  1. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

I'm up to the bit with the nurse now. Loving how mental everything is becoming...
  2. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Ended up playing this until around 1:30 last night/this morning Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere in this game is through the roof! And the adrenaline rush you get during the nightmare parts is immense.
  3. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Despite the best efforts of Konami, GAME, Zavvi, Royal Mail, etc... to stop me getting this, my copy finally showed up today. Just had a quick go to see what it's like, going to save playing it properly until later on tonight though. The visuals are really good, especially the texture detail, which is stunning! I love how it's possible to clearly read the various posters/signs that in most games would just become a blurred mess upon closer inspection. But the fine detail in this is fantastic. Can't wait to get into it.
  4. Your favourite levels/sections so far

Have had great moments in so many of my Wii games, but if I go through them all I'll be here forever. So I'll just add a game that otherwise might not make it into this thread... Wii Music. Yep, the title that so many love to hate, but for those that it clicks with, there are some absolutely amazing experiences to be had. I've clocked well over 80 hours on it and have loved every second. If you put the effort in then it's one of the most rewarding games out there. So much fun to play but also the feeling of satisfaction you get from a creating your own music videos is incredible. And unlike the simon says nature of conventional music games, you truly feel like a musician while playing Wii Music. Bonus favourite moment: Mario Kart Wii. This was and still is hilarious:
  5. Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing

Just been checking out the soundtrack on YouTube, some interesting stuff in it, especially this: Does part of that Synth riff sound familiar to anyone else? :
  6. Thanks for the heads up.

Have already been enjoying that art.

And yeah, a WarioWare: D.I.Y. sig is on the way too. ;)

  7. 3DS eShop Thread

I was just looking at the Japanese DSi Ware list to find this game, and I couldn't believe just how many titles are available! Check it out: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/dsiware/titlelist.html They've got a crazy amount of games/apps compared to us (over 100 more I reckon), why are Nintendo being so damn stingy with the DSi Ware, when there's clearly so much to choose from!?
  8. DS/DSi General Discussion

Whoa! That looks pretty rad. :awesome: It's out next week in Japan for 500 Nintendo Points: http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/dsiware/krgj/index.html Hopefully it'll make it to our DSi Shop soon.
  9. Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep

How dare you label elevator music as a negative?! I happen to love elevator music. Not only that, but it fits the chilled out nature of the game perfectly. As demonstrated and . For shame, Mark!
  10. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Sounding good, very good. Please remember to use spoiler tags, people. : peace: I ended up cancelling with GAME, what with them being dicks about the release date. So I ordered it from Zavvi and it's already on the way! With any luck it'll arrive early next week. Such a shame that yet another big third party title gets the shitiest of launches.
  11. Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing

Well, it's not the first time, and most probably not the last either.
  12. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Wow, stubborn. Guess I'm wasting my time then. Don't really want to cancel though as I'm getting a pretty good deal with reward points. Hmm... What to do? Perhaps. The only other one I can recall is the catastrophe Majesco had with Blastworks.
  13. Rabbids Go Home

The soundtrack that Ubisoft released on iTunes consists of only the Vagabontu brass band stuff. Pretty sure you'd be able to find all of the licensed stuff that was used on YouTube though, here are my favourites: Classics. :awesome: Major respect to the people that compiled the track list for RGH. I just hope Ubisoft will continue making such high quality games, they're clearly able to produce some really great stuff when they feel like it.
  14. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

Where did you order from? Did your copy show up today as well? I've been trying to get in touch with GAME to find out what's going on, no luck so far though. Is it just me, or do all Wii games that get distributed by Konami have incredibly irregular behaviour at launch? It was a similar story with Eledees and Marbles! Balance Challenge.
  15. Rabbids Go Home

Yeah, that is quality. I also do the spinning thing.Boney M for the lift music is the icing on the cake. Indeed, some quality gags throughout the game. I found, "No penetration allowed in this zone!" particularly amusing. You mean the last big star at the top of the pile?
  16. Super Mario Galaxy 2

More like EAD Tokyo giving a nod to their very own Jungle Beat I reckon. Looks stunning though, and the trailer is amazing. The only thing that could potentially impair this awesomeness now is NoE messing up the European release date. Anyway, not long to go before we find out.
  17. Nice one! Thanks. icon14.gif

If it is around though, can you try to find out about the region locking thing we were discussing in the game thread? That's what I'd most like to know about, after the release date, obviously. ;)

Anyway, have a great time mate.

  18. Nintendo Media Summit 2010

Wow, some crazy release dates for the US! Let's hope the European ones are similar.
  19. Nintendo Media Summit 2010

I seriously hope this event brings us some new info for WarioWare D.I.Y, like when we can expect a European release. Not liking the fact that there's a date for the US but not for Europe, especially after the WarioWare Twisted fiasco.
  20. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

I'm wondering if I should cancel my pre-order at GAME then, as they should be shipping this today if it's out on Friday, but they still have it down for release next month!
  21. Wii Release List

That's interesting. I wonder what's up with GAME then. Are you going to keep your pre-order with them, David?
  22. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

A bit too early for that, no? Still 10 days to go until release date.
  23. Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing

For those that have the Nintendo Channel: http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1130247&postcount=390 Your link goes to Zavvi. *EDIT* Link to TheHut: http://www.thehut.com/games/platforms/nintendo-wii/sonic-sega-all-stars-racing/10066279.html Looks like they've sold out though. *EDIT2* According to the review in ONM there's no GCN/Classic controller support, but you can use the Wii Remote + Nunchuck combo to steer with the analog stick. The review also confirms that there's no Space Channel 5 themed track, which is super disappointing seeing as Ulala is in the game. And despite the fact there are characters from 14 SEGA franchises, all of the tracks in the game are based around just 6 of those. I reckon every playable character should have had their own unique track.
  24. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

I've got my copy pre-ordered at GAME:http://www.game.co.uk/Games/Wii/Silent-Hill-Shattered-Memories/~r346256/ You usually can't go wrong with them, especially if you want the game as soon as possible. Which if you're pre-ordering is most likely the case. : peace:
  25. De Blob

No problem with it going multiplatform, they just had better not mess with the formula. Interesting how there's no mention of the DS version though, especially as they show an iPhone one. Looks like it might have been canned then.
