James McGeachie Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 This game looks amazing visually in comparison to that Samurai wave game.
DCK Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Long post I won't spam the the thread with You're a pessimist. The Wii has regaine far more confidence already than either the N64 or Cube did. Ubi Soft supplies more launch titles than Nintendo and has plenty up stock. This confidence was regained exactly because of this new way. If Nintendo had done something similar as Microsoft and Sony and made a GameCube 2, exactly then Nintendo would have failed miserably as I don't think it would've beaten the GameCube in sales. If the Wii will sell, developers will come to the Wii. The Wii has plenty of third party support at launch (only 8% of the launch games by Nintendo) for a succesful launch and then things should start rolling. I'm full of confidence that the Wii will easily surpass the GameCube. Nintendo's image is much better (the console much much better designed), and they're really different this time. There was no real added value of the GameCube over its two competitors for the neutral consumer, but the Wii really is something different and not so 'scary' as the real gaming consoles.
