  1. @The Peeps needs to approve your team then you will have a team and be ready for when the off season begins. Good to have you back man
  2. That is such a horrid game for poor maddog lol but any xpert joy in Christmas should be enjoyed by all lol!
  3. Approve the person baby! I give this speech at the end of every season. Crack some heads make some new managers! Gonna post this now. because I may never be this close to you guys. MadOld, Winston losers, DragMoyesUtd. You can't touch this.
  4. That sounds immense! Will be great to do that we can figure out the details next pre season. I think you have the Middle League in the bag even with an injury crisis your squad depth is fantastic. Anyone have any candidates for new members next season? Deffo could do with a refresh of people.
  5. Nice win today my first away win of the season! Was thinking I have fallen behind in my reports as per usual and it seems no one really has the time to do full season reports. What about for next season we have a team of reporters so if we had four you would do one report every 2 weeks. Of course with next season that format will change bit. I think it is a good thing to do as it gives a focus and are good to read. Let me know if you are interested I will keep track. Even if you can help a bit it would be good Xpert pundits for next season: Haden Sorry Peeps I missed your prediction maybe you could post it on xpert to?
  6. As of today, my back line is 10-14 midfield 8-13 (the 8 is Burlett who missed a few games and whose form took a hammering at the start of the season but he will feature in every game and has very high form now so am not worried.) Forwards are 11-13. Overall I am pleased with that, what I love with this team is my midfielders are so flexible I can put some of them in different positions to help develop them all. Today Conden played as a defender and also got marked which has happened before and always makes me laugh But I am not taking anything away from @Dedede who played a couple of youths and nearly came back to draw which would have been a disaster for me, as it is I have kept up my 100% home record and am trying to hone in on Madpool and take 3rd spot.
  7. Nice to see you back in the game! Peeps correct me if I am wrong but it may be worth trying to avoid relegation this season even if you are concentrating on devs etc as this seasons finishing position will seed everyone for the Champions League. I am trying to claw my way into the top 3 but having trouble doing that as I cannot win away.
  8. These were my exact two facial expressions pre and post 66 minutes Also shit kicked off at 66 minutes and the final score was 6-6. bob is the devil.
  9. Damn forgot about the spotlight i am going for 2-0 with 2 free kicks I will be honest i thought you were doing this as a joke like Moyes rather than being a bad manager like Owen coyle it sucks you found this out just before our game lol. I agree with you that its stupid btw
  10. Round 3: The plains of Xpert Leeds M.O.T 0-0 Hadens Rangers This was a very nervy game and not really one to go back and watch if you missed it. Both teams lined up with a 4-4-2 set up but chances were at a premium. Leeds had 2 chances but Tenzer is really growing as a goal keeper and Palmer has been fantastic for Rangers this season so the chances were both limited and stopped. Rangers however did not make anything and now that Astle is gone and Burlett was injured they really needed the rest of their midfield to step up but they failed in doing that. A poor game for both sides. Coloccini FC 6-1 Cubic County Coloccini have had a few seasons were they have gone up and down through the Middle and Lower league but they really look like a strong middle league side now that will be pushing to be in the top 3. Playing with confidence their 3-5-2 formation set them up for a goal straight away as Costa set up Murgita for a headed goal. However County hit back Lassiter climbed above everyone to find the net with his head. This was only a temporary blip as Madeley and then Murgita scored to make it 3-1 going into half time. The captain Stockley pulled up with a nasty looking toe injury into the 2nd half. However the home side was unstoppable even without him, Murgita lost his marker to bury his 3rd goal and the dominance in the air continued as headers from Costa and Mallo gave Coloccini a 6-1 victory. Cubic are finding this league hard but credit to them for coming out with 2 strikers. AFC Dedede 1-3 Madpool Madpool proved to much to handle in midfield as they dominated a spirited AFC Dedede. Both sides played 4-4-2 but it seemed like Madpool had an extra couple of players in their midfield as they passed circles around the home side. Gerrard was the main creative force in midfield and he set up goals for both Gay and Monk in a 1st half which Madpool had 7 chances to 0. The home side looked better in the 2nd half but Gerrard made sure the momentum stayed with Madpool when he hit in a stunning piledriver that rang in off the post to make it 3-0. Ainsworth scored a free kick soon after to make it 3-1, however when the captain Brydon fell into the dugout going for the ball and hurt his leg the Dedede manager let out an audible sigh. A frustrating game for AFC Dedede against an irresistible Madpool. Bob 1-3 The Familia FC bob was looking to score a victory after two 7-1 thrashings in a row. The ultra offensive bob was hit on the break almost straight away when Wallwork found Chase with a long ball from a bob corner, Chase just had to beat goalie to make it 1-0. However momentum seemed to swing back to bob, Crossley a great The Familia midfielder was stretchered off and minutes later bob were given a penalty. Lone striker Kalla thumped the ball straight into row Z in what was one of the worst misses of the season so far. As the 2nd half started the bob players came out first and seemed very much up for the restart, almost immediately the ball fell to Kalla in the box and he whacked it home and ran over to the home fans who were cheering with delight for the villain turned hero. The game was very back and forth now but it was a more balanced away side who hit home next as Kingston curled in a beautiful shot, bob kept coming forward and dominated possession but in the end when Walters headed in a Bachmann cross there was no way back. This was better for bob but an impressive The Familia FC took their chances and got the 3 points. Winston Gardens FC 3-1 Dragooooo This had a big game feel to it already after 2 games as both teams seem genuine title contenders. Winston really wanted this win with a 3-5-2 line up and came out fired up. Ingham who has been fantastic scored again when he pounced on a loose ball early on, he then set up Goodison for a close range placed shot that left Sesia with no chance. Dragooooo could not get out of their half and Thomas made it 3-0 with a curled shot on the 31st minute mark. However Akera got a knock just before half time and when the away manager gambled it all with 3 substitutions in the 2nd things began to change and Dragooooo got into the game. However the goals did not come until it was to late, Wennergren headed in a peach of a cross from Strindlov. This was a good game but Winston just overpowered Dragooooo in the end, the rematch may be crucial later in the season. Most Important Result: Winston Gardens 3-1 Dragooooo, this felt like a big game as I said and Winston passed the test with flying colours. Played with Style: Coloccini FC, not only do they win games in this league now, they dominate games with beautiful football. Player of the Round: Gerrard, Madpool, was the architect of two goals and hit in a third to help Madpool win a potentially tricky game.
  11. Yeh the thing is next season is Champions League so should be great fun so log in to keep form up and get youths in. I thought your team were on the way up to be honest you have done a really good job with them.
  12. Solid win today against Cube looking forward to the rematch. Playing against bob fills with my fear, my ideal formation would be 10-0-1 Get the ball in defense lob it up to a totally unmarked striker at the other end. Oh and after today Winston, Eights and Russians looking like sure bets for titles but could there be some twists on the way?
  13. Round 2: You only play twice The Familia FC 3-0 Cubic County The Familia got a solid win against County with a great all round performance. Despite being down in the midfield battle playing 4-4-2 against 4-5-1 the home side overran County with 64% possession and 7 chances to 3. However County defender well in the 1st half and it was only in the 2nd that the goals came. First Gibbs set up Kingston to whip in a long range effort, then Kingston turned provider for Auffret to head in a goal. Moments later the youth striker Ekedahl came in for Kingston and headed a goal with his first touch of the game. This was a great performance by the home side and a very tough lesson for County. Madpool 7-1 bob This was frankly an embarrassing game for bob fans as Madpool destroyed them. After 27 minutes the score was 7-0 Hales had a hat-trick as did Monk and Trainer had set up 3 goals. Madpool had nearly 70% possession and had created 11 chances to none. The home fans were chanting for 20 goals at this point and it was a relief that bob must have stocked up on the hair-dryers because after half time his team came out and started to play. They even got a goal back as Onifang hit in a curling free kick. Madpool did not score again causing the long suffering away fans to sing “We won the half”. Madpool now already have a magnificent goal difference bob have the sort of goal difference that is the average temperature in parts of Russia at this time of year. Dragooooo 5-1 Leeds M.O.T This match highlights an interesting narrative change for both of these clubs. Dragooooo had a manager on the verge of leaving and a team who were seemingly on the way to a double relegation. Leeds after their own manager came back from a period of absence seemed a club on the rise with hopes of a top 3 finish. This game sums up the change that we can see already 2 games into this season. Dragooooo really bossed the midfield with both sides playing 4-5-1, Strindlov Disk and Wielink combined beautifully in the first half to create 2 goals while Carrero kept Leeds in touch. However in the 2nd half Strindlov started to dictate the the midfield at his will, setting up Roka and Barculo for goals. Barculo then smashed in a corner to make it a 5-1 rout, the only downside was Velho being sent off for a very silly push after already being on a yellow but a fine win for the home side, Leeds look like a club lacking confidence at the moment. AFC Dedede 0-3 Winston Gardens FC This was always going to be a tough game for AFC Dedede but they came up playing 3-5-2 really wanting to go after Winston. Sadly for them creative midfielder Hodge was taking out in a nasty collision and the youth Hill was brought in as an emergency substitute. This was a real shame as Dedede desperately missed both his creation of chances and good work and breaking down opposition moves. Ingham was able to play with more freedom and soon set up Benmouih for a great goal and then bypassed a 3 man defence, leaving them for dead before nutmegging the goalie. Dedede were kept quiet and when they did push forward Winston threatened on the break and scored again when Goodison sent Hu Liu through for a 3rd Winston goal. This was a positive game for AFC Dedede, Winston are top quality opponents but in other games at home I tip them to get some scalps this season. Coloccini FC 1-1 Hadens Rangers These two managers have a lot of respect for each other and their teams are both on the verge of breaking out of the Middle League. Both teams went for an attacking 4-3-3 set up but it was the home side who struck first, Stockley hit a cross in for Costa to power home. Rangers were kept in the back foot but struck back after the break when Mallett turned provider and lifted the ball in for Walters to power home with a header of his own. Both sides seemed content with a draw and neither really pushed for the win, it will be interesting to see what happens in the reverse fixture as not much separates these two. Most Important Result: Dragooooo 5-1 Leeds M.O.T, while Winston got an away win this result for me shows that this season is going to be a very positive one for Dragooooo. Played with Style: Madpool, okay so maybe bob helped this but 7 goals in 27 minutes? That is incredible. Player of the Round: Strindlov, Dragooooo, was dominant in midfield orchestrating play with skill and setting up numerous goals. 2 and 3 please
  14. She was the leader of Nexus all along Austin! You all brought it hook line and sinker! Even my immediate family even my cousin brought it!
  15. The old widow in the house next to your stadium has died. It turned out she was a big fan and according to her will Hadens Rangers gets 17 000 econ. May she rest in peace! Reports are saying she died after watching bob vs Cube 5-5 thriller on MOTD. I hope you are happy guys.
  16. Yeh it is my real focus and joy in creating my team, I have a couple of players in the midfield who are all rounders and can play as forwards or defenders which is great. All my goals have come from midfield which I actually quite like! Glad to see you are back your midfield centred stylish play is what I would like to emulate with my current team.
  17. To be fair I was at home playing my best team it was a gg I am sure you will triumph in the rematch. How is your team going? I feel you are a bit like England, veterans and youths and a lost generation in the middle.
  18. Hadens Rangers 3-2 Madpool
  19. 3-0 to Rangers and 7 chances. I am bonusing this one high it is a special meeting.
  20. 3 points feels good! I must have a huge home advantage because outside crippling Winston's playmaker I did nothing right tactically. I am taking you down next @MadDog you and your SAS are no match for the Burlett Mallett combination!
  21. I am fearing a loss but will see what happens I usually have a bad start to seasons and then go on a great run in the center and falter a bit at the end. Figure it will be the same this time :P
  22. Round 1 Coloccini FC 1-0 The Familia FC A matured Coloccini side took on The Familia in what was a controlled victory. Coloccini lost out on possession even with a 4-5-1 formation but the Familia seemed to have some pre season rust as they failed t fashion a single chance. Something that was a plus point for the away side was their defensive display with the ever green Chris Jerimo coming up with some outstanding saves through the contest. However Coloccini pressure eventually paid off when they earned a penalty which the legend that is Haslop hammered past Jerimo. This looked like it had 0-0 written all over it but this is a very good win for Coloccini while the Familia will need a bit more bite to back up their defence in the next game. Cubic County 0-6 Madpool This was a major mismatch as promoted County were destroyed by the midfield talent of Madpool. Madpool who have fallen out of the Elite League showed why they belong back there with a magnificent display. Playing 3-5-2 it was clear the manager saw this game as a chance to make a statement. Madpool were rampant in midfield with crisp passing between players, Hales scored a hat-trick with Gerrard, Gay and Monk all getting goals as well. Madpool fans worried about the future of the club will be glad to see youth like Levia making an impact with 2 assists. To add insult to injury Walters who endured a miserable time in defence was taken off with a nasty hamstring injury that may take a while to heal. Two sets of fans had a very different experience of the Middle League today! Dragoooooo 3-2 Hadens Rangers An all action match made this the highlight of the Middle League opening season as these two Middle League veterans put on a passionate display. Rangers lost the initiative early as star midfielder Burlett was crashed into late by a Dragoooooo player, he had to be subbed off. This left Rangers lacking stamina and strength in midfield and the home side took advantage quickly in a period of play that gave them a two goal lead. First a free kick by Wielink that popped up over the wall and then a toe punt by Velho that made its way into the net. Rangers caught the home side napping soon after as they counter attacked and Cahill found space and blasted a shot in off the post. Just before half time a crucial moment occurred, Tabb brought down Barculo in the box. The striker stepped up after some mind games by Tabb delayed the penalty, this must have affected the Dragoooooo forward as he blasted it straight over the bar to the delight of the away end. In the 2nd half the sub Mossley fond some space and launched a ball in for Cahill to head in his 2nd and tie the scores up. However with the lions share of possession the home side kept coming forward and Barculo of all people saw Tabb off his line and lobbed the Rangers keeper for an amazing goal. The pace of the game remained steady as Velho clattered into Rangers striker Mallett to send him off and earn himself a yellow card. With frustrations rising Mulholland went in late near the end of the game and didn't even wait to be sent off as he walked off the pitch to the joy of the home fans. The managers exchanged the briefest of handshakes at the end of this one. What a final day rematch this will be! Leeds M.OT 0-3 AFC Dedede In what was the shock result of the day Lower League champions Dedede beat Leeds at their own ground 3-0. While Leeds packed their midfield with 5 very capable players Dedede seemed more organised with their 4-4-2 formation. They beat Leeds in both possession and chances and twice in the first half veteran midfielder Alder ghosted past a sleeping Leeds defence to head the ball home. When strikers Kane and Ainsworth linked to score a 3rd just before the half drew to a close home fans were furious. Leeds tried to push forward especially when Dedede defender Axford was subbed after a hard tackle but they could not even find one goal never mind three. Willoughby earned a 2nd yellow for a late challenge at the death which annoyed his manager. However this was a fantastic away win for the Lower League champions! Winston Gardens FC 7-1 bob The other ritual slaughter of the day occurred as Winston Gardens took bob to the sword. Their 3-5-2 formation against a weak but to their credit ambitious bob side gave Winston 14 chances and nearly 70% possession. 6 Winston players scored and Benmouih contributed with 3 assists, for bob Kalla headed in a goal to at least give their fans something to cheer about. What should be said about this game is obviously it doesn't indicate that Winston will be invincible but their team is in the opinion of this writer the best in this league and it was shown in this game, they were simply devastating. For bob it was a harsh lesson in playing attacking football away against a vastly superior opponent. Important Win: Leeds M.OT 0-3 AFC Dedede, Dedede are a remarkable team and their arrival at the Middle League could have seen them being 'found out' but this win shows they more than deserve to be here. Stylish Play: Madpool, Winston Gardens, both sides gave a masterclass in playing football of a different class and made huge statements of intent on the first day. Player of the Day: Reggie Hales announces he is here to the Middle League with a effortless hat-trick.
  23. Best midfielder got taken down plus three away games in a row has caused a very bad start but should mean a good run in. What is up with your team btw? They are way to good! Is matt dead Nikos? Our alliance must be doing awful haha
  24. Finished the game yesterday wow is all I can say, I will write up my full thoughts later in a spoiler tag but fr now just wow. For me that was one of the most well thought out story in a game I have played generally and in the series. There are a lot of links and as for the ending I had loads of theories and when the big reveal happened, I did not see that coming... Was my reaction. I hope this gets a lot of sales as I love this series. However next time I am going to play is with another game as well, I get a bit burnt out sometimes and feel I rushed it at the end but that was partly to get to the amazing conclusion
  25. Flinky I can't believe you crippled my best player for the rest of the month and got the ref to send off another top midfielder just so you could beat me.
