Common known as gold plated. Unless you have fantastic speakers, and I am talking about Studio Reference Speakers that usally cost between £1000-2000 then there is little point. The interfence you get from a normal cable is so descrete its impossible for the average speaker to output it, and there is noway you would notice the difference.
