I hope this is a bad case of poor research and not one of those things that differs from the comics and movies. They've already indicated in the first film that Wolverine is fairly old due to his healing power, so making Beast his father would make no sense unless they go and add healing powers to Beasts character which would be very very wrong Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

To answer the topic: The story of Wolverine's childhood was told in the limited series Origin. He was born James Howlett, the son of wealthy Canadians John and Elizabeth Howlett in 19th century Alberta. He was a sickly youth, therefore his father hired a girl named Rose to take care of him. They were joined by a third youth, Dog Logan, who would later become James' bitter enemy.So there we go. Beast being Wolverine's father is retarded, even for The Star.
