Stocka Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 - Both the Nintendo GameCube and Wii versions of the upcoming much-anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess game, will be identical in content besides the control scheme. That means no bonus levels, weapons, extras, etc... - Suda51 (The creator of Contact DS) have confirmed the development of Contact 2 but interestingly enough, there was no mention of what console it would launch on. They also confirmed the development of a Wii game, the title of the game is unknown at this time. - The Wii’s first fighting game will be Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2. - Zelda:Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Red Steel, Dragon Quest, Super Monkey Ball and Rayman Raving Rabbids have been confirmed as launch titles.
ShadowV7 Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Is there a date estimate for DBZ? I wasn't expecting anything extra in TP either way i'll be getting both versions.Wonder when we'll hear more launch titles.
Emasher Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 nintendo power has been wrong before i'm sure there will be some diferences. i have been geting np since 2004 and they always say stuff before its final though it is a great mag.
djamb3 Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 This is good news for me I don't want to buy a wii this year but I'm tired of waiting for this zelda. Finally it arrives and I don't want to play a worse version.
raven_blade2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 I hope the Wii Zelda version plays as good as it looks. Some sites say the controls feel a bit tacked on. But theres a lotta time before launch, I trust Nintendo to make everything right.
BlueStar Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Zelda:Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Red Steel, Dragon Quest, Super Monkey Ball and Rayman Raving Rabbids have been confirmed as launch titles. Better be some other games on top of that, otherwise I'll end up buying one game I actually want at launch and something else just for the sake of it.
The Bard Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Yah, I desperately need DBZ, that game looks insane. Also, what would be really very nice would be a new Bloody Roar for Wii, since I doubt it's not going to get very many fighters, and like on the GC, BR kept me occupied for near a year, seriously, it pisses me off, Nintendo's neglect of my fave game genre. I suppose theres always the Virtual Console titles to look forward to though.

Tellyn Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Smalldude check the Revo-Europe archives, he is right. Suda51 revealed what their game would be called quite a few months back (April 2006 I think).
