Charlie Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Try uninstalling the software first, then restart your computer, and try again.
Bogbas Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 I would recommned that you get some kind of firewire add- on for the laptop. For example my sony dv cam cuts down the video resolution when USB is used. And capturing from DV is easier as almost any video editing program can do that.
Caris Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 there is no software! it just wont see it! and cheers for that tip, i didnt know about that.
RoadKill Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Yeah, you can't capture in real time using USB usually, FireWire was originally designed for capturing and streaming video. Something like this will sort you right out: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/58971 It will slot into a spare PCMCIA slot, which you likely have on your laptop, but double check first. It's only cheap as fuck!
Caris Posted September 4, 2006 Author Posted September 4, 2006 ah its ok mate ive had this sorted for about a week. cheers anyways.
