JMarimon Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Hello. I've been doing some photograms in a summer honors program at my local college. I havn't seen any on RE, so I figured I'd make a thread for them, and start by posting one. Sorry is it so big, but the detail was just soo awesome, I couldn't down-size. Post/talk about photograms here.
Marshmellow Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 i dont know what they are either, but that pic is pretty damn sweet
Twozzok Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 A photogram is a photographic image made (without a camera) by placing objects directly onto the surface of a photo-sensitive material such as photographic paper and then exposing it to light. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photogram That's pretty darn cool.
JMarimon Posted June 17, 2006 Author Posted June 17, 2006 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photogram That's pretty darn cool. Yup, Wikipedia saves the day. They are really fun, if you guys get a change, definatly try them out.
mario_jr Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 If I use a scanner, would that be considered a photogram?
JMarimon Posted June 17, 2006 Author Posted June 17, 2006 If I use a scanner, would that be considered a photogram? Nope, scanners are actually too bright, and they don't get the same negative effect of an actual photogram.
