somme Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Mario PARTY I hope you meant. Mario Kart is a fairly decent game.
mcj metroid Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 What i said kart?A HUGE MISTAKE sorry of course i meant party!
Domo Kun Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 In my opinion: There will be a few stupid gimicky Wii-DS connectivity features. These probably won't push sales, but they'll be worth trying if you own the required games and both the Wii and DS. There could possibly be some good conectivity features, although I don't have any ideas. DS may be useful for say, a feature in which you're required to write something. It could just add a bit more depth to games, right? Being able to download DS demos from the Wii will push sales of the games if they're good. It's a great try-before-you-buy feature. The possibility of downloading VC games to your DS is brilliant, and will perhaps push sales a little bit. However, I'm not the prophetic bard who past present and future sees, I'm probably wrong.
Blue_Ninja0 Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 The possibility of downloading VC games to your DS is brilliant, and will perhaps push sales a little bit. As i said earlier, only the NES and some smaller SNES games will fit in the DS's 4MB, and the resolution will be downscalled, but it would be a nice addition anyway.
InvaderElmo Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Perhaps they will come out with something that fits into the GBA slot that can store a few games on it at a time. The only thing I see that might not work is the whole resolution thing which was discussed somewhere in the Wii forum.

I'm really no expert, but they could use DS cards to store some n64 games, right? Going by the fact that Mario 64 DS fitted on a DS card. Shoot me down now tech heads!

Shoot me down now tech heads! It would work (any n64 game would fit in a DS cart) but I don't see nintendo selling blank DS cards anytime soon for... well piracy issues >_> I don't think we will be seeing any sort of storage for VC games on the DS since emulation could be a big hit to system preformance anyway. Mario 64 DS was recompiled to run on the DS if it were to be run via emulation it would probably be a slide show.
Blue_Ninja0 Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Yes, the DS does not have the power to emulate N64 games, i suppose. NES and SNES are okay.
