based on my instincts once more. His nickname Futura came about as he came to me to promise he'd see that the future of this club would be safe in his hands. He has not disappointed so far. Oh, and also, he's Asian, so, y'know, it fits. But with 48 goals to his name as a 24 year old midfielder, he is definitely something special. Don't be surprised if he's the new Brobeck. Though I'd love to know why a player of this stature has never made it to the X11? Maybe soon, we will find out. Double report is done! Still need to catch up but thats always the biggie. Need a new interviewer so anyone who wants to say something come forward
  11. You may have got more chances but check out the attacking and defending ratings! I am pretty much out of the title race bar Odwinica and Dyson doing awful. Dyson should have it in the bag I think but its still very close.
  12. I have been checking your sqaud. No offense because I lost track of your team for a while, but I always saw your squad as a very solid one that had no weaknesses but lacked a spark. Boy was I wrong! I will be lucky to get a point you have some great players in your midfield and defense.
  13. Ladies and gentleman can I have your attention please. In the post above Mcoy talked about two teams opportunity. Well this season Im given an opportunity not only to Mcoy and Dyson but 4 other teams. These last few games Dyson and Mcoy will not only face each other for the championship. But they will face Haden United Essex Elites Bayern Bru and Battlestar Odwinica All 6 stand in the ring looking at each other. Mcoy has become the hunted! Dyson beats Mcoy 3-0 Round 4! Haden beats Dyson 4-1 Round 6! Bru beats Haden 3-1 Round 3! Odwinica beats Bru 3-0 Round 12! Elites beat Odwinica 1-0 Round 8! Elites stand truimphent Lets hope this doesn't happen
  14. The top league is literally mental. Seven of us could quite literally be champions or be relegated. For ages the middle league has been the most thrilling but its been boring in comparison with us this season. I say us... I fear checking out my fixtures I may be going down! lol we will see. I love you to Dyson and everyone in xpert you guys are why I put all the effort into the reports etc! Talking of which whose next for an interview? Only had top league people so far anyone can do it
  15. Odwinica "Its like im playing with someone elses team" Rovers "Im very dissapointed about how you played." Haden United "Theres a player Ive been training up to insulate me from the stuff that brings down my midfield, now me and this playmaker we have a divergence of agendas." Bru "Step up Helder you know you have our support" Dyson "A winning team isn't a young mans game" Part 2 of season 16 approaches. Roostophe Rovers 2-2 The Sixty Fourthers Rovers and the 64s fought back from 2 goals down to earn a valuable away draw. Rovers played 3-5-2 against a midfield centric 4-5-1 64s side. Things started well for Rovers as Bond in his final season was in great form. Firstly he set up Digby for a close range shot, then he put Haspolatli into space who hit the trigger with a powerful shot to make it 2-0. However youth foiled youth as Bakir the 19 year old 64s midfield scored a long shot that was basically palmed in by the woeful 17 year old Rovers goalie Rimmer. While they only had one striker, 64s looked threatening every time they went forward thanks to Rimmers nightmare of a game. Again Bakir caused trouble as he set Kurdi free in the box, the midfielder hit a snap shot that went in off the post past a motionless Rimmer. The 64s are still at the wrong end of the table but this was a good point, for Rovers their stop start season carries on being just that. Essex Elites 1-0 Battlestar Odwinica Odwinica have been a very hard team to beat this season but the Elites managed it with a close 1-0 victory at home. The Elites played an aggressive 4-3-3 formation against a normal 4-4-2 Odwinica side. This aggressive formation paid off in spades for the Elites, in what was a bad tempered game Odwinica seemed to be content to either go for a 0-0 draw or hit the Elites on the break. The teams were equal in many ways but Elites attack was enough to overcome Odwinicas defense that was watered down by two youths. Odwinica may have seen the Elites attack as their worst area, but with 3 strikers they looked dangerous. Brammer controlled play at the back, while Ling set up Cotino for a close range shot via a corner kick. The Elites fans will be well happy with this victory having tactically beaten one of the best tactical minds in the league. Bayern Bru 4-3 Dysonism F.C Bru and Dysonism battled each other in the most entertaining match of the season so far, with Bru staging an incredible come back in this 7 goal thriller. Both teams seemed out for blood from the outset, Bru playing 3-5-2 against Dysonisms 3-4-3 formation. Brobeck shows Dysonisms attacking intention when he set up Stenholm for a close range shot to make it 1-0 to the visitors. Helder curled in a lovely cross for Testini to head home equalizing after 11 minutes. However it was Dysonism who went into the break with the lead, as Sandford volleyed home a cross from a corner. After the break Dysonism caught Bru on the break, when Twigg put through Stenholm with a one-two sequence that was the definition of flowing football, Stenholm scored with a lovely chip. 3 minutes later the fightback began, Brusling found Lindpere who pulled a goal back from close range. Helder found the head of Rundberg to equalise, then 10 minutes after Dysonism had been 2 goals up Bru took the lead when Helder hit a magnificent long ball leaving Lindpere to just control it then smash it past the Dysonism goalie. Bru fans went wild while Dysonism fans couldn't believe what had happened. Is this Brus year can they win it? Maybe so based on this game. Haden United 1-1 Mcoys Sons United and the Sons drew in a close match against each other. Both teams played 3-5-2 in what proved to be a nervy encounter. Mozzini and Durov haven't been at their best this season but combined well today, Mozzini set up Durov who drilled a shot into the bottom right hand corner of the net. Just before half time ended Jevons equalized with a curling long range shot to make it 1-1. On balance United played better but never recovered from the shock of this goal, without Weesle on the pitch they looked unable to break the Sons down. A disappointment for an out of form United, a good result for the Sons. Most Important Result – Bayern Bru 4-3 Dysonism F.C, Bru send a huge statement to Dysonism and any other club that will listen about their title intentions. Turned on Style – Bayern Bru, had to be on incredible form to beat Dysonism. Player of the Day – Humberto Helder, Bayern Bru, had the game of his life was a force of wonderful creativity today with 3 crucial assists. Today our interview is with a former top league champion and a manager whose club has had some of the greatest players in our league, Moria of Bayern Bru. 1. 185 games, 74 goals and 88 assists. As its Bruslings last season, is there anything you want to say about this man that has become a legend not just at your club but in the league. Noa Brusling must be one of the best, if not the best, players to play in the N-Euro Championship of all time. Brusling is a legend at the club and his name will go down in history. Let me tell you this, all the players are playing their hearts out this season so that Brusling can finally win his well-deserved Aficionados medal. Noa has been called the greatest player of all time and winning the league would be a fitting tribute to him in his final season of football. He has been a role model for our young players for years now and next season it will be up to young players like Humberto Helder and Tomas Testini to step up to the plate to take his place. 2. Now a name you may not like as much. Essex Elites! So much history between you two and most of it bad for you. Why can't Bru best this team. We have been incredible unlucky this season with a major injury to our goalkeeper. In both matches we have gone 1 up and then the Elites have pulled back to win it so they have been lucky. The Essex Elites have always used shady tactics and our team, as you can see from us winning the Lower League last season, we are the better team. Just wait until next season when we will come back bigger, better and stronger than ever before. 3. We have talked about the soon to be past with Brusling, the present regarding your Elites feud, what does the future hold for Bru? The future of Bayern Bru is Tomas Testini, Ferdinand Alnoudji and Humberto Helder. 3 youth players with massive potential to become superstars. Testini is already developing at a rate far quicker than we ever believed him to and Helder, now at an age of 25, has become an integral part of the side and has got more skill than either Noa Brusling or Davy MacCalman did at the same age. He's one to watch. Alnoudji, still only 18 years old is quickly becoming important to the team and enroute to a double jump, he's the next Danny Otter.
  16. You are playing me away. Make it so, best to leave out Brusling to I feel.
  17. Noone can ever leave!
  18. Damn bad times you are an xpert legend!
  19. Its demented in this league! I gave it a good shot but had to dampen down my midfield a bit with youth. Having said that Dyson has a 1st class sqaud so he may have won regardless. Could be up for relegation this season we will see either way United will carry on!
  20. Away games are hard. And so am I. You better give me 3 points. So I don't die. Xpert for the Soul. Before I sputter out. Mcoys Sons 3-2 Madpool Mcoys Sons picked up a vital win in a dramatic game against Madpool. The Sons played an aggressive 3-5-2 formation against a defensive 4-5-1 formation from Madpool. Jbil headed in the first goal for the Sons before the lack of players at Sons back gave away a penalty to Madpool, Quintal converted it making it 1-1. A bevy of yellow cards, an injury and chances took us into the 2nd half where Jevons powered home a beautiful long shot. With 10 minutes left Madpool seemed in sight of a point when Quintal lost his marker and slammed in his 2nd goal of the day which went in off the post. In the 82 minute however another penalty was awarded, this time for the Sons. Jevons stepped up, and hit it, the goalie got a hand to it but couldn't stop it from going in. The Sons fans were ecstatic for what was a needed win against a fellow struggling side. On the balance Sons had got his tactics right and deserved to win, but Madpool fans will have wished they got a vital away point from this game. Dysonism F.C 6-2 The 64s Dysonism have so far being the giant that has stirred occasionally, while the 64s have been the eternal enigma, a team that should surely have a title by now (read more in our interview this report)? Dysonism played a balanced 4-4-2 against a cautious 4-5-1 from the 64s. Sadly for the 64s this caution did not pay off, Twigg outran his marked in the 7th minute and scored, Spirito scored via a freekick and corner in the first half, before Twigg set up Boland for a header in the 42nd minute to send Dysonism into the half time 4-0 up. Gobady hit a curling shot to give the 64s a glimmer of hope, Spirito however again curled a ball in for McLen to hit in soon after. Hagolahi then Boland scored for their sides to make this dramatic game even more exciting, however the first half display by Dysonism meant their was only going to be one winner. The 64s must have no complaints and should regroups to tackled Dysonism at their ground. Dysonism looked deadly, are they going to step up when noone else seems ready to? Battlestar Odwinica 3-1 Bayern Bru Odwinica look dangerously like title contenders as commentators change their “scalp wins” tag lines to “solid home victories” in their reports. A 4-4-2 formation saw them through against a usual 3-5-2 Bru set up. Backer surely the most hated man in the league, made his reputation among non Odwinica fans worse as he was the one who scored against Bru first! Via a penalty but still it wasn't appreciated by away fans, the home ones found it hilarious though. Howarth carried on the joke, as the defender slotted in a powerful free kick to make it 2-0. Rundberg finally made Brus possession pay off with a goal that he slotted in past the goalie. But Howarth again stepped up to score via another free kick to make it 3-1 to Odwinica. While Bru deserved to dominate the midfield, Odwinica deserved to win the match. Again another great performance from what surely now cannot be called the underdog of this league. Roostophe Rovers 2-0 Haden United Rovers gained a needed and deserved win against the defending champions United. Rovers played an aggressive 4-3-3 against a normal 4-4-2 from United. Apart from Sheldon being called on to replace an injured Rovers player, the first half was non eventual bar a couple of United chances. Agbonlahor put Rovers ahead via a tap in from a free kick assist to make it 1-0 to Rovers. While United dominated possession and were Rovers equal in chances they couldn't make it pay. Rovers sealed the win in extra time when Fowler headed in a goal past the United keeper. For Rovers it is a vital win keeping them relevant, for United it is a match they didn't look competitive in. Most Important Result – Battlestar Odwinica 3-1 Bayern Bru, Odwinica prove a point with a great home win. Turned on Style – Dysonism F.C, 4 goals in the first half, 2 in the 2nd, wonderful football. Player of the Day – Futura Spirito, Dysonism F.C, if Dysonism are the future force in this league this man will be their best player. Two goals and two assists today. Today our interview is with the manager of one of the long established teams in the league. Gaggle 64! 1. Things haven't worked out ideally this season. You have a good goal scored record but a not so good defensive record, is this something you are concerned about? For sure things aren't going as well as we might have hoped. The defensive problem is a problem but a temporary one. We've built a fantastic front three who are still fresh but battled hardened and experienced enough to tackle just about anything the opposition has. Our defensive line-up is simply not yet where we want it to be as we've been swapping young blood in for old this season. The rookies we've got however are developing magnificently well, even better then expected. We're prepared for relegation, for sure, but I think it's likely we'll return even stronger to the top tier in a couple of season's time. 2. Who do you enjoy matches with in the league the most? Odwin, definitively, for sure. We've always had a great mix of results against each other. Each time we meet it's practically a derby to us, though I don't know if he feels the same way. I remember way back in the early days of the N-Euro league when we were one of the few teams who were able to stop him, when he was at his zenith before resetting his team, the smug Mormon bastard. He's fantastic manager, for sure, and when we're able to seriously challenge him again we'll know we've made it back after a tough string of seasons. 3. You have always been a club to avoid big transfers and develop youth why have you chosen this path? When you train a player up right up, either out of your youth team or as a cheap young acquisition, there's a sense of accomplishment, real pride when you see them going out and putting themselves among the best. You don't get that if you just buy the talent in. For sure, there's nothing wrong with that, I'm not going to criticise other managers for doing that. If they’ve scraped the money together for it, they’ve got every right to spend it how they damn well please. But it's not my way, that's not my kick. It's not easy, for sure, and it's disappointing we haven't yet won a cup despite coming close several times. But when you're up against what amounts to a store-bought squad and your organic home-growns go and whup-em... well, there ain't anything like it, for sure.
  21. I am going through a bad run, Madpool double aside and home games against you and 64s things havent clicked this season. My youths still need games so I would put you odds on fave to win lol. With that in mind play some youths if you want! Hehe. Sent questions to next interviewee anyone who wants to be in the next interview after the up and coming one PM me.
  22. He was close he was real close. I couldnt see Odwinicas tactics but I could feel them. The Sixty Fourthers 0-1 Battlestar Odwinica The 64s lost out in what was a violent game that they will want to forget. The 64s played a possession orientated 4-5-1 formation against a balanced 4-4-2 from Odwinica. The game was ill tempered as 5 yellow cards and a red were handed out, out of these fouls Howarth took his chance to blast a free kick in and put Odwinica ahead. Yaketi and McImage of the 64s and Odwinica respectively were both badly injured in what was at times a brutal game. While the 64s made 6 chances to 3 for Odwinica, their 1 attacker stood no chance against Odwinicas superb defense. One bad thing for Odwinica was Dinicolantonio being sent off after a silly lunge that further marred this game. For 64s this is another result they needed to get points from, Odwinica will be very pleased with this result but not with their suspensions and injuries from it. Haden United 4-1 Dysonism F.C United beat Dysonism convincingly as Marconossi shined in this exciting game. United played a standard 4-4-2 formation against a midfield heavy 3-5-2 set up for Dysonism. Weesle put Marconossi through on goal almost immediately to put United ahead as he chipped the ball over the goalie. However Dysonism pressure paid off as Spirito slammed home a free kick on the edge of the box to even the scores. Both teams lost key players via injury, Sandford hobbled off before half time and Weesle was badly injured after the restart. With 59% possession United made it pay in a devastating 4 minute period in the 2nd half, firstly substitute Sbaccanti crossed it in for Marconossi to power home with a header. Durov curled in a shot 2 minutes later, before Marconossi made it 4 and completed his hat trick when Durov put him through and he sent the goalie the wrong way. United were on sparkling form, Dysonism looked great but United were just unstoppable today, a great win to put them back on track. Essex Elites 2-0 Bayern Bru Two old rivals resumed their battle as Elites yet again seemed to have the measure of Bru. The Elites riskily played 4-3-3 but Bru also intent on attack played an even more daring 3-4-3. Even with an extra man and Brusling leading them Brus midfield seemed under par and unable to suppress Fakaj who inspired the Elites. After a few chances the Elites went ahead when O Connor hit in a looping header pass a flailing Bru goalie. Elites defense was strong enough to stop any Bru attacks from their youth forwards and it was Fakaj who finished the game off with a volley from a corner. The Elites went wild as they sealed the win over one of their greatest rivals. Bru must hate coming here but will seek his revenge at home and will not want to lose home and away to the Elites like last season. Madpool 2-2 Roostophe Rovers Madpool and Rovers earned a draw in a close match that could have gone either way. Madpool played their usual 4-5-1 against Rovers 3-5-2 formation. This was a very close game with 7 chances created overall 4 of which were converted! Madpools early pressure paid off as they were given a penalty, Quintal found the corner much to the cheer of home fans. However Rovers always looked dangerous, Bond squared it for Mortimer who leapt above defenders and powered it home. With 9 minutes to go and both sides still probing each other, Quintal curled in a corner that Naranjo prodded in. Madpools fans went wild, they seemed to be holding on for a victory, until a ball that hit a Madpool defender looped into the air was somehow headed past the Madpool goalie by Haspolatli. It was a cruel blow but a draw was actually a fair result. For Madpool they will be disappointed but they played well, Rovers will take this draw. Most Important Result – The Sixty Fourthers 0-1 Battlestar Odwinica, great result for Odwinica grinding out a hard win away. Turned on Style – Haden United, were on absolute fire today. Player of the Day – Massimo Marconossi, Haden United, shone with a wonderful hat trick today. Oh and I forgot! Our first interview is today. Todays interview is with Top League manager Madpool. 1. Who has your best feud been with in the league? I wouldn't say i have a feud with anyone, I'd say the best matches i have are with Haden and Mcoy. There's quite a few others that i like playing, like Roostophe Rovers and Essex Elites. Wouldn't say i have any feuds though. 2. Did you develop a 4-5-1 style because of the talent at your club or did you set out to cultivate this formation? It was more to do with me having decent midfielders. I think i started using it in a few matches, and it seemed to work, so i stuck with it. It's getting abit stale now and people can out do me tactically, so i really need to start changing it up, which I've tried doing this season. It hasn't necessarily worked, but in the long run i think it's important I carry on doing so. 3. What does the future hold for Madpool? Hopefully a title in the next few years! I feel we're close to the top, and among the top teams. This season has been disappointing so far, but we still have everything to play for, and with a few wins, it could launch us up in this really tight league. We have good youth coming through, and we're working hard to develop them into top players. I see us as an improving team, and i believe we can only get better.
  23. Disaster for me today, my players really didnt click played to negative I think. Still its all very tight at the top!
  24. Mcoy reporting to central. Everything running smoothly. Over and out rock and roll God bless Xpert. (Checks Hadens team page) Whats going on? Where did he come from why does his kit look like mine? 2 games 2 games 2 games. Battlestar Odwinica 0-0 Haden United United suffered another 0-0 draw as both teams failed to provide much of an attacking spark. Odwinica played a 4-4-2 against a counter attacking 5-3-2 United formation. Odwinicas defense looked amazing with everyone playing beyond what even their fans expect, the 20 year old Delgadillo had a good game fitting in to the best defense in the league well. Odwinica had 3 attacks to only 1 for United, Odwinica played long ball seeking their attackers. But against 5 defenders Odwinicas attack which wasn't on fire at the best of times failed to make an impact. Both teams seemed by the end to have given up on this game in which they canceled each other out. For Odwinica they did well to get a point against the champions while Uniteds gained an away point. Dysonism F.C 2-3 Madpool Madpool pulled off a superb away victory to shock Dysonism F.C in a dramatic game. Dysonism played a 4-4-2 against Madpools usual 4-5-1, everything seemed to be going to plan for Dysonism as Stenholm set up Twigg for a header to make it 1-0 after 13 minutes. However Madpool rocked Dysonism with a goal on either side of the 1st half, first Quintal crossed it in for Hiles to head in then after half time Hiles again escaped his marker and headed in this time a Trainer cross. Both midfields were on magnificent form as Stenholm threaded a perfectly weighted ball for Sandford to knock in to make the score 2-2. Yet again though Madpool were dangerous in the air, Quintal was left in space and Trainer headed in the cross. Despite making 9 chances against 6 for Madpool and having a more impressive attack Dysonism failed to hit back. While they made less chances their midfield seemed more together and was so hard to track down. Both teams defenses played well despite what the scoreline may suggest, for Madpool this was a huge victory a statement that they want to be title contenders again. For Dysonism this may be a costly 3 points lost. Mcoys Sons 3-1 Roostophe Rovers The Sons finally got a victory at home to Rovers after a dreadful start to the season. The Sons played a 3-5-2 against an attacking 4-3-3 Rovers line up. In a cagey first half it seemed the match may end up in a draw, Fitzgerald put the Sons ahead with a close range shot but Mazzoleni smacked a shot in off the post to make it 1-1 just before half time. However in the 2nd half the Sons dominant midfield created 7 chances to 0 for Rovers, Fitzgerald scored first when he jinked past his man and lobbed the goalie, then via a sweetly struck header 2 minutes later. His hat trick was greeted with jubilation and relief by Sons fans, as Rovers overwhelmed midfield capitulated it could have been 5 or 6 goals rather than just 2. For Sons this was vindication for a team that is much better than their place in the league, for Rovers it was a case of wrong formation wrong time. The Sixty Fourthers 1-1 Essex Elites The 64s after a good opening win will be frustrated as they failed to take the sword to fellow promoted side the Elites. The 64s played a 4-4-2 formation against a 4-5-1 midfield heavy style from the Elites. The game held few chances but some poor defending gave the Elites a penalty early in the 1st half that Ling blasted into the center of the net. Hagolahi soon lifted 64s spirits as he curled in a great goal from a free kick to make the scores even. However the rest of the game was a drab affair, both midfields lacked a certain aggressive or creative edge to make a breakthrough. For 64s this is exactly the type of game they need to win to stay up, the Elites may well take this point and be happy. Most Important Result – Dysonism F.C 2-3 Madpool, Madpool halt Dysonism and show they are readying themselves for a title challenge. Turned on Style – Mcoys Sons, chance after chance was made as their midfield was in blistering form. Player of the Day – Lorccán Fitzgerald, Mcoys Sons, after a quiet couple of seasons the striker was on explosive form today. Would like to bring back interviews as part of the report. Anyone in any league who would like to participate PM me I will PM you back questions and put your answers in the next report!
  25. Btw full respect to you MadDog. Very close games had to really vary tactics and play good sqauds to get the win could have gone either way.
