KingOfHyrule Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 It seems that if Ian Paisley doesn't strike a deal and sit down with Sinn Féin in a NI government, come this November we'll be ruled directly by Dublin and London jointly. Personally I hope Paisley doesn't make a deal, because he's well and truly snookered if Dublin and London get involved. Dublin will do more for the Irish people and surprisingly, London will do too. A NI government may work short term but let's face it, the DUP will never ("NEVVVAAAARRRR!!") accept Sinn Féin in government, so I think joint rule is the way to go. The UK don't even want NI anymore, we drain their resources and have been the thorn in Lizzy's side for decades. Any excuse to give us back is more than welcome I'm sure!
Haver Posted June 15, 2006 Posted June 15, 2006 Why the fcuk did they put the road tax up on 4x4's !?!?!?!?My mums Landrover can go just as far as any car on the same ammount of Diesel so that counts out the so called "gas guseling" and it also has to take the same emissions test any car has too so that counts out the so called "environment killing 4x4s" Now dont get me wrong when you look at what i have said ... why should we pay more road tax? Your mum's car is amongst the least energy-efficient available and as such comes with a levy to discourage potential buyers, thus helping the environment.
