Demuwan Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 http://gonintendo.com/?p=4714 “The controllers we had in front of us didn’t even have the motion sensors inside them… There was plenty of speculation after Sony’s E3 conference that the motion-sensing functionality was jammed into the controller at the last minute as a reaction to Nintendo’s strategy… Not to mention the fact that apparently the first many game developers had even heard of the functionality was right there at that press conference.â€
Ryan Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 If it was last-minute, they wouldnt admit it would they. Motion sensing is a sad craze..
BeerMonkey Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 IF they had kept that "boomerang" controller i wouldve had a little more respect for them as there trying different things..BUT..thats just the same controller with "6 degrees of freedom" and its wireless. at least the XB360 and particularly ninty are trying new pads/controllers to bring new gaming experiences. Its just like they cant be arsed about the customer and more conserned about chucking that blu-ray player in the PS3 that they hope will make them money.

BeerMonkey Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 um ummm.. um..... typo..just dont wanna sound like a ninty fanboy as i like ninty and MS. i.e Wii60 ftw..just sounding like a Wii60 fanboy now lol hehe
Sarka Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Are they? 10 At least Microsoft are trying. They took all the flaws of the old controller - redesigned it last gen - took the flaws of the redesigned one and made it into what is meant to be one of the comfiest controllers ever. Though it's not changing the way we play - it is nice.
Tellyn Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 The point is Microsoft didn't think: "Argh! Look what Nintendo did, we have to do that too so that it will make us more money!"
