I have seen people claiming rare fish spawn more often on mystery islands. I haven't done a lot of fishing there, but I can kinda back it up. Got three Coealacanth in like 15 minutes earlier today, without bait. It should rain on the mystery island if rains in your town. At least it did for me as I went back and forth between mystery islands hunting for fossils.

Thanks for the recipes Hero-of-Time. I just assumed you were allowed to take those in the open Love the golden flooring. Gold items seem to be a theme. With the golden candle I now have three gold items, the last one being a golden lucky cat.

Between fish, bugs and fossils I think fossils will be the first one I complete, even if I do it myself. So that's what I'm going to do. And the spares I might want to display in my house or outside, I just don't one which ones yes. Last week Katie had 400+ so everyone flocked to her island, including me. Then I got 585 something the next day so the few that missed Katie visited me. Then whoever it was had 600+ the next day and got like one or two visitors. So I'm not doing the same mistake again. I'm waiting for better prices. I mentioned this on the turnip thread, but other people can get DIYs from Celeste. Don't know about Gulliver though. Also, Flick and C.J. won't commission for other players so good luck getting a complete collection.

I don't think those requires rain though. Also people have said, and I don't know if this is true, that you have higher odds on mystery island. The pier where the plane on mystery island counts for the fish you mentioned.

Not about turnips, but I was thinking it's a good idea to announce and open the gates if Celeste is visiting. I believe every player gets an DIY related to stardusts.

Yeah, it's too easy get rich with the turnip market. It will seriously reduce the lifespan for the game for a lot of players. Bridges and house expansions costs a lot but it's perfectly possible to do so just by playing daily even for less than an hour, it will just take months instead of weeks, more in line in the spirit of the game in my opinion. But the option is there so it's hard to say no
