Guest Jordan Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I got a new phone yesterday, the Sony Ericsson W810i. However, i'm not capable of going online with it or sending MMS texts. I have all the correct settings, checked them a million times however it still doesn't send or connect to data streams. Is there something i have to do to be able to get it to work? For example, ring them to make sure my phone is capable of doing data enabled things? Thanks in advance.
conzer16 Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I had the same problem with my SE v600i when I fist had it. I rang up Vodafone and they configured my phone from their end and it was all sorted in about 10 mins. I dunno what the problemo was, because I had input all the settings correctly, and checked them and rechecked them over and over again. They set it up from their side and it worked flawlessly. Give your them a ring
BGS Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Often when you get a new phone you have to ring the network for certain features to be 'unlocked' on your phone. Let me know how the phone is though because I should be receiving my W810i in the post tomorrow!
Guest Jordan Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 It's a great phone, it really is. The camera is fantastic considering its on a phone, good battery life and a great menu system. Highly recommended, especially since my old phone sucked ass. And no, its not an N-gage . Nokia 3300.
Jon Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 Sony Ericcson are widely known to be stupid with network settings, never sendng you they correct ones.
